Ophelia's POV

I walked away that day. Walked away from what could have become more.

My heart is shattered and my body feels numb.

Barry tried to open the door a few times but I blocked it with a chair from the other room.

Dennis hasn't even tried to talk to me.

It doesn't matter. Nothing does.

At the moment, I am curled up into a ball, staring at the wall before me.

My body is shutting its self down and I am gladly accepting it.

My eyes droop but I don't want to fall asleep, the nightmares are too much for me to handle.

---

Someone kicks in the door and runs in.

"Uh.. Are you alright?!" He anxiously asks.

I don't respond and continue my ever lasting battle of staring against the wall.

"Just uh.. Listen to me."

I choose to ignore him, too afraid to even turn around.

"Please. Ophelia.."

"Get out." My voice cracks as I speak.

I hear silence so I suspect that he walked away.

A few seconds later two muscular arms hold me close and I come face to face with Dennis.

I am terrified to say the least. I start shaking and mumbling.

"Let me go. Let me go. Let me go."

He just shakes his head and pulls me close.

"I am so sorry for not being there for you.. But the beast, he is so powerful. I couldn't oppose him, he is our god."

God. God. He should have helped me. I could have died! There is no god helping me!

"Get out."

"I don't want to."

His breathing tickles my neck and I involuntarily shiver, and Dennis chuckles.

"You can't escape me forever. You know that you want me."

I sob loudly and he quickly stands up.

"Fine. Rot away then."

He stomps off and I am alone once again.

---

The door creaks open and a plate full of food is placed next to my bed. Someone is shaking me but I simply do not have the energy to open my eyes.

"Are you okay sweetheart?" Patricia. She can be nice but she's also a bit creepy.

I weakly nod my head yes. She sighs and puts her arm under my body, holding me by the back. She lightly pushes me forward and I finally open my eyes. Relieve spreads across her face and she takes the plate of food, which contains a sandwich and an apple. She rips pieces off the sandwich and feeds them to me, after about five pieces, I ask her to stop.

"But why? You need your food." She says in a motherly kind of way.

"I am not hungry." Of course I am lying but, I lived on the streets and food was a luxury, my body can't handle large amounts of food.

"Okay...I will go then." She stands up but I quickly grab the sleeve of her shirt.

"P-please don't go.. Can you stay here till I fall asleep?"

"Sure sweetheart. But first let me put away this plate, okay?"

I nod and she smiles. I know that she doesn't like me, she hates me because Dennis seems to give me more attention, at least, that's what Hedwig tells me.

She rushes back in but I see that her posture has changed, what once was warm and relaxed is now cold and strict.

She sits down next to me and lightly pushes me back down into the matras.

Her lips curve upwards and she looks at me.

"Please go to sleep."

I know that this isn't Patricia but I am too tired to fight it.

I close my eyes and I can faintly hear someone saying something to me before I drift off to sleep.

GUYS WE JUST HIT 1000 VIEWS OMG! I feel so blessed! I love all the support that you give me and of course that you all enjoy this story!

Now the question of the day :

Question: What if Dennis suddenly stood in front of you (you don't know that he wants to kidnap you) and he asks you for help in his normal way what would you do?

I would personally help him, he seems okay but I would take someone with me, (but of course since it is James mc Avoy, I would definitely go with him.)
