You could take me to Neverland, babyWe could live off of magic and maybes

————————————————————

Dear Diary,

Yes I'm doing this shit again. Writing my thoughts and feelings down in a journal. It's pathetic but it's helping, my mom was the one who recommended it. She likes writing, she keeps her diaries on a shelf, they date back years. I've read them before, her hand writing is very loopy, fancy. Me, I write slow, big and spacious letters. If my writing looks messy or one letter doesn't look right to me, I get so stressed I scribble it out, but then the scribbles make me stressed, so then I rip the whole page out, which makes me stressed because now I have one page less. It's stupid, I know.

Amerie closed her diary and sighed, why was writing about feelings so draining.

"Amerie!" Taylor called out.

"Yeah?" Amerie replied

"Come get your shoes on, remember hat, coat, mittens, scarf. Even though it January it's still winter and it's snowing." Taylor said

Fun, snow just what Amerie needed. She was sure it was going to ruin her day at the bookstore, hopefully the crisp smell of books could restore her joy.

Amerie was all bundled up in her coat, scarf and mittens. Taylor placing the hat on her head and a pair of earmuffs

"I feel like a marshmallow" Amerie huffed

"It will keep you warm, your coat isn't even that thick." Taylor said

"We good to go, the snow isn't deep. Greg said the car can take it." Travis said

"Yeah we can go" Taylor nodded.

The three Swift-Kelce's walked out to the car trudging on snow.

"I hate snow" Amerie sighed

"I love snow. The best thing about growing up on a Christmas tree farm was the snow, something about it made things so magical. I used to love playing in the snow." Taylor smiled opening the car door for Amerie.

The book store actually wasn't too far, they were soon there. It was in small tucked away area.

"I can already smell the books, god I love books" Amerie smiled

"What books are you thinking on buying?" Taylor asked

"I'm not sure, I already have every single geek girl book so I can check that off of my collection. I think I want some like it cold by Elle McNicoll and maybe all of the pumpkin spice cafe series." Amerie said

"Hopefully they have them" Taylor smiled

The three stepped into the book store.

"I've also always wanted to read the yellow wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman" Amerie said

"That's a good choice, I remember reading that in school, well it was the school library" Taylor said

"I don't think I remember any of the books o read in school." Travis said

"I've never even seen you read a book" Amerie said

"I do read. I just read Wattpad" Travis said

"You read Wattpad!?" Amerie chuckled

"Yes, I read fanfiction" Travis said

"Like what?" Taylor asked

"That will remain a secret" Travis smiled

"Right. Half of Wattpad is full of smut and the most unrealistic stories ever. There's loads of weird adoption stories. I've read a few, a lot of grey's anatomy ones." Amerie said

Amerie ran her fingers across the bookshelves picking up books that interested her, reading the blurb and the first page seeing if it fit her vibe.

"That's a lot of books" Travis said

"I'm a book collector I aim to have every single book ever published one day. I have a massive checklist I always bring when I go book shopping." Amerie smiled placing more books in Travis' hands.

"Are you sure you are going to read these, your book shelf is almost full" Taylor said

"The books on the shelves aren't even all my books, I have more in boxes under my bed. I just need another shelf. I also have more books in my closet." Amerie said

"Woah. I've never known a person with that many books." Travis said

"I think that's enough books yeah, you found the ones you wanted and came for." Taylor said

"Can I buy the whole store?" Amerie said

"No, we can come back once you've read these." Taylor said

"So in a week?" Amerie asked

"A week? You sure you don't need a year?" Travis asked

"No." Amerie replied

"She's a fast reader, she will literally read a full book or two in a day, then will proceed to write an essay on the book" Taylor said

"That's interesting." Travis said

"I've been doing it since I first started to read" Amerie smiled

"She's been reading since she was 2, my little book nerd." Taylor smiled pulling Amerie into a hug
