Chapter 29: Let’s meet Dara

Days passed and I wasn’t able to communicate with GOT7. They’re busy for their practice. Mark still texts me every night but he never got a reply from me. I’m sorry Mark but I think it will be better this way.

The controversies about Baldwin have ended too. They finally stopped talking about it. I haven’t debuted but I’m already in to a lot of things. Will I be able to handle all this stuffs? -_-

Hey Rhianne! I’ll be on my way. See you! <3

 

I replied to Dara unnie’s text.

To: Dara unnie

 

Yes unnie! I’m on my way too. See you!

 

We’re going to meet today. Just for a few hours, I guess. We’ll just talk with some things.

I started walking down the building. Until I remembered, Chanyeol wants to meet Dara unnie. So I immediately texted him.

To: EXO Chanyeol

 

Chanyeol! Dara unnie and I will meet today at the restaurant in Gangnam. We’re on our way.

 

Chanyeol did not respond. It seems like he is busy with stuffs.

I just continued walking down until I saw Mark.

“Oh, you’re going somewhere?” he asked.

“Yeah, Dara unnie and I will meet today.” I said coldly.

“Are you fine? You’re not replying to my texts recently. Are you ignoring me?” he asked.

Yes. I am. I hope I can say that but I can’t.

“Oh, it’s just that I’m not on my mood to hold my phone recently. I’m sorry.” I said.

“Are you sure everything’s fine?” he said.

I just nodded.

“Okay fine. Just text me if you already meet.” he said.

I just nodded and continued walking.

It breaks my heart to ignore Mark. I don’t know but it kills me. I can’t. -_-

GOT7 Practice

“Okay kids. Let’s have a break.” JB said.

Jackson noticed that Mark is not on the mood today. Jackson tapped Mark’s back and talked to him.

“What happened? Why are you not on the mood?” Jackson asked.

“*sigh* I think Rhianne is starting to avoid me. After our trip in the Philippines, she didn’t talk to me anymore.” Mark said.

“Like if she sees you and you greeted her, she’ll just ignore you?” Jackson said.

“Not like that. Whenever I greet her, she greets back. But that’s all.” Mark said.

“Maybe she’s going through something.” Jackson said.

“But why won’t she tell me?” Mark asked.

“Because maybe, she doesn’t want other people to know what’s happening to her right now.” Jackson said.

Mark just frowned and just drank a bottle of water. “Maybe she’s still in love with Baldwin.”

“Mark hyung! Were you able to see Rhianne’s first love?” Jinyoung asked.

Mark just looked at Jinyoung.

“Yah, are you ignoring me?” Jinyoung said.

“Jinyoungiee, Mark’s not on the mood today. Let’s just leave him alone.” Jackson put his arms around Jinyoung’s shoulder and pulled him away from Mark.

Mark stayed at his position still thinking about what is happening between Rhianne and him.

Gangnam Restaurant

Finally, I arrived at the restaurant we’re going to meet. I texted Dara unnie.

To: Dara unnie

 

I’m here at the location. Are you already here?

 

Minutes later,

From: Dara unnie

 

I just arrived where are you?

 

I looked for her and saw her. She also saw me and we hugged each other. We took our place on the table at the corner.

“How long have you been staying here in Korea?” Dara unnie said.

“I guess, 3 months?” I said.

“Really? Then you’re going to debut already? Daebak! You’re so good.” she said.

“Uh, not really. JYP might just saw my passion for singing that’s why I’m going to debut early.” I said.

“How’s the Philippines?” she asked.

“A typhoon just entered the Philippines. I have no news with them now. My mom hasn’t contacted me for days.” I said.

“Oh really? I hope they’re fine.” Dara unnie said.

We ordered some food and we were able to have some conversations. She really is a good talker. She has a lot of topics in mind.

“Do you have a boyfriend?” she asked.

Mark suddenly entered my mind. He’s not your boyfriend Rhianne!

“Ah, none. I don’t have.” I said.

“Really? But it’s better. At least you can focus on your career.” she said.

“Yeah. That’s why I’m here. I want to fulfill my dreams.” I said.

“But don’t misunderstand what I said. You can still have a boyfriend but make sure you focus on what’s more important.” she said.

“Thank you for the advice unnie.” I said.

We continued eating.

“Unnie, why you still don’t have a boyfriend?” I asked her.

