Amerie quickly swallowed the morning after pill, her Mom had her hand on Amerie's back comforting her.

"What if I was actually pregnant?" Amerie questioned

"Then this pill stops it from developing further" Taylor said kissing Amerie on the forehead.

"So it's over" Amerie asked.

"You might have a heavy period for a few days, but it's okay just rest up and lots of hugs" Taylor said hugging Amerie closely.

"What now?" Amerie asked.

"We get on with our day, unless you want to talk to me about it, well really I should be talking to you about safe sex" Taylor said.

"We used a condom, but it broke, Riley said he rushed putting the condom on" Amerie said.

"Well I think that's a conversation for Riley and his parents to have, you did everything right. So how was it??" Taylor chuckled.

"Mommm... stop. For the record it was good" Amerie chuckled.

"I'm glad, but now you're sexually active there will be more regular doctor appointments, STD testing, the pill as well" Taylor said.

"I don't want sex ever again not after that" Amerie said.

"Oh trust me, you will definitely have sex again soon" Taylor chuckled.

"Okay, stop this is a disgusting conversation" Amerie sighed.

"Nothing wrong with talking about sex!" Taylor chuckled.

"Stop it, stop it, stop it, ew ew ew" Amerie mumbled.

"Alright I'm stopping" Taylor chuckled.

"Thank god" Amerie thanked.

"You wanna eat out for breakfast, we could go to a breakfast restaurant there are some good ones around" Taylor suggested.

"Sure" Amerie nodded.

Travis was at football training camp, and soon would be starting games again, so it was just Amerie and Taylor.

"Well, go get changed into something nice" Taylor said.

Amerie headed to her bedroom reaching for a simple navy blue sweater dress with some black tights.

Amerie threw her hair up into a bun that was stylish but also effortless and sleek, her hair was curled which made the bun have an adorable touch to it.

"You look cute, the hair is adorable" Taylor said complimenting Amerie as she walked to the front door of the house.

"Thank you" Amerie smiled being lead out of the house by her Mom.

Stepping into the car, Taylor deciding to drive. The paparazzi wasn't as bad in KC as it was in New York, they didn't swarm outside her house here in KC.

Amerie joined her Mom in the front passenger seat, clutching onto her small black purse.

"I'm not sure how to get to this place, I just know it's in a rather quiet area, and it's a rather small place but the reviews are great" Taylor smiled typing the address into Google maps.

"Sounds good" Amerie smiled.

"I'm honestly excited, Travis says it's really great, his whole family do" Taylor smiles while driving carefully.

Taylor turns the radio on, a familiar voice starts to play.

"WAIT?? It's my song! Oh my gosh, Mom it's Shadows Lurking, I've never heard it on the radio, I didn't even think that would ever happen" Amerie squealed.

"I'm so proud of you baby" Taylor smiled.

Amerie quickly checking her spotify account she gasped.

"What in the world, Shadows Lurking passed 100,000 streams on Spotify, that's good right?" Amerie asked.

"WHAT! That is VERY good, I'm extremely proud of you" Taylor smiled.

The rest of the car ride was filled with singing each other's songs, giggling away and gossiping.

Pulling into a small car park they had arrived at the small cafe.

"This place is cute, very cozy" Taylor said stepping out of the car with Amerie.

The two Swifts walked into the cafe, the inside was decorated beautifully. Filled with many pastel colours, pictures of cats and other animals.

"This may just be my new favourite place" Taylor chuckled sitting down at one of the paw shaped tables.

Small menus were set out on the tables, Taylor grabbed the menu and looked over it.

"What would you like Amerie?" Taylor asked taking out her purse.

"Just the buttermilk pancakes with blueberries, chocolate chips and syrup please" Amerie smiled.

"That sounds amazing! Do you want fresh orange juice?" Taylor asked.

"Of course" Amerie nodded.

"I think I'm going to have their avocado toast and of course an orange juice" Taylor said getting up and grabbing her purse to order.

Amerie scrolled through her phone watching TikTok and commenting on a few posts.

Taylor sat back down smiling at Amerie."What are you watching?" Taylor asked curiously.

"Just some TikToks" Amerie replied.

"Anything interesting" Taylor asked

"Just a lot of Grey's Anatomy edits" Amerie chuckled

"Ooo let me see" Taylor said.

Amerie handed the phone to her Mom.

Taylor scrolled and her eyes immediately lit up.

"This one has me and Jessica Capshaw this the most cutest edit I've ever seen" Taylor smiled, sending it to herself by Amerie's phone.

Taylor passed Amerie her phone and quickly opened TikTok reposting and commenting on the TikTok she just watched.

"Here's your order" The cafe waitress said.

"Thank you this looks delicious" Taylor smiled.

"You're welcome" The waitress said leaving the table to clean up other tables.

"This is delicious, Amerie you should try some" Taylor offered.

"No.. I'm good with my pancakes" Amerie said cutting into her pancakes.

"You're just missing out on this goodness" Taylor chuckled taking another bite of her avocado toast.

"I hate avocado with all my heart" Amerie said with a disgusted look.

"You've never tried it" Taylor chuckled.

"It's green and it smells and it's mushy and just looks gross" Amerie said shrugging her shoulders.

"Sureee, but it's yummy" Taylor rolled her eyes.
