Chapter 7

The next morning when Pete woke up he felt a hand around his waist which was holding him closer to a muscular body, when he opened his eyes to look at the person he was a bit shocked and happy, he saw the beautiful face of Vegas so close to him that his heart was beating faster and faster. He slowly take his hand closer to Vegas's face and was about to caress it when he suddenly stopped himself and just lay there in Vegas's embrace, Vegas who was still sleeping pulled Pete closer to him and put his head on Pete's shoulder.

Pete looked at the time and realised that if they don't wake up now they will be late so he got up and tried to wake up Vegas but he didn't even budge so, Pete went to the bathroom for a shower and decided that he will Wake Vegas up after he came back.

After taking a shower and changing his clothes he stood near the bed and shake Vegas and said

"Vegas wake up and go take a shower now or we will be late"

"Five more minutes please"

"No five minutes, wake up now come on"

Pete said and continued shaking him, Vegas took the pillow and cover his ears, but still Pete didn't let him sleep, finally after sometime he was able to wake Vegas up. Vegas woke up and sat on the bed zoning out, Pete looked at him in this cute state and smiled a little before saying

"Go shower and come down to eat quickly I will be waiting downstairs"

Pete said and walk out of the bedroom he went to the dinning table where the maids had already laid out the breakfast he sat down and waited for his friends to join him. After sometime Saint, Perth and Vegas came down and joined him. Saint looked sleepy and was yawning continuously and Perth had a smug smile on his face. Pete looked at Saint and asked

"Why do you look so sleepy didn't you get any sleep last night?"

After hearing the question Saint was suddenly fully awake and Perth's smile grew bigger

"Did something happened?" Pete asked

"Uh-umm nothing happened I was up late last night playing games that's why I'm sleepy nothing much" Saint answered

"Yes Pete, he was playing games but was defeated again and again so I taught him some moves so that next time he can win" Perth added with a smile

"Oh ok  let's continue eating then" Pete said and they eat peacefully. After they finished eating they all went to University. Pete has to start organizing and setting up stage now because he only has 2 weeks left for the event and nothing has been done yet.

Pete and Saint were at the auditorium with their classmates to discussion everything with them and making list of all the things they have to do and to buy or make. Perth wasn't there because he has football practice, but will join them when they start with the heavy work.

Pete explain his plan to all of them and it was accepted without much debate, the work was also divided fairly.

"Okay so is anybody left who isn't assigned any work" Pete asked

"Me" said a voice from the back of the hall when Pete looked over there he saw that it was Mark,

"And where were you when we were assigning the work" Pete asked with an annoyed voice

"I was with Professor Waree to discuss about something that's why I'm late" Mark answered

Pete rolled his eyes and asked

"Does anybody need a extra hand in their team" Pete asked everyone but all of them nodded their head in refusal, when a classmate from Pete's team said

"We should keep him Pete, our team has the least number of member and Mark is good at decorations also it's a plus" Pete's team members agreed to the proposal so Pete didn't have any other option but to let Mark join their group.

After that everybody left the hall to start working on their assigned task. Mark went up to Pete and said

"Finally we are in the same team"

"So what it means nothing"

"I know it means nothing to you but to Me it means something"

Pete wanted to answer him but before he could say anything Vegas answered for him

"Keep that something to yourself and stay away from Pete"

Vegas said and stand between Pete and Mark. Mark looked at Vegas annoyed he wanted to say something but Saint stopped him by saying

"If your bluffing is over can we all start working we don't have much time in our hand" they all looked at Saint's angry face and didn't say anything and started doing their own thing.

Vegas didn't know why but when he saw Mark approaching Pete he felt angry, he never ever felt angry when random guys approach Tawan but with Pete it was different, he felt so angry that he wanted to punch Mark's face but he has to stop himself because if he did punch Mark, Pete will be angry. Although Pete find Mark annoying he doesn't want to handle him with violence that's why he rejected Saint's offer of beating up Mark with the help of the football team. How he knows about this offer? Well Saint told him when he questioned him about Mark a few days ago, Saint said that he was ready to throw one or two punches himself but when Pete rejected the offer he was a bit disappointed.

But Vegas understand Pete because he knew that Pete never use violence, his mother taught him that violence is never the answer and he abide by what he was taught by her even after her death.
