Joss and Gawin walk out of the class together. Joss hasn't talked with anyone other than Gawin since they came to class. It's like he's completely under his spell. He just pays attention to him, listens to him only, looks at him only, not even caring for any kind of allegations others might throw at him. He just sticks with Gawin. Gawin also doesn't really mind hanging out with him so he doesn't say anything.

' Hey J!' Gap called from behind running after them.

' What is it, Gap?' Joss asked his voice and facial expressions, changing to an annoyed one like he wasn't just smiling from ear to ear teasing and talking to Gawin.

' Hi Gap.' Gawin greets Gap with a smile.

' Hi Gawin.' Gap greets back slightly, shifting his gaze towards Gawin for a second before turning back to Joss.

' Hey man, me and the boys are going to the bar tonight. U coming?' Gap asked with hope on his face.

' No thanks. U guys enjoy.' Joss replies coldly.

' U not coming for real?' Gap asked with an unbelievable face.

"Um, G, let's go." Joss pulls by Gawin's arm.

' What the hell, man!?' Gap runs in front of Joss, stopping him. ' For real? U are doing this with me for real?' Gap asked, squinting his eyes with an annoyed face.

' Gap, it's not that I'm doing this because of u. It's more because of me. I just want to be in peace for a while in my life. Don't take me wrong. Think of it as I'm prioritising myself over others.' Joss says normally without any expression nor there's any hint of annoyance in his voice.

' So u are saying hanging out with me is chaotic?' Gap asked, tilting his head a bit with a frown.

' I didn't say that.' Joss replied nonchalantly.

' Just forget it, dude. From now on, I'll never ever invite u. Make sure u also do the same. Fake friend. Forgetting ur old friends when u find a new one. Assh*le.' Gap swears at Joss and walks past him, pushing Joss with his shoulder with a side eye.

' Gap, wait.' Gawin calls for Gap, but he didn't listen and walk away. " Hey, why did u talk to him like that? He's ur friend." Gawin turns back towards Joss, who's breathing out with his eyes close.

" Let's go." Joss walks away.

" Hey, go after him. I don't want to be the reason u guys fight." Gawin runs after Joss.

"..." Joss keeps on walking without any reply. Gawin keeps on pestering after him. "Hey, Joss...Joss..." Gawin keeps on calling, followed by a silence.

" I won't!" Joss stops his steps and grabs Gawin by his arms. "I know what I did was wrong, but for once in my life, I want to do what I want, not what others want. I want to be in peace, and I don't get that when I hang out with them, to be honest." Joss looks at Gawin seriously.

"But still they ate ur friends. Are u willing to end the friendship just for that?" Gawin asked, but Joss looked away and walked off in silence. Gawin puts his hands on his waist, looking at Joss's back with a frown.

" How did I end up in this situation?" Gawin, let's out a sigh and follow after Joss slowly.

"Can u walk any slower?" Joss turns back and arch his brows.

"U can just tell me to walk faster. There's no need to be sarcastic with me." Gawin frowns slightly and walks up to Joss.

"I can, but will u even listen when I talk nicely?" Joss asked with a slight tease in his tone.

"Not funny." Gawin side eye him and walked off.

" Haha, hey! Wait!"

" Don't follow me." Gawin walks off . Joss runs after him with a smile. " U mad at me? Hey! I was just joking, man, come on." Joss puts his arms around Gawin's neck, pulling him back.

" Where are u going? Let's go together." Joss said with a wink.

" To hell. Still coming?" Gawin asks, raising his eyebrows .

" Sure, why not!? If it's with u, I can go anywhere. By the way, hell seems fun. Do u know the way?" Joss tease.

" I don't need to show u the way. God will show u himself the way, don't worry." Gawin puts Joss arms off his neck and pats on his shoulder. Joss looks at his action and pulls him in again by the neck .

" Why would I go alone? U must come with me." Joss drags Gawin like that all the way to the car.

" There's no need to walk me to the door." Gawin turns around Joss, who is walking slowly behind him. Joss offered to drop Gawin home, and after reaching Gawin's home, he insisted on dropping him to the door.

" No, no, I insist. It's my duty as a good friend to make sure that u reach home safe. Moreover, u are new here, so what if some robber tries to rob u and U are so petite, so u can't fight the robber. But don't worry, I'll protect u." Joss pats himself on the chest with a princely smile.

Gawin puts on a sarcastic smile. " For ur information, I'm 6 feet, and I can protect myself. And I look petite only when I'm near u cause u are a giant man. I'm not scared of robbers, but u." Gawin points his finger at Joss.

Joss narrows his eyes," U feeling better now, right? It's good, I'll be off then. See u tomorrow, baby." Joss winks before turning around and walking away towards his car.

Gawin shakes his body,"Goosebumps."

" Gawin! Son! Gawin!" Gawin's mom calls for him from downstairs. It's half past 10 already, and they just got off from work . Gawin was half asleep but wokes up to his mother's call.

" Yes, Mom! Coming!" He gets up from bed and walks out his room going down at the living room.

" Mom, u called me? Is there anything wrong?" Gawin walks closer to his mom. " Where's dad?" He sits down besides his mom.

" He is in the toilet. Were u sleeping? Sorry for disturbing your sleep, baby." Gawin's mom rubs on hus back.

" No problem, mom. So why did u call me?" Gawin looks at his mother.

" Nothing, mom was just wondering if u could help us out this coming weekend?" She said a bit hesitantly.

" Of course I can, mom. Is that even a question? I'm here for both u and dad. So don't be hesitant to give me any work. For u and dad, I can do anything." Gawin takes his mother's hand and rubs it softly.

" I can't believe I got such a good and well-behaved son." She tears up and pulls in Gawin for a hug.

" No need to cry over it, mom." Gawin hugs her back with a smile. In the meantime, Gawin's dad also came back. " What is going on? U guys are hugging without me?" Gawin's dad walks up to them and hugs them both tightly.

" Love u, mom and dad."

" We love u too, son." They both kiss him on the head and continue hugging him tight.

" How lucky am I? I must be the luckiest person on this planet. Thank u, god, for giving me such a lovely family. Before coming back, I didn't imagine that so much happiness would be waiting for me here. That's why Thailand is called the "Land of smiles," indeed." Gawin thinks to himself and could help but smiles brightly, enjoying his parents' warm embrace.

On the other side..., at the hospital, 'Ma ur son is here. Did u miss Joss Ma? Joss miss Ma like crazy. When will u wake up, Ma? Joss miss Ma so much, na. Please wake up and show me ur bright smile. Bless my ear with ur sweet voice. Please wake up." Jossholds his mother's hands and places it on his face with a drop of tear flowing down his left cheek softly landing at his mother's hand.

Just how much difference there is between the two worlds. One who is thanking God for giving him his family and the other praying to God to give him his family back. But no doubt , when these two worlds meet and clash with each other, will it balance out everything or mess up what's there even more? No one knows.....
