Chapter 29

The day I got my cast off, I was so happy. I have to go to physio for a few weeks but I can walk again and I've never been happier. I hope my leg never gets broken again!

Later in the day I got a phone call from Zoe. She left a couple days ago so I wondered why she wanted to call. But then I remembered the whole Alfie and Sean and baby thing and I wondered if she'd asked him or chickened out and I nearly forgot about my phone until Holly said "are you gonna answer that?"

I hit the answer button."Oh Jess good, I thought you wouldn't answer!""Yeah sorry. So...??""I told him.. and.. well at first he was angry, then he was upset and I got upset and he thought I didn't love him but after a lot of apologies and reassurances, I think he calmed a bit and he said he still wants to be with me if I want to be with him and that we should go and get a test to see who's it is!"

"Oh Zoe, so you're still together?"

"Yes! Oh I'm so happy Jess!"

"So am I Zo!"

"Anyway, I gotta go, we're heading to the doctors now, I'll text you the results!"

As the call ended, mum came in looking sorrowful."Jess, we need to tell you something!"
