Covered in blood, Izzy sat down to try and figure out what he was going to do. 'I need to cover this up somehow.' he thought. 'How would I make this look like an accident? Make it look like a suicide? Nah, too risky they'd figure it out. Bury her in the woods? The backyard? No, they'd find her. Throw her in a lake somewhere? Her they'd find her there too.'

Izzy sat on his couch for what felt like hours trying to figure out how to cover this up until he eventually considered not even trying to get away with it at all. 'I could claim self defense, she was crazy. Hell, I could just admit I killed her because I was sick of her. Maybe at least then people would finally know who I am.' As he genuinely considered not even trying to get away with it, the solution finally came to him. He'd take her back to her house and burn her house; it would look like she died in a house fire. Her body would be burnt, so they wouldn't be able to tell what really happened. 'Then again,' he thought, 'Mikayla did have a point. I am the quiet one that nobody pays attention to. Who would suspect a guy that nobody knows?'

After he got his plan figured out, Izzy grabbed the big box that had been sitting in the corner of his living room from when he bought a new coffee table. He got Mikayla and put her body in the box and closed it.

Grabbing some bleach and a towel, he started cleaning up the wall and the floor. Once her was done, he threw the bloody clothes in the wash along with the towel and went to the bathroom to quickly wash himself up.

Once he got some new clothes on, he loaded the box into the trunk of his car and drove to Mikayla's house. By this point, he'd sobered up just enough to do what he needed.

When he got there, he carried the box in and went to her bedroom. He put her on her bed and left the box in the floor. He got a bottle of vodka from the kitchen and poured it around the room. Grabbing the box of matches from his pocket, he lit a match and threw it on the bed and watched as the room lit up in flames. He walked out, got in his car and drove back home.

As Izzy was sitting on the couch, trying to forget about what he'd done, the doorbell rang. He got up to get the door, and when he opened it, it was Samara. "Oh, hey! Have a good day at work?" he asked."It was alright. Made some good tips, had a guy throw up on me, the usual." she answered as she sat her purse down and walked to the fridge. "What have you been doing all day?" "Sitting around, drinking, watching tv, the usual. Steven and Duff came over with Nikki and we talked for a while until they went out.""Who's Duff? And Nikki?" she asked, grabbing a coke from the refrigerator."Oh, Duff's our bass player. Nikki's a friend from another band, MΓΆtley CrΓΌe." he explained."Oh, okay. You'll have to let me meet them some day.""Maybe." he said."It smells like bleach in here." she said, sitting down on the couch beside Izzy."I've been cleaning." he replied blankly."Huh.." she nodded as she looked around.

The two of them sat and talked for about 20 minutes before Samara decided to go to bed. "Alright, well I'm pretty worn out, long day at work. I'm gonna head to sleep." she told him. "Okay, go ahead. I'll be up soon." he replied.

After laying in bed all night, eyes wide open, lost in his own mind, Izzy got no sleep. He didn't realize that the entire night had gone right by him until Samara got up and started getting ready and he looked at the clock to see that it was 8 in the morning.

With his mind too busy to relax and go to sleep, he got up along with her. "Oh, I didn't know you were up. Good morning." Samara said as she brushed her hair."Morning." he said unenthusiastically as he put on a pair of leather pants. Without saying another word, he walked downstairs to the kitchen.

Still lost in thought, sleepless, and drowsy, Izzy made some coffee and sat down at the kitchen table. "My head is killing me." Samara said as she walked down the stairs before walking into the kitchen. "You got any Tylenol?" she asked Izzy."Top cabinet beside the fridge." he answered blankly."Well you're in a cheery mood." she replied sarcastically as she opened the cabinet and grabbed the medicine bottle."Sorry. I just didn't sleep at all last night." he told her."Why not? Oh my god, was I snoring?" she asked him."No." he reassured her with a smile. "I just couldn't fall asleep, I guess." he shrugged before taking a sip of coffee."Well I don't go to work until 3 today;" she started as she sat down at the table with Izzy, "we could just go back to bed. I have time." she said with a grin. Izzy raised his eyebrows. "Yeah, I think I'm just gonna take a nap. Wake me up in a couple hours." he said."Alright, fine. Just leave me here, all by myself, bored and sad."Β  she joked."Yeah, yeah, watch Full House or something." he said with a small laugh as he made his way up the stairs.
