Chapter 18

After school, I hurry to my bedroom. I rush to get my makeup out and to get my straighteners out. They're coming, and i haven't seen them since we made that YouTube video a couple months back, so there will be photos. Photos viewed my millions of people. Which is why I'm making such an effort. And max and Harvey are going to meet them finally!When the time reaches three forty, I hear a knock on the door. I open it to reveal the Mills family. Sara is holding a present and Tilly has hold of the card. I lead them into the living room where Holly is sat talking to her best friend Nicola. Nicola came home with Holly straight from school because her mum had dropped off her outfit whilst she was at school. Tilly runs over and hands Holly the card, and then is dragged outside by Daisy. Sara hands over the present. Harvey has hold of the candles. He quickly passes them to mum and she takes them to the kitchen. Holly opens the present to reveal a perfume kit. She smiles."I feel ever so grown up!" She declares and we all laugh.Leo seems shy for some reason, hiding behind Sara's back, but when she heads into the garden to talk to mum, he tags along with us."What's up with you Leo?" Max asks."Nothing!""Are you sure?" I ask."Yeah!""Why are you hanging with us? Shouldn't you be hanging with the kids your own age?" Harvey declares.Leo blushes and then shakes his head. "I'd rather hang with you three""But everytime you hang at ours, you hang out with Holly. Have you fell out?" I ask."No it's not that! It's just...." his face turns betroot coloured and then he leans in and whispers, "I have a crush on Nicola!"Harvey starts laughing so I stand on his foot purposely."Owwww!" He screams."Why don't you play it cool? I'm sure if you tell Holly, then she can set you two up!" I say.He nervously heads out to the garden and towards Holly and Nicola.Suddenly there's another knock at the door. I look out of the window and then I squeal with excitement. Max gulps nervously so I grip his hand reassuringly and then all three of us run to the door. I pull it open. Joe shoves a camera in my face. I scream with shock. Everyone laughs. Then I run up to Zoe and give her a big hug. Joe switches off his vlogging camera and nods at the twins."Hello." He says.They both quietly mumble their hello back. Zoe and I begin to laugh."I bet you're not shy in real life!" She says."You're acting like Leo!" I say, and I set them off laughing. Zoe and joe look at me puzzled, but I just shake my head in a "don't ask" tone and continue laughing.We all head to the garden where Zoe takes out her vlogging camera."We're here! And I'm now joined with Jessie!!! And meet my new friends Max and Harvey." They wave at the camera.Later...All of the guests have arrived. Holly's friends screamed when they saw Zoella. The first half hour was spent taking loads of photos and talking to random ten year old girls. But soon everyone got used to the fact that Zoe was here, so we all begin party games, which Harvey and I are in charge of. Max starts playing the games with the kids, as does Joe. We laugh at them dance in musical statues and we giggle at them fighting over the last chair in musical chairs. Zoe is sat in conversation with mum and Sara, probably taking a break from all the children. The party food consists of little picky bits that we'd use our hands to pick up with.I sit on a table with Max, Harvey and Joe, whilst Zoe continues to talk to mum."I feel like such a kid!" Laughs joe as he pulls his vlogging camera out."So I'm sat on a kiddy bench with a bunch of 13 and 14 year olds. Isn't life being a YouTuber great?" He jokes and we all laugh. "On a serious note, I'm having a good.... ohhhhhhh ahhh get away!" He screams as a fly flies straight at him. Max then spits out cola everywhere as he laughs, and it spurts out of his nose. Joe then starts laughing. And this is all being filmed on the camera. Joe then ends and we all continue laughing. Zoe comes over to see what all the laughter is about. She starts laughing when she sees the coke everywhere.Zoe and joe are staying the weekend with us, and then on Monday, it's the camping trip. As I go inside to go to the toilet, I spot Leo and Nicola sat on the stairs talking. I smile to myself and enter the toilet. As I walk out, I see them kissing! Omg!!!!!!!
