They carried on down the path, before finding army people aiming their guns. They all put their hands up and slowly slowed down.

The army checked to see they were human and well, of course they were. So they took them back with them, starting off they gave them meals and then they took showers.

Tho they never saw anyone they knew, which meant they were the only survivors that made it out I guess.

A few months later.

Ike snuck out past a few people and walked around the back of a building, he carried on down. He reached the place he was heading where he had been going to for months.

Also where everyone else goes aswell, he grabbed the tied up sheets that Enna created, and he threw it over the wall, miss. He threw it again and succeeded.

He then climbed up the old wire gate and jumped over the wall. He stood up and walked for a little till he came across the tree everyone goes to and writes up notes and sticks them to each tree branch.

Then at the roots of the trees were all the snacks and extra gifts for the lost loved ones they all end, specifically for the friends they lost along the way.

Ike went to a specific note of his meant for Luca. He crouched down near the tree roots and placed all Luca's favourite snacks down.

He sighed and stood back up and noticed a orange light down at Hyosan, their school. He tilted his head checking if he was seeing right. He then came to a conclusion and decided to go back.

Morning came and Sykkuno was stuck holding a sign for people, Ike walked past and waved at Sykkuno and he waved back of course before going back in a gloomy mood.

Ike carried on searching in different tents trying to find a specific someone. No luck whatsoever, he then went around a corner and found Vox sitting down and leaning against a wall.

"Hey, Vox?" Ike asked.

"Huh? Oh hey! You're the only one I've seen so far" Vox said standing up.

"I need to talk with you" Ike mumbled.

"Alright?" Vox nodded.

They went to a more privated part.

"So..while I was out by the tree, you know our school?" Ike said.

"Mhm, why?" Vox asked.

"I think someone lit a campfire" Ike said.

"Oh? Okay?" Vox mumbled tilting his head.

"And from what I last remember from Shoto.." Ike mumbled.

"He wanted to have another campfire with everyone" Ike said reminding Vox.

"Wait- you think its Shoto?" Vox asked.

Ike nodded.

"Are you sure?" Vox asked.

"I'm positive" Ike nodded.

"So, I'm guessing were going over tonight?" Vox said.

Ike nodded again.

"Just- don't tell the others about this, okay?" Ike said.

"Oh- yup!" Vox nodded.

It was night time and Ike went back out around the back of the building to where he went last night, he turned the corner and was only expecting Vox.

Nope, he saw everyone which made him stop in his tracks.

"Uhh" Ike mumbled.

They all just awkwardly stared at him back.

"Vox, I told you not to tell anyone?" Ike scowled.

Vox gulped and looked over at Mysta before slowly leaning over to him.

"I told you not to tell anyone..?" Vox murmured.

Mysta quickly looked around then looked back at Shu.

"I said this was just between us!" Mysta said.

"Oh" Shu mumbled scratching the back of his head.

Ike sighed.

"Well it doesnt matter, were all here now" Elira shrugged.

They all then headed to the school. They made it there and they were on the 2nd floor looking around.

"God this place is a mess.." Uki said stepping away from glass.

"I agree" Aster said picking up a halfly burnt paper.

They carried on their way back up to the roof and made it up not long after. They then looked around and saw the campfire.

"Oh so it really was a campfire" Elira said as they all stood around it.

"What? Is it one of those youtubers checking out the gossip or sum" Sykkuno shrugged.

"Maybe it's a random person exploring!" Rosemi said.

"Mm..I dont know" Shu shrugged.

They all heard footsteps and they all turned behind them.

"Yous made it" a familiar voice called out.

"Class...President?" Elira asked.

"Eheh..am I still your class president?" Shoto chuckled looking down.

"Of course!" Minase nodded.

Sykkuno quickly ran and hugged him.

"Whyd you leave!" Sykkuno asked.

"I just had to..fix myself up" Shoto explained patting his back.

"I figured out that theres a lot more like me" Shoto said breaking the hug.

"Wait..half breeds?" Shu asked.

"Mhm" Shoto nodded.

Shoto was caught by surprise as Vox quickly hugged him, also taking Sykkuno by surprise since Vox basically pushed past  Sykkuno to get to Shoto.

"Oh and..I have something to show yous" Shoto said breaking the hug.

They watched as Shoto walked over to the edge and jumped off it Vox was about to dash to him but when Shoto came back up.

It surprised all of them.

A/n: yes, this is the last chapter (I say that now but I'll end up feeling bad for leaving it on a cliffhanger LMAO). Only because the show ended it like this so..why not?.

But uh, reason why I didnt add the Vox and Shoto kiss scene, was because I was suppose to add it somewhere else but I forgot.. so I genuinely apologize 😭.

And uh, yeah! I managed to finish this book before it hit September 1st 🥰🥰.

I'm wondering if I should start my angst ending in my other Shoto book or if I should just carry on with my new book, what would yous like better?.
