Chapter 10

CAMILA'S POV

"I AM LAUREN JAUREGUI'S GIRLFRIEND" I kept telling myself during 6th period, and I still couldn't believe it. How could someone as perfect as her ever like me?!? I sat there waiting impatiently for the bell to ring. I couldn't wait to talk to my "girlfriend." An eternity later, the bell finally rang. I rushed outside to find Lauren standing by the door with a huge smile on her face. As I got closer I heard her whisper,"I'd hold your hand, but I need both of them to use my crutches." I looked at her and blushed. I don't deserve this perfect human being. I hope she still likes me when she finds out.

LAUREN'S POV

Camila is just so amazing, and the way she always blushes is so cute. We started walking home but after about 2 minutes I got tired. Being on crutches is not easy. Camila looked at me a little worried and said "Do you want a piggy back ride?" Is she joking? My cast alone weighs like 10000 pounds. She stood there waiting for an answer. "Ok" I said smiling. She stood in front of me and I jumped with my good leg. I felt her hand wrap around my thigh. This girl is stronger than I thought. We were about ten steps away from my house when she put me down. "Do you wanna have dinner with us tonight?" I asked her. "Uhm...I-I, sure." She looked a little nervous. "Don't worry, my family will love you." I said. She smiled at me and said, "I'm gonna go get a sweater first." I waved at her as she walked towards her house. I walked in and ask my mom if a friend could come over for dinner. "Who?" My mom asked. "Camila, the girl who visited me at the hospital." Sure, I'd love to meet her!" My mom said. "So Camila is coming over for dinner?" Chris said with a smirk. I gave him a stare and prayed that it would be enough to keep him from telling my parents what he saw.
