Chapter 5 :How Bad Can This Be?

{3 Years Later}

Clarys POV

It's been 3 years since I left the Institute and I have been good. I am stronger and I have grown up since then. I have dark red hair now and I only wear black, grey, and red. I am also the best female shadowhunter in our generation. Jason has called us into the library because he had something important to tell all of us I wonder what it is.

When I got there everyone was already there waiting for me. Then Jason started talking about how there is a bunch of demon activity in the United States and after that he started naming people and telling them where they had to go to to help the Institutes and that's when I heard what I didn't want to hear.

"Clary you will be going to the New York Institute because they have the most demon activity and you are the best shadowhunter in our generation."Jason said as I nodded in fear and a bit annoyed. So after the meeting was over I was told we all had to leave tonight at midnight.

So I went to my room and packed while thinking 'How bad can this be' and about how excited I am to be seeing Alce, Izzy and the rest of them. All except Jace because I forgave Magnus and made up with him so we are friends for now while I haven't talked or seen Jace in 3 years. This will be interesting.

Alecs POV

Maryse called all of us into the library saying it was important. So I wondered what it was about while getting ready. When I got there everyone other than Izzy, of course, was waiting for Izzy and I. My mother, Maryse, called the meeting because,

"We have to much demon activity for all of us to handle so I contacted help from the Institute of Australia and they are sending over their best shadowhunter she likes to go by Black Knight and is also the best female shadowhunter of our generation have you guys heard of her?"

"I heard of her but I don't know anything about her."I said confused.

"Well if you ask her tomorrow you might know things about her, that's all I had to say so you all can go back to your rooms but be at the center of the Institute by midnight.
