Chapter 7: No going back (finale)

After a few hours later finding a way back to the town

Sunflower:''You ready to go back home?''

Puff:''Yeah i really missed our home, i really am!''

Sunflower:''Well hang in there little guy we're on our way back right now''

Puff:''But do you still have the map with you?''

Sunflower:''I don't think so but i do know where we're suppose to go, it's a little far from here but we'll make it''

Puff:''I just want to reach home already!''

Sunflower:''Be patient puff we're gonna be there soon''

Puff:''I can't wait to meet the people there and the others will be surprised to see us''

Sunflower:''haha.... of course they will''she laughed.

Puff:''And pea would be even more surprised''

Sunflower:*blushes*''Oh u-um..... y-yeah he would''

Puff:''You look nervous i guess you really liked him''

Sunflower:''Oh kiddo i think you've known too much, nightshade would always be the annoying one''

Puff:''But i like nightshade''

Sunflower:''Well not much if i were you''

Puff:''How about dusk do you like her a lot?''

Sunflower:''Well she's serious about things but she's still cool, we're always cool''

Puff:''But am i cool?''

Sunflower:''You're already cool why do you need to ask me that?''

Puff:''I don't know i thought i never was''

Sunflower:''Well since you finally know now you better be happy about it''

Puff:''Thanks!''

Sunflower:''I just hope everyone made it back home alive, the zombies are everywhere on that side i just.........i just hope they would make it''

Puff:''Well they all would make it back alive because there are lots of people with the others''

Sunflower:*sees puff looking sad*''Hey kiddo what's wrong?''.

Puff:''It's Jake, i can't stop thinking about him he didn't deserve to die''

Sunflower:''It's not our fault puff, Ron f*cked it all up and he's gone now he doesn't have to bother us anymore even Zomboss but yeah Jake was a good friend, he was so nice to all of us and his loyal dog, He was also a good friend of Annie, really good ones but we didn't even get to say goodbye''*sad look*.

Puff:''Well at least he doesn't have to suffer from the zombies anymore''

Sunflower:''Yeah i hope he's happy about that''

Sunflower:''Look!, i can see the town it's really far but we're almost there'

Puff:''Um.. sun there are zombies here now''

Sunflower:*sees a lot of zombies coming*''Whoa that's a lot of them, puff where's your gun?''

Puff:''Right here but i don't think we can beat them all there's too many of them''

Sunflower:''You're right we need to find somewhere safe''

Puff:*Looks at the small mountain*''There, We can climb up there and they can't get us''

Sunflower:''Alright come on''*Runs to the small mountain with Puff*''You're light puff you gotta go first''

Puff:''But what about you?''

Sunflower:''I'll climb after you!''

After helping puff climbing up the small mountain.

Puff:''Come on sun, grab on''*hand out to help sunflower climb up*.

Sunflower:''Alright!''*Pulled by one the zombies and bit her on the leg*''Ah!''

Puff:''No!!''*takes out a gun and shot all of the zombies nearby sunflower*.

Sunflower:*holds puff hand and climbs up*.

Puff:''Sun, are you okay?''

Sunflower:*looks at her leg and saw a bite mark, she started to feel scared because she remembered this moment from her nightmare*''I.........I..''

Puff:''No..........no''he cried.

Sunflower:''Puff look it's okay i'm gonna be alright, we'll make it back and we can get help it's just a bite''.

Puff:''But you're gonna turn''

Sunflower:''I know but we can make it back!''

Puff:''But it's so far''

Sunflower:''We can make it i know we can''

Puff:*sad look*.

Sunflower:''Please puff just stop thinking abut it''

Puff:*starts crying and hugged sunflower*

Sunflower:''I know puff........i know''she cried.

They both started walking back home,20 minutes later sunflower felt sick and weak.

Sunflower:*looks at puff and he's still crying*''Hey puff.......i love you''

Puff:''Yeah i know i love you too''he cried.

Sunflower:*starts coughing a lot and felt weak*.

Puff:''Sun are you okay?''he cried.

Sunflower:''Yeah i'm..........i'm fine''*sees puff having more tears coming out of his eyes*''Puff please stop thinking about it''

Puff:''I can't''

Sunflower:''Of course you can you're my sweet little boy''

Then more zombies started coming.

Sunflower:''Puff come on we have to run''

Puff:''Okay, but what about you?''

