" Chapter 23 - Tent "

Jennette's Perspective:

"You really are an idiot," I muttered as I treated Kiel's face. We're in the infirmary tent right now treating his wounds.

"Tsk! Slow down will you!" Kiel hissed.

Why are you so always like that to me?

"It's your fault why Athy's lost.." I retort.

He just remained silent, not looking in the eye. I really want to help Lucas for finding Athy but the teacher said to treat Kiel's wounds.

"You know she has a boyfriend, yet you still kept on liking her.." I muttered.

Kiel stared at me, "I just can't accept it... ever since Lucas appeared in her life she just suddenly ignore me.." He said lowly.

I pinched his wounded cheeks. "Ow!! that hurts!!" He exclaimed.

"How can you say that?" I said, slapping the gauze on his face. "You're just an idiot who always thought idiotic things.."

"That's thrice.." He grumbled, holding his cheeks in pain.

I just smiled at him innocently, "What thrice?"

He chuckled and said, "Are you like that to anyone?"

"No.. just you.." I said, putting back the materials in to the first aid kit.

"You better get ready, when Lucas comes back with Athy," I said jokingly.

"Haha, very funny.. I'm sure Lucas wouldn't do that... right?" He shuddered, sudedenly looking pale.

I laughed at his expression, "I don't know.. you can go now." I said, ruffling his hair.

He stood up, arranging his hair back, "You ruined it.." He said. "Aren't you gonna go too?"

"I'm gonna stay here.. It looks like it's about to rain.." I replied as I put back the kit in it's place.

"Then I'm gonna stay too.." He muttered and took a seat.

I raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure?"

"I just can't let alone a friend in here." He shrugged.

Ouch...

It would be much better if you added girl in that word. "Suit yourself..."

I won't give up on you, you know...

"What are you smiling at?" He asked.

"Nothing..." I answered with a smile.

"Creepy..." He suddered.

"Shut up."

I'll make sure that you'll look at me too.

I wonder what will happen between us..?

"Stop with that smile!"

"What smile?"
