LAW & HIS NEW CREW MEMBER

"Heyoow, Doctor-san!"

A wide smile formed on your mouth when you saw Law, your new captain, walking alone in the street. You ran towards him and that's when he faced you.

Law blinked. "Y/n-ya."

No emotions is showing on his face and you're starting to get used to it. You were smiling from ear to ear while he's just with his usual stoic face.

"Are you going up to the mountain?" you asked.

He's walking towards the direction of the mountain on the island. You wonder what he would do up there.

"Yeah," he replied.

"Can I go with you?"

Law immediately shook his head. "No. Head back to the ship now."

"Eh?" you pouted your lips. "But I really want to go with you! I don't want to die because of boredom, Doctor-san!"

But Law is also persistent to make any excuses so you won't come with him.

"Bepo is there. You can play with him if you want, y/n-ya."

You let out a sigh and can't help but to roll your eyes upwards. "Hmp! Okay, fine! I'm going back now!"

When Law saw your reaction, his lips parted. He was about to come near you when you turned your back on him and start to walk back.

"I'll just have a date with Bepo-sama!" you said, tears are trying to come out from your eyes.

"Oi, y/n." Law called you but you didn't look at him.

He's just so mean!

"Oi," Law pulled you closer so you have no choice but to face him. "Are you sulking?"

"No! I'm not!"

Law stared at you flatly. "I get it. You're sulking."

You bit your lower lip and place your hand on his chest so you could push him away. Law did let you go but he remained standing only inches away from you.

"I'm not mad at you just because you won't let me come with you, Doctor-san!" you denied.

"Why do you have to shout?" Law mumbled but you can clearly hear him.

You shifted your eyes away from Law so that you will not be distracted with how handsome he is right now. The light from the full shining moon is reflecting on his face.

"I'm not shouting!" you exhaled. "Well, anyway, I'm gonna go now."

You are about to walk away from him again but Law quickly stepped towards you. What he did next almost stole your breath away.

He wrapped his arms around your shoulder. He is totally hugging you from the back. Thankfully, no one is around.

"Y/n-chan."

Your stilled and This is the first time that Law called you with a 'chan' on the end and not just 'ya'.

Pull yourself together, y/n! Don't let his sweetness throw away your anger!

"W-What now?" you act unbothered but deep inside your having a heart attack. "Could you please let me go, Doctor-san? I have to get back to the ship now just like what you've said."

"Can you go with me up to the mountain?" Law asked you in a deep tone.

"Why?"

"Just because I want to."

"O-Okay..." you slowly nodded your head, slowly smiling.

And just like that... your anger melted!

"But in one condition," Law pat your head softly then whispered, "Always stay beside me and don't go off somewhere or else I will send you back after

You can die now due to too much happiness.

"This is..."

"Magnificent, isn't it?" Law walk beside you.

So this is why Law want to come here...

The both of you are on top of the mountain. From here, you can see the wide calm ocean and moonlight lifting its beautiful scenery. The breeze of the air is so calming and you can feel your heart warming.

It was worth it to go with Law here.

You spread your arms, closing your eyes while the cold air fanning your air. "This is the most beautiful view I've ever seen in my entire life. I didn't know that this paradise exists, Law."

You didn't heard any response from Law. And because of that's silence, you realized that you said something that you shouldn't.

You called your captain without honorific!

You slowly moved your head to face you and you bit your lower lip when you saw him already looking at you.

You hurriedly bowed your head. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to call you that way, Doctor-san."

"It's okay. I won't mind if you call me by name.

You blushed."B-But that's embarrassing."

"I think it my name sounds more amazing when you say it."

You look away from him. "Stop kidding around... Law."

"Y/n..."

You are startled to see Law crouching down and covering his face like he was embarrassed.

"Ah! Sorry! It sounds weird, right?" you faked a laugh.

You are about to widen the gap between you and Law when he caught your hand. He is still crouching down so he's looking up at you.

"Are you blushing?" you can hear the teasing tone on Law's voice.

"No..." you covered your face with the back of your free hand.

"Then let me see that pretty face of yours," Law demanded.

"I don't want to..." you started to fidget your fingers. "I'm scared."

"Don't be. It's just me and you here." Law stood up and reach for your hand but it freezes on the air when you snapped.

"I'm scared to face you that I might end up saying I love you!" a tear feel from your eyes followed by another. Your cheeks heating up. "I am so much inlove with you Law that I could die!"

But when you actually realized that you already said what you don't want to say to him, you prayed in silence that the ground will eat you up.

You waved your hand, trying to take back what you said. "I-I mean—not! No! Oh my gosh, just forget what I said, Doctor-san—"

"Say it again," Law cut you off, taking a another step forward, helping you wipe your tears away. "I want to hear it one more time."

You shook your head, biting your lower lip. "I-I can't say it once again..."

Law softly chuckled and gave you a very drop-dead gorgeous smile that will make you feel on your knees.

"Don't be shy, silly girl. It's not like the feeling is not mutual."

"H-Huh?"

"I love you too more than you love me," he muttered and lowered his head to give you a soft yet fiery kiss on the lips.

It's a sign that you are now owned by the Surgeon of Death...