Sunflower:''I'm gonna be fine, i'll be right behind you''

Puff:*runs away from zombies*.

Sunflower:*running away but then fell because she felt even more weak*.

Sunflower was taking her time to get up, a zombie was walking towards her. Sunflower closed her eyes because she thinks this is her end but Puff shot the zombie in the head and ran to help sunflower.

Sunflower:''Down there near the river they can't get us there''

Puff:''Okay come on''

Sunflower:*ran then fell because she was very sick and felt even weaker*.

Puff:*Runs to sunflower and help her*.

They both went down to the ground nearby the river.

Sunflower:''Alright i think they can't get us here''

Puff:''Okay what do we do next?''

Sunflower:''I....''*cough*''i think... that way come on puff we can make it''*Fell down and feeling pain*.

Puff:''There's more of them''

Sunflower:''Not much''

Puff:*shoots the zombies with the gun then ran out of ammo and takes a rock to hit the zombies in the head*''There i think that's all of them''.

Sunflower:''Well done kiddo''she smiled.

Puff:''We have to go back now, come on sun you can do it''.

Sunflower:*tries to get up but she couldn't anymore because she felt extremely weak*.

Puff:''Sunflower, Please!''he cried.

Sunflower:*sighed*''I'm sorry kiddo, i don't know if i can still make it''

Puff:''Of course we can come on please!''he cried.

Sunflower:*cough*''You can......But i can't''

Puff:''Sun please try!''he cried.

Sunflower:''Puff i'm bitten you know that''.

Puff:*starts crying*''Please.......i don't want to leave you like this''he cried.

Sunflower:''Oh sweet little goofball!, you know i always loved you''

Puff:*more tears coming out of his eyes*''I love you too, you were always to good mom to me the best one''

Sunflower:*Starts crying*''I...my little boy''*touches puff and make a squeak noise*.

Puff:''That wasn't funny at all''he cried.

Sunflower:''I just wanted to see you smile one more time''she cried.

Puff:''No i want to stay with you i don't care if i become a zombie''

Sunflower:''Puff please i need you to back to the town and see your home again and grow up and make friends''she cried.

Puff:''No i want you there with me, teach me and help me''.

Sunflower:''Puff you don't need me anymore you're strong, you can do anything even without me please you have to go back''she cried.

Puff:*starts crying even more*.

Sunflower:*touches puff*''Puff you're the only little boy i ever loved, you're cute and strong''she cried.

Puff:''No you always told me to be with you''he cried.

Sunflower:''Please''*more tears came out of her eyes*''You have to listen to me right now''she cried.

Puff:''Please..........i..........i......don't want to''he cried.

Sunflower:''Puff I'm gonna ask you to do one last thing for me, i need you to live for me, Live for me Puff Please''she cried.

Puff:''No....i don't want to stay goodbye''he cried.

Sunflower:''You have to''she cried.

Puff:*he couldn't speak because he was crying for too much*.

Sunflower:''Puff Please Be a good boy''she cried.

Puff:''O-okay fine......''he cried.

Sunflower:*touches puff one last time and smiled with tears in her eyes*''I gonna miss you so much''she cried.

Puff:''Me too''he cried.

Sunflower:''Promise me you will always be strong''she cried.

Puff:''I.....I will''

Sunflower:*smiles at puff and slowly closing her eyes*.

Puff:*More and more tears came out from his eyes*''Goodbye sunflower i will always remember you i'll never forget you''

A few days later.

Dusk:''Hey puff you doing okay?''

Puff:''Yeah i'm fine i just don't know when this city will be finished building''.

Dusk:''Aw come on little guy you know it would take long right?''

Puff:''Yeah i just wished sunflower could see the city finished building''

Dusk:''She told me the same thing puff don't worry about it, she always talked to me about it''

Puff:''Yeah i guess we all wanted to anyways''

Nightshade:''Come on you two i think we should check on violet now''

Dusk:''What is she doing?''

Nightshade:''I don't know i think she's making friends''

Dusk:''Wow i never seen violet being okay around new people before but we can finally see the typical violet''

Nightshade:''Yeah, i think so''

Marky then runs to puff and licks him.

Puff:''Ahaha...Hey boy!, you excited to play fetch?''

Dusk:*sighed*''I just like to see the good old kids playing with their pet dogs''

Nightshade:''Well how are you suppose to play fetch if you don't have a ball with you?''

