Chapter 10

"You don't have to worry about him. He's fine." I declare. Stefan doesn't look too certain. As we arrive at the shed, I use my power to uncover Damon. Stefan looks at me and tilts his head, making his way to Damon.

"Oh brother you're not going to believe what SHE did-" He gloats until he's stopped mid sentence. From the distance, I see Stefan punch Damon in the face. I jog closer only to smirk at Damon who's upper lip is bleeding.

"How could you do this to her?" Stefan asks, the anger practically seeping through him. "You're really sticking up for her?" Damon yells. "SHE NEARLY KILLED ME."

Stefan shakes his head in fury, "But she didn't. And that's what matters."

I know it's not appropriate, but who am I if not making everything about myself, "Not to mention you threatened my cat's life. The only form of family I have left."

Stefan looks at me unapologetically. I didn't lie, but I wasn't honest either.

I clear my throat, "So, do you guys want an explanation?"

Damon chuckles, "I think you owe us a bit more than an explanation." I roll my eyes.

"A demonstration you shall receive." I smirk, untying Damon from the tree using just my hands, my pupils turning purple.
