Gyujin was angry. No, angry wasn't the right word for how he felt, he was fuming with fury.

How dare Seongjun forbid him to see the only person that made his heart beat faster with one simple look. How dare he make Yeorin fear him so much to shake like a leaf.

And now this jerk threatened her again. His words scared Yeorin so much, she scrambled away from their table the second Seongjun left.

He could only watch her run away with tears in her eyes, but the pressure of those words made him unable to stand up and run after her.

It has been a week and it was torturous for him. It was slow killing him in the inside.

Because deep down, he knew if Seongjun sees them together again, he'd hurt both of them again. He doesn't even want to imagine how, he just wished she'd look at him. Even if it's for a small glance.

He needs her to acknowledge him, he needs her to see him.

But she didn't. She couldn't.

She feared for both of their lives and safety. So, she kept her head down and avoided even looking at him. Whenever they saw each other in the halls, she turned around and ran to the other way.

He was even angry at thinking about this.

Seongjun found him again in the cafeteria, eating alone and did the same thing, dumping the food all over him like a cruel joke. It took him a long time to wash out the food from his hair, his school uniform was completely messed up, drenched in water as he tried to wash them out.

He grabbed his shirt and twisted it until all the water was falling down. In the distance he saw Yeongdong running with his usual errands for Seongjun.

The chubby boy suddenly tripped over, face planted on the ground with a whimper. Gyujin watched blankly as he slowly stood up and started running again.

Yeongdong soon arrived next to him on the stairs. The two stared at each other for a moment, having a complete conversation through their eyes before Yeongdong went on his way.

This needed to be stopped.

He couldn't let neither Yeorin, nor Yeongdong suffer.

It was the end of the day and Yeorin managed to successfully avoid Gyujin with a heavy heart.

She felt torn between her desire and Seongjun'a command. She felt devastated by the threat, not only because she was scared of what he would do to Gyujin but because she started to fall for the boy.

That's right, Moon Heorin fell for Gyujin.

It was fast. Unexpected yet expected since Gyujin became her safe place.

She felt incredibly comfortable and calm in his presence, he was easy to talk to, she felt safe and protected in his embrace. He felt like home.

But that feeling was destroyed by Seongjun and his stupid threat.

She let out a sad sigh and started walking out of school. She didn't get far though, her hair was pulled roughly by someone behind.

She yelled out in pain but the person behind her didn't let go. Yeorin gasped out when she was suddenly turned around only to be met by an angry looking Nayeon.

"Long time no see, Yeorin." Nayeon growled, her grip on the younger girl's hair didn't falter.

"N-Nayeon-ah." Yeorin whispered in shock.

"What? Surprised to see your only friend after you stabbed her in the back?" Nayeon growled.

"I-I didn't-"

"But you did." Nayeon scoffed. "How does it feel to be to live in my dream? Huh? It must be great. He cherishes you like a jewellery, like how I wanted to be treated. I hope you're happy now. Having the perfect boyfriend but no real friends."

Nayeon eyes darkened with each word she uttered, her grip on Yeorin's hair tightened as she spoke.

Yeorin couldn't believe what she was hearing.

Perfect boyfriend? Is that what Nayeon thought Seongjun was?

Treated like a jewellery? She means being violated occasionally, right?

None of what she said was true. Yeorin didn't say anything. She just listened Nayeon accuse her of something she never meant to happen.

"It all your fault." Yeorin whispered weakly.

"What? Did you say something?" Nayeon asked mockingly.

"I'm being raped all because of you." Yeorin said quietly but her eyes were wide with hatred.

Angry tears fell from her eyes while Nayeon rolled hers and let go of her hair.

"Don't be dramatic. Just remember how you threw away your only friend, and for what? Being a needy slut." Her words cut Yeorin deeper in the chest than she'd ever imagined.

Her only friend, the person she knew since they were children, she just couldn't believe her.

"You're a bitch." Yeorin muttered, tears streaming down her eyes now.

"I think we both now who the real bitch is here." Nayeon smirked.

"What did I ever do to you?" Yeorin asked, genuinely curious.

"You know exactly what you did." Nayeon lowly replied.

"No. I truly don't."

"Well-" Nayeon was clearly surprised by the soft tone Yeorin spoke. "You stole the boy I liked."

"No. I didn't stole anyone. He simply didn't want you, and now I'm suffering daily because of your love letter." Nayeon was visibly upset at the mention of the letter, as angry and frustrated she was, she stayed quiet and for the first time she didn't have any snaky reply.

"B-But-" Nayeon stuttered, trying to reason her but Yeorin cut her off.

"I truly hope you're going to grow up and realise how your stupid actions have consequences, even if they're not meant for you." The way Yeorin spoke really made Nayeon speechless.

"Have a great life. After you destroyed mine." With that, Yeorin turned away and started walking away, leaving Nayeon rethinking her words.

Her steps were weak and unsteady, her knees felt like giving out, she wanted nothing more than sob into her pillow at home.

But the universe wasn't on her side again.

She heard faint footsteps coming rapidly tower direction. Out of fear, she turned around, only to see the only person she's been trying to avoid all week.

Park Gyujin.
