"Knock knock!" Taehyung said as he knocked on the door. Jimin surpridedly opened the door. "Hey you're back already!" "Yeah, now come on, I got a surprise for you!" Taehyung smiled. Jimin nodded and followed the younger back to their shared hotel room.

Taehyung opened the door and Jimin was wow'ed with the beautiful decorations, and could barely bring out a word. "I... this is...," is all Jimin could say. Taehyung laughed and looked at his phone. He only had 2 minutes until midnight. He had set an alarm so he could ask Jimin exactly on his birthday.

Taehyung thought back to the day they kissed on Jimins bed. He thought back to the big fight they had about it. He remebered himself calling it a mistake, and look at them now.

Flashback

"Taehyungie...," Jimin said as he lowered his voice, "our kiss..." he started, but Taehyung cutted him off.

"It never happened," he said coldly. Jimin's soft expression turned into a sad one. It hurt Taehyung, but he had to do this.

"What do you me-" "It never happened Jimin." Jimin stared at him. He couldn't believe what he was saying. "It was just a mistake, Jimin, i'm sorry." "You can't tell me you didn't feel anything!"

End of flashback

Taehyung didn't want an annoying sound ruining their moment so he chose the song Serendipity, which is Jimin's solo song from the Love Yourself: Her album. It was his favourite song at this moment too.

Taehyung put his phone on the table. "What is this?" Jimin could finally say when he had seen everything. He had the biggest smile on his face. "This, my darling, is one of your birthday presents, the most important one, and hopefully the one you love the most!" Taehyung laughed as he kneeled.

The moment when he finally told Jimin he liked him popped up in his head too, the way Jimin had looked at him made him smile so widely.

Flashback

"I like you".

Jimin held his breath for a second. Did he hear that correctly? "T-Taehyung..."

"No, Jimin, I am serious. I really like you. Since our kiss all I could think about was you. I didn't tell you about my feelings because I thought it would be the best thing because of the fans and... Gay people aren't really accepted easily, especially because we are idols. But... I couldn't stand it anymore. I love you Jimin, I just want to be able to kiss you and hold you and do everything with you that couples do..."

Jimin was shocked. He felt himself tear up. "But you... lied about that? Why? You could've just told me... We don't have to tell anyone," Jimin said nervously. "Do you forgive me for it?" Taehyung said while pouting. "Of course, Taetae, I love you too," he grinned.

End flashback

And now he would tell Jimin how much he loved him and they would finally be together. Taehyung smiled as he saw the shocked look on Jimins face, his mouth dropped open.

"Oh no you did not just-" "You're leaking saliva baby," Taehyung laughed. Jimin covered his mouth with his hand, causing Taehyung to laugh even more.

One minute

"Alright sweetie, uhm, you know I love you and I will never find someone that is as understanding, sweet, kind, funny and beautiful as you are. You have always been there for me when I have hard times. You cry with me when I cry, you laugh with me when I laugh, and I'm so glad that special bond turned into true love," Taehyung said while grabbing the small box with the ring out of his pocket.

"Taehyung...," Jimin started, not knowing what to say or do. Taehyung slowly opened the box, and just in time with the alarm he spoke: "Will you please be my boyfriend?"

A clock outside called out the next day, Jimin's birthday. Jimin started to cry softly as he quickly nodded yes, and yelled over and over again. "Yes! Yes! Yes!"

Taehyung shove the ring on Jimins finger while standing up, and held him tight. "This must be the best birthday gift ever!" "I love you Jiminie, happy birthday."

Within 25 minutes or so the two boys found themselves making out on the bed. Taehyung had his long arm wrapped around Jimins small waist. "Fuck I love you so much... I think I'm ready."

Jimin looked up, eyes wide. "Here?" "We're in Amsterdam! We are officially together! It's your birthday! Why not?!" "Because we don't have any lube, nor we do have condoms," Jimin laughed. "Well we could buy them!" "It's almost half past 12, dude are you crazy?" "We are in Amsterdam though, there might be some stores open," Taehyung wriggled his eyebrows.

"Hm, I have a better idea." Taehyung frowned. "What's your idea?" "There's more than actual sex aye?" Taehyung laughed at Jimins cute 'aye'. "That sounded lowkey Australian," Taehyung grinned. "Yah!" Jimin yelled. "How do we get in the mood?" Taehyung asked. "You sound so. Goddamn. Pure. Stop that! You're so innocent!" Jimin laughed. "Ah, Jimin come on shut up and let me live for a second, thank you!" Taehyung yelled, causing Jimin to laugh harder. "How do we lift up the mood Tae? Come on, how do we usually lift up the mood?"

"Shall we drink something? Cheers on your birthday too? Aye?" Taehyung asked while wiggling his eyebrows. "Tae! We have a concert tomo- today!" Jimin laughed. "So? That's like... in 21 hours! The alcohol will be gone by then," Taehyung said with a cheeky look in his eyes. "You are bad influence."
