Part 6- Hunting and Talking

Clem P.O.V  I woke up to a knock on my door. Who would be up so early?I got up and out of my bed. I grabbed my hat which always lay on my night stand. I brushed off the top of it and placed it on top of my messy hair. I opened my door to see Louis walking off. He must have been the one who knocked. I grabbed his hand and pulled his into my bedroom. I locked the door behind us. "Explain,what do you want?", I said giving him a death glare. I didn't like to be bothered this early in the morning, especially when it was him. "Look..I-I..I just wanted to apologize for everything. I talked to Sophie and she completely understands. She's not staying here anymore because she has to go find someone. I get it if your still mad. I-I u-understand." I crossed my arms and my eyes meant his gaze. He gave me a sweet yet sad look. His chocolate brown eyes were filled with sadness. He had never been like this..never this sad..I felt sympathy for I was the reason he was sad.   I put my arms around him and pulled him into a hug. I couldn't believe what I had just done. I-I didn't mean to pull him into a hug yet I did. I knew I didn't want to forgive him,he hurt me yet some sort of feeling came to me and made me forgive him. Like he was fragile and I had to protect him at all costs. I pulled away from the embrace. Our faces though were awfully close. I could feel his hot breath on mine. Our noses were touching and we both leaned in until I could feel his lips against mine. We both pulled away from each others faces and just stared at one another in shock. Our eyes and hands meant. "I should really get doing. I have to going hunting with Aasim today.",he said. I nodded in agreement and went outside and into the greenhouse. I found the greenhouse very peaceful. No one bothered you in any sort of way and the only ones around were the plants. I sat down and thought about everything going on. Louis P.O.V I walked by Aasim with my weapon,Chairles. It's a Chair leg with old nails all around it. Aasim however held a bow and was awfully cranky (as usual). "We need to get the rabbits and get back. Hopefully you'll help me this time.",he gave me a glare. "Dude,what's your problem?" "MY problem???" "Yes, you Idoit.",I said rolling my eyes. He sighed and spit on the ground. "You have feelings for,Clem..don't you?", I was shocked by his question. "What? Pff n-no." I denied it again and again. "Dude, you fuckin loveee her! Have you not seen the way she looks at you and the way you look at her?" "Why do you have feelings for her?",I felt my blood boil as I clenched my fist. "Oh,someone's getting protective? And, no I don't have feelings for her. She's all yours." We spotted something caught in the traps we set up. We both stopped to listen for anything. I walked over to the trap and was shocked by what I found. "Aasim,come check this out!" He walked towards me and looked at the trap which was filled with rabbits. Several rabbits. "Finally,some luck!!", he said while he pulled out his knife and cut the rope of the trap which caused a bag of rabbits to fall to the ground. In the far distance I could see a small building. "Hey,Aasim I'm gonna go check out that building over there. If I find anything I'll let you know.", he nodded and I walked off towards the building. The building was so small it reminded me of one of those booths at amusement parks with all the controls for the ride in. I opened the blue door and walked into what was more of a booth than a building. I checked the shelves and found a few cans of food which I shoved into my pockets. There wasn't much here. I opened the drawer of a desk and found a small black box. "For my love,I hope I'll find you someday." I opened the box and inside was...a-a sliver diamond ring. I was......shocked. The ring had diamonds up and down it with one big diamond in the middle. I traced my fingers over the diamonds,wondering if I should take it or not. I closed the box and put the it into my coat pocket. I walked out of the booth and saw Aasim standing there,annoyed. "Find anything?" "Just a few cans of food,nothing i-in-interesting." "Are you sure? You seem really nervous." "Yeah,I'm sure."We walked back to the school together. I couldn't stop thinking about it. The ring.. I knew who I wanted to give it too but it was too soon to ask her. Wayyy too soon. But, I mean it's the apocalypse anything could happen. After what felt like hours of walking we were finally at the school gates. Clem P.O.V I sat on the floor of the greens house with Lyla. We talked about how embarrassing Louis is sometimes. I told her about all the times at the boarding school before she had found us. We were interrupted by a knock on the gates. I got up and ran outside to see who it was. Louis? I ran to the gate and unlocked it for Aasim and Louis to come in. I ran into Louis' arms and put my arms around him. "Hey, I've only been gone with a few hours.",he laughed. I noticed something square in his pocket. "What did you find?" "Oh nothing important." "Aasim, what is he hiding?" "Probably a box of c-.",he was cut off by Louis. "Aasim! No! Not that!" I giggled. I felt my cheeks turn red and so did Louis's. "It's not that I swear!",I continued to blush and so did he. "Louis,it's ok!" "I'll show you later ok?" "He'll show you later,Clem!",Aasim butted in. "God,Aasim no...just no.",Louis laughed a bit.I punched his shoulder lightly. "I'll see you later.",I said while walking off.
