Chapter Eleven : The Big Changes
02:16, 17 February 2021Chapter Eleven : The Big Changes
It's nighttime and I decided to take a shower and change into my pajamas. I had came back from a long public engagement and Harry wasn't home yet.
I wore something comfy because lately I had been feeling off and as soon as I got home I found out why.
I had taken a pregnancy test and it was positive. I was pregnant and I couldn't wait to tell Harry.
Harry walked in the bedroom and took off his suit.
"How was your day?" Harry asked as he walked into the closet to take off his clothes.
I got off the bed and followed him into the closet and quickly placed the positive pregnancy test in front of him.
"Are you serious?" He asked as he looked from the pregnancy test to me.
I bit my lip and nodded.
"I'm pregnant." I answered.
Harry smiled and pulled me into a hug.
"Oh, this is amazing. Thank you, love." He said.
I started to tear up.
"I can't believe it. We're having a baby." I said.
Harry started crying and tightened his arms around me.
"I promise I will protect you and our baby. I love the both of you with my life." He said.
I kissed his cheek.
"I know and we love you too." I said.
Harry takes a deep breath.
"We'll keep the pregnancy between us for as long as we can before we tell the family or announce it to the world." Harry said, sounding very protective.
I nodded.
"Okay." I said.

kensingtonroyal The Duke of Sussex tonight attended the Mind Media Awards, which celebrate the very best portrayals and reporting of mental health challenges across the media. Before presenting the Speaking Out Award to the runners who took part in the BBC 'Mind Over Marathon' documentary, HRH said: "After decades of hard work from dedicated campaigners, people seemed ready for a different kind of conversation on mental health. Everyone was tired of stigma and scare stories around mental illness. We were all beginning to grasp that mental illness was an issue worth talking about, for every one of us. And while just talking doesn't cure all ills, we are now shattering the silence that was a real barrier to progress. The biggest thanks has to go to the British public. You embraced it, you engaged with it and you normalised it."

"You and the baby are in good health. Better than expected since Harry was concerned about your sleep schedule and the morning sickness you experienced." Doctor Guy Thorpe-Beeston said as he smiled, finishing up the reading of my blood work.
"You heard that." I said to Harry.
Harry sighed in relief, holding my hand. Harry has been overprotective and worried about everything little thing since he found out I was pregnant. It was sweet but a little annoying at times.
"I'll begin the ultrasound just to double check, and to find out the gender of your baby. Can you pull up your shirt for me? This will be a little bit cold." Guy Thorpe-Beeston said, applying the gel to my stomach. He then began the scan.
A blurred black and white picture came up on a screen next to them. The doctor pointed on the screen.
"And there is your baby." Guy Thorpe-Beeston said.
"Oh my Goodness." Harry whispered, wrapping his fingers around mine and kissing my hand.
"It's wonderful." I whispered back.
The Doctor smiled "Do you both want to know the gender of the baby?" Guy Thorpe-Beeston asked.
Harry looked at me and I nodded.
"Yes, we want to know." Harry answered.
Guy Thorpe-Beeston smiled.
"It's a boy!" Guy Thorpe-Beeston said.
Harry immediately grinned and I squealed.
Harry and I really didn't care whether we had a son or a daughter, as long as our baby entered this world and was healthy but secretly I knew he was happy, we were having a boy.
"I'm so happy." Harry said.
"Me too." I said, agreeing.
