Attack on Titan: Armin and Mikasa Emerges

It was another, what should have been, an ordinary day inside Wall Rose for Eren Yeager. Except it wasn't.

He just got done speaking to Captain Levi, discussing their plans for the future expedition, and Eren at first notices what looks to be Mikasa dashing towards him. All except it wasn't Mikasa.

No, this was someone else....some... different. Someone he's known for a longer time.

"Eren!" The figure called out to him as they reached closer to Eren. "H-Huh...?! What...?! Wait a second...your not Mikasa. You're...ARMIN?!?!"

"Yep it's me! Heh, heh..." Armin chuckles sheepishly. His body had....changed. His body structure and everything was just like Mikasa's. Even the hair and boobs were accurate! All except for his eyes, nose, and mouth.

"Armin...mind explaining to me exactly what the hell is going on here?!" Eren wanted answers, and he wanted them now!

"Well, erm....about that. You see, the thing is.....Hanji's attempted experiment gone wrong." Armin starts off in a slur, very uncertain of how to explain the way he turned into this.

"Wait...you mean to tell me this is all because of Hanji?! What do you think your doing letting yourself be her guinea pig?!" Eren begins to shout and nearly but heads with Armin.

"I-Im sorry! She was practically begging me and said it could even help humanity in the battle against the Titans! A-And I had to accept if that was the case. But honestly...after letting her use me...I don't think that was the case." Armin droops.

"Armin, you should be smart enough to know that you shouldn't believe everything someone tells you." Eren crosses his arms unhappily.

"I-I know, but...sigh...let me explain. She told me the experiment she was wanting to test out could help humanity in the battle against the Titans, so of course I accepted. But while Hanji was about to aim her invention at me, it looked like it was about to let out lasers-- which was something she hadn't had her invention programed to do, and suddenly Mikasa jumps out of nowhere and shields me. I fell down but next thing you know, when I woke up...I turned into this."

"S-So...what your saying is...is that you and Mikasa somehow emerged...?"

"Yeah, pretty much."

Eren was completely astonished and dumbfounded. He didn't think this could ever be possible in reality. He thought silly things like this only happened in fiction. But boy, was he wrong...

"Look Armin, I want to help you. But first--" Before Eren could even finish, Armin clamps Eren's mouth shut and drags him away with him into a close by alley.

"Q-Quiet!!" Armin shushes his childhood friend as they hid in the darkness. Over where they were just originally standing came Hanji. Apparently she was looking for Armin.

"Sigh....Armin where are you?! I just want to help you turn back to normal! Have a little faith in me!!" Hanji screams out like a person going mad.

"S-Section commander Hanji, I don't think he is here." Moblit states to the crazy gal who simply sighs as her gaze wonders about.

"But that's strange. I could have sworn I heard his voice around somewhere. No matter. We will find him. After all, no matter what, we need to get Armin back to the lab and somehow split him and Mikasa apart. Mikasa is a very strong soldier. Like many says, losing her would be like losing an army. It would be quite the loss. But then again, we can't lose Armin, he's smart and his strategies are very reliable and has saved many of our comrades lives countless times. Argh...we gotta find him so we can fix things right!!"

With that, Hanji and Moblit leaves, and Armin sighs and loosens his grip on Eren. He feared that if he didn't hold on to Eren tight, he would dash towards the two. But thank goodness Eren didn't fight back.

"Armin...why are you hiding from them? They can help turn you back to normal and bring back Mikasa! So why...?"

"Sigh...because I'm scared Eren, okay? I'm scared that they may kill me-- and Mikasa, in the process. Just as Hanji said, she's willing to do anything to split me and Mikasa apart back to our former selves. Even if it means the results is our death."

"Armin-- I think you misunderstood what Hanji was saying. What she meant Is that she doesn't want to risk losing Mikasa forever, and she doesn't want to risk you over running away and hiding forever." Eren explained his thoughts over what Hanji's words meant back there.

"But Eren...this has never happened to anyone before. One slip up could result in me and Mikasa's deaths, and...and..."

"Wouldn't it be better than hiding and running away? Wouldn't you prefer placing your faith in her? Even if it was just one last time?"

Armin thinks about it, and suddenly his fear slightly goes away and is replaced with some sort of determination. Armin hates being a coward. And running away and doing nothing....is something he hates. He's not going to do that.

"Ok...your right Eren. I have to do this. I can't run away. I never have and I certainly won't now. Whether I like it or not, Hanji is our only hope in me and Mikasa returning to our old selves."

Immediately upon finding his resolve, a huge grin makes way on Eren's face. "Now that's the Armin I know! Come on, let's find Hanji!"

"O-Okay!" Armin nods.

Armin and Eren eventually finds Hanji, Armin decides to put his faith in the mad scientist and hopefully things will be set back right.

While Eren waited outside of the room he'd hear horrid screams coming from Armin and maniac laughing coming from Hanji. Several times Eren wanted to rush in and check on them, and to make sure that Armin was ok, but he suppressed himself.

Armin was brave enough to put his faith in Hanji, and Eren should do the same. He knew this. So he waited and waited...until the door finally opened.

"Armin and Mikasa...erm..." Hanji was currently fiddling with her glasses as if she didn't know what exact words to say. Because of this, Eren had thought the worst had come and he squinted his eyes shut while biting down against his teeth to suppress himself from breaking down crying. But...

"They are ok and back to normal!!"

"W-Wait what?! Seriously?!"

"Totally! Go walk on in and take a look for yourself!" Hanji steps aside so Eren could walk and the first thing he sees is Armin and Mikasa no longer combined into one...but separated. The way that it should be.

"Eren!!" The two cries in joy as they run for the yeager and grabs him into a tight hug, nearly causing him to fall over. "W-Whoah! Easy, easy!" Eren chuckles.

"I'm so glad you both are alright. You mean the world to me, you know that?"

"We love you Eren." Armin and Mikasa smiles during the group hug.

The trio were finally reunited again. In the normal way. The way they should be. "Oh and, Hanji?" Eren removes himself from Armin and Mikasa to be giving his full attention to the mad scientist.

"Oh, yes Eren?"

"If you ever touch Armin again...I'll kill you."