“Walang nagkamali. Hahaha.” she said. (“No one dared.”)

“Awww. I don’t believe you.” I said.

“It’s not yet time. There are things that I still need to do and I guess when the right time comes, I’ll grab it.” she said.

I think I should wait for the right time.

“You’re right.” I said.

We talked and talked.

“Oh by the way, JYP have the One Mic Concert tomorrow right?” she said.

“Yes. I am not included there yet but I’m excited to see it.” I said.

She looked at her phone.

“Oh, it’s already 1pm. I gotta go.” she said.

I didn’t imagine that we talked for almost 2 hours.

“Oh, yeah. Thank you for the time unnie!” I said.

“Thank you for the time too. See you again soon.” she said.

We took a picture together and then we went back to our dorms.

I opened my IG account and saw Dara unnie tagged me our photo with a caption saying,

“Thank you for the time @thisisRhianne Let’s meet again soon! <3”

I liked that photo.

Dara unnie is so kind.

GOT7’s Practice room

Mark is still looking at his phone.

“Rhianne told me that she’s going to text me the moment she arrived there. But there’s no text until now.” Mark told himself.

“Mark! It’s our time!” Jackson shouted.

They started practicing again for tomorrow’s event. After practicing,

“Mark oppa, I can see that you’re not on your mood today. Why? Did something happen?” Yerin asked.

“That’s also my question Yerin, did something happen.” Mark said then he left the practice room.

15&’s dorm

I have finally arrived at the dorms. I checked my phone.

From: EXO Chanyeol

 

Yah. I didn’t read your message earlier. I was so busy. Are you still with her? -_-

 

Chanyeol is disappointed.

To: EXO Chanyeol

 

I’m not with her anymore. Aww. Too bad. There’s still next time, don’t worry.

 

Minutes later, he replied again.

From: EXO Chanyeol

 

Huhuhu. :’(

 

I can’t stop from laughing. Chanyeol is really a fanboy of Dara unnie. I know what he feels.

Suddenly, I heard someone knocking from the door.

*knock* *knock*

I went to the door and opened it.

“Mark?” I said.

“Why didn’t you text me?” he said.

Oh yeah. I forgot to text him. -_- Awww.

I smiled at him, “Awww. I forgot. I was too mesmerized with Dara unnie’s beauty. I’m sorry Mark hyung.”

He just stared at me. I know he’s mad.

“I told you I’m sorry.” I said seriously.

He just continued to stare at me. I know he’s mad and it’s breaking my heart. But what should I do Mark? I can’t do anything. I have no choice but to do this.

“Yah, I said I’m sorry.” I said. “I didn’t intend to forget to text you.”

“Just tell me you’re avoiding me because you still love Baldwin and that’s it. Everything is over.” he said.

He walked out but I didn’t even dare to follow him. He thought that I was avoiding him because of Baldwin. But you’re wrong Mark. I wasn’t avoiding you because of him; I was avoiding you because it’s the best thing that I have to do.

I have to avoid him remember? I have to. I should avoid him.

I look at Mark and every step he takes, my heart breaks into pieces. I’m sorry Mark. I’m really sorry.

I’m sorry.

A tear suddenly fell from my left eye.

I tried to wipe it when JB held my hand.

“Why are you crying? Did something happen between you and Mark?” he said.

I removed my hand from him and wiped my tears.

“Nothing happened. It’s not about Mark.” I said trying to avoid JB’s question.

I was about to enter the dorm when JB held my hands.

“Then about what?” he said.

I did not answer.

“I hate seeing girls cry.” he said.

Then he immediately ran to his dorm.

“JB-a!” I shouted but he didn’t look at me and continued to go to the dorm.

Aish. What’s happening? Why is my life a mess right now? Aish. Aish. -_-

GOT7 dorm

“Yah Mark!” JB shouted as soon as he entered Mark’s room.

Good thing, only the two of them were there. The other members were still in the practice room.

JB grabbed Mark and forced Mark to face him.

“What did you do with Rhianne?” JB said.

“I did not do anything. She’s the one who did something.” Mark said coldly.

“Then why is she crying?” JB asked.

Mark stared at JB.

“She’s crying?” Mark asked.

Mark immediately ran when JB held his arms and whispered him something.

“I told you to not hurt her. Or else..”
