Chapter 12

I was reading the last chapter and I realized there were like 100000 mistakes, so sorry bout that :p

CAMILA'S POV

That was close. Lauren reached for my hand under the table and I felt my palms sweating like crazy. I started blushing so I looked down and started eating my spaghetti. "So who are your favorite artists?" Lauren's dad asked trying to break the ice. "I really love Demi Lovato, Ed Sheeran, and One Direction" I said. "I love Demi Lovato too!!" Taylor practically yelled. Lauren laughed and said "Taylor loves Demi, she calls herself a "Lovatic" she said. "Don't pledge the floors" I said winking at her as we both burst out laughing. The rest of the Jaureguis looked at us with confused faces. I tried to be serious and said "I just think she's really inspirational and she has helped me get through some of my...issues" I said as I tugged in my sweater'a sleeve. I think I could go for hours talking about her.

LAUREN'S POV

After Camila left I went up to my room and looked through tumblr. More quotes. "Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind" there are so many quotes on here. "We accept the love we think we deserve" a while later I heard a knock on my door. "Who is it?" I yelled from my bed. "Your favorite Lovatic" she yelled. "Come in, Taylor" I said laughing. She closed the door behind her as she stepped in. "So what's going on with you and Camila?" She asked with a smile. "What do you mean?" I questioned back. Two can play this game. "Lauren..I saw you two holding hands." She said. "Maybe I should just tell her" I thought to myself, but I decided to push it a bit further. "She's jus a really close friend" I said a bit shakily. "You've known her for 3 weeks" she pressed on. "And just so you know I'm okay with it, and I won't tell anyone." She said. "How did you know?" I asked "you guys were holding hands under the table and the day she visited you at the hospital she put a winky face on your cast" she said. I looked down at my cast and remembered that day. "Really? That's how you found out?" I asked a bit incredulously. "Winky faces add a whole new meaning to things" she said giggling. "I think I can accept you dating a fellow Lovatic" she walked out after saying this. "Thanks, Tay" I said. Later that night I got a text from Camz.

C: Night LoLo ;)

L: Sleep tight Camz

"Taylor was right...winky faces do add a new meaning to things" I thought to myself as I silently laughed and went to bed.

CAMILA'S POV

I woke up and went down to eat breakfast after taking a shower. When I was done eating my waffles I ran upstairs to do my make up. I looked carefully in the mirror as I did my eyeliner. "Where's my concealer?!?" i thought. I ran to the bathroom looking for it. A couple minutes later I remembered I had put it in my purse. I took it out and gently applied some on my wrist to cover up the cuts and then put some bracelets over them. I had decided that I would tell Lauren today. I'd hate for her to find out any other way. I had made up my mind, I was going to tell her today after school.
