Surprise Epilogue

I laugh, holding my stomach as Johnny finishes the joke he told me. Tears are running from my eyes.

"You okay?" He asks, chuckling. He looks at me from across the round dinner table, wine glass in hand.

I nod, breathing heavily, "Just laughing my butt off at you." I say, leaning back in my chair.

My eyes focus on him as he takes a sip of wine, a massive grin on his face. He has a red button-up shirt on, a few buttons at the top undone, with beige pants, and black boots. His hair, that was gelled back, is now messy from the wind. I then watch the skyline, as we are on the very top of their home building. 

Johnny said he had wanted to surprise me with something— I was shocked when he flew me out here, landing softly, to see a round table, decorated with a white table cloth, candles(which are now blown out from the wind) and a delicious dinner that Ben, Susan and Reed made.

He had talked for weeks about us going on a date, someplace special, he had said. It hadn't happened for a while, due to him being one of the world's protectors, but he kept true to his word.

"What?" He asks, smirking at me.

"Nothing." I say, blushing. Is squeeze my thighs together.

His baby blue eyes stare at me, a smirk on his face. We are then interrupted by his watch beeping. He groans, throwing his hands up.

"Can't even have a datenight, can I?" He frowns at his watch, clicking it.

I then see smoke off to my left. I stare at him wide eyed, "Johnny."

He groans, "Yeah. Babe, I am so sorry." He gets up from his chair and I stand, too. He rounds the table and I can't help but admire him as he walks up to me. I feel my skin flush hotly. He catches my eye and smirks.

"What?" He asks, wriggling his brows.

"You're just... so attractive." I mumble.

We then hear an explosion and I wince. Johnny turns back to me, squinting, "You compliment my looks, now?" I see his ears have gone red. Oh.

I put my arms around his neck, "Yes. I am." I whisper.

He groans audibly, before pulling me into a firey kiss. His lips literally are hot against mine as he kisses me, pulling me closer by the waist. I run my hands through his hair, making him groan into my mouth.

He pulls away, breathless, "I should go, and you're making this very difficult, madam." He says, voice dangerously low.

I blush as I stare up at him, "Oops." I say, biting my lip.

He throws his head back and sighs heavily. He looks to me again, "You are going to be the death of me, Y/n."

He sighs, pulling me into a smothering kiss again, pulling me even closer if that was possible. His watch beeps again.

He pulls away, "Ah! I know! Reed is going to lecture me so badly..." He murmurs.

I chuckle, "Then go." I say.

He nods, pecking me on the lips softly, "Stay safe, yeah?"

"Yeah." I nod.

"I love you." He murmurs, putting his forehead to mine.

I smile, "I love you, too."

He kisses me again, before pulling away. He turns, but mid-step turns around again. He cups my face, pulling me in again, and kissing me hard on the mouth hotly. I moan into his mouth, gripping at his shirt.

He pulls away, "You should get going." I say.

He groans, "But baby! I want to keep kissing you!" He exclaims.

I laugh, "You can, when you come back." I say.

He smiles, "You'll be here when I come back?"

I nod, "Always." I say.

He pecks me again, before turning, his whole body going aflame as he jumps, soaring into the sky. I watch as he does a few impressive backflips and twists in the air.

I gasp as I read "I Love You" in the blue sky.
