Mariah: A senior at Howard University, she's 21 years old. A Political Science major with plans to become THE baddest lawyer in history. Two loving parents but- they divorced two years ago—don't worry they're on good terms.

Karina: Mariah's best friend and confidante. Their moms are best friends. She's 22 years old (5 days older than Mariah). She wants to be an Elementary teacher.

Melinda: Mariah's Mom!! She's in her mid 50s. She doesn't look her age AT ALL. (Black don't crack). She's an AKA, with her PhD in psychology.

Joshua: Mariah's Father!! He's in his Mid 50s as well. He's a Doctor at Midwell Hospital. He's Puerto Rican and Cuban.

And last, but not least.

Professor Harris: Alumni and professor at Howard. Political Science professor. She's strict and punctual. Very assertive. Submissive (on a rare occasion). Jealous.
