Chapter One: Coming Out
08:18, 19 August 2016Marks POV
Jack and I were sitting in my house and my couch just having a normal conversation. Chica was sleeping by the stairs, and it was raining outside, not particularly normal for California, but it does happen. My mind began to wander when Jack was talking to me. The way, Jack talks to me, how he acts around me. Is Jack maybe gay? Do he like me or something? As a bicurious man, it didn't bother me too much, it just gave me a feeling you can't explain.
"Mark?" I attention went back to Jack. I hope he didn't notice I was completely off in another world. "You weren't paying me any attention, haha," Damn.
I chuckled. "Anyways, you were saying?" Jack gave me and awkward smile and stared at me for a second. "Uh, yeah. So for the challenge video we were planning on doing, I was thinking maybe we could do the 'Dont laugh challenge'? If you're up for that," I smiled and nodded. Ohh, that 'Dont laugh challenge' I loved doing that challenge, especially with Ryan, Matt, and Wade.
I got out my phone and started scrolling through comments. I could see Jack staring at me in my peripheral vision. "Hey, Jack, have you seen all the comments on all our collaborations lately?" I showed him my phone. "Everyone keeps saying that septiplier is gonna be a real thing because we've been doing a lot of collabs and just because you moved in with me. I've told them that you only moved in because fans found your house, but, you know," Jack laughed and rolled his eyes. I loved his laughed. It was uplifting.
Jack's POV
"Speaking of septiplier, there's actually something I wanted to tell you," We were then interrupted by the sound of Chica whining at the patio door. "Oh, hold that thought. I think Chica needs to go outside. I'll be back in a few," I'm actually kind of glad Chica needed to go outside. It gave me more time to think about how I was going to tell Mark.
I heard the dog and Mark come back inside. They were both soaked from the rain. "Man, it's really pouring out there," Mark said.
Marks POV
I could see Jack's cheeks getting red. "You okay there, Jack?" He looked down. "Mark, there's something I really need to tell you, and I'm afraid you'll hate me afterwards, or that our relationship will just be really weird,"I didn't really know where he was going with this. I had an idea, but that was the last thing I thought would come out of Jack's mouth. "Jack, I'd never hate you. We've been best friends for years now,"
"Mark, I don't know how else to say this, so I'll just say it. Mark, I- really like you. Like- like like you. I know, hearing this as a straight guys is probably really weird, but-" Jack stopped. He looked away. I could tell he was very embarrassed. "Jack, I'm not straight,"
Jack looked back at me. "I'm bicurious, " Jack kept looking at me. "You no what? No. This is stupid," Jack said as he got up and tried to run upstairs to his room,"
I stopped him before he reached the top of the stairs. "Jack, you don't have to be embarrassed. I know how this must feel for you. I'm actually really proud of you for telling me. And, actually kinda of glad. If I were to try dating a guy, you'd be my first choice, Jack," His eyes widened as he looked down at me.
"Mark, w- will you, go out with me?"I paused for a moment. Jack was getting nervous. I nodded. "Yes,"