Dusk:''Don't worry i found a ball right here''*gives to puff*.

Puff:''Hey thanks, Alright Mark mark fetch!''he laughed.

Dusk:''Really, Mark mark?''

Nightshade:''Hey don't mind him dusk he's just being himself''

Dusk:''Haha....What a cutie''

Puff:*gets the ball that Marky catches for him*''Oh good boy!''

Dusk:''You know we should get going, we'll see you around''

Puff:''Alright then''

Marky:*makes sad puppy noises*.

Puff:''Yeah what is it Mark?''

Marky:*More sad puppy noises*.

Puff:''Oh right, i'm sorry about Jake he doesn't deserve to die, i know you missed him too''*pets Marky*''Alright i'm gonna go walk around for a sec you coming?''.

Marky:*barks out loud as a yes*.

Puff:''Alright come on''

Sunflower:''Whatcha doing there kiddo?''*walks to puff*.

Puff:*runs to sunflower and hugged her*.

Sunflower:''Whoa careful there''.

Puff:''Hey sun me and Marky are just walking out here and i'm glad you're okay''

Sunflower:''Ha...Of course kiddo''.

Puff:''I think we should find a seat it would be easier''

Sunflower:''Yeah i think so''

Sunflower, Puff and Marky finds a place to sit.

Sunflower:''There, you feeling comfortable?''

Puff:''I'm already comfortable''

Sunflower:''of course it is''she smiled.

Puff:''*smiled but later sunflower looked like she was thinking about something*''Hey sun what's wrong?''

Sunflower:''Oh it's just....''

Puff:'''Just what?''

Sunflower:''Well you know when we were back near the river, i was surprised you found a bottle of vaccine flowing the river and luckily you kept a syringe with you this whole time''

Puff:''I didn't know the vaccine was going to help you or not, i was so afraid i would lost you''

Sunflower:''Well you tried and you got me out alive!, i'm always proud of you puff thanks for not giving up on me''

Puff:''And thanks for taking care of me''

Sunflower:''If you had listened to me earlier, i'd be dead and become a zombie, a soulless infected creature that's gonna eat the living being''

Puff:''Well you don't have to''

Repeater:''Hey guys what are you guys talking about here?''

Puff:''Oh just Shit stuff''

Repeater:''I'm so glad you're okay sunflower we all really mean it''

Sunflower:''Thanks guys''

Repeater:''You're lucky i accidently dropped one the vaccines in the river''

Sunflower:''No wonder where did it came from''

Puff:''Okay''

Sunflower:''Hey puff do you want to know something?''

Puff:''Yeah what is it?''

Sunflower:''Everytime when i was taking care of you i never knew anything about responsibility, I just kept going and going, I tried so hard just to keep you safe, anything what were gonna do i never expect it to be that way, i took care of you when i was 7 and now i guess you finally learned how to fight back, how to take care of yourself''

Puff:''Well thanks for everything you have given me''

Sunflower:''You're welcome for everything''

Repeater:''Here kiddo i think you would love this''

Puff:''What is that?''

Sunflower:''It's called a swing''

Puff:''What do i do with it?''

Sunflower:''Well let's find out''

Puff:*sits on the swing*.

Sunflower:''Alright hold on to the bars''*pushes puff on a swing*.

Puff:''Haha....This is so fun!''he laughed.

Sunflower:''Of course it is''

Puff:''Come on sun push me higher''

Sunflower:''Sorry kiddo can't push you too hard''

Puff:''Why not?''

Sunflower:''It's not safe accident happens''

Puff:''Oh come on it won't happen''

Sunflower:''Wait until i'll push you off the swing and you'll find out''

Puff:''Okay''

Dusk:''Hey sun''

Puff and sunflower:''Hey dusk''

Dusk:''We were preparing for more cities right now, you wanna come little guy?''

Puff:''Yeah i want to''

Dusk:''Sun you coming?''

Sunflower:''No thanks''

Sunflower was sitting on a roof watching the sunset, she finally felt the warm and calmness inside her body, Peashooter walked to sunflower without saying anything and he was smiling at her, Sunflower smiled back and stood up, she walked near peashooter without saying anything then they both hugged each other tightly.

Sunflower:''I...................i love you pea''

Peashooter:''Yeah me too''
