04:58, 24 October 2022"Y/n, please," Wanda breathily gasped, making you pull away from the brunette's neck. Your smile turning smug when you saw the red mark you left on her beautiful skin. Suddenly, you wanted to paint it all over her body if you had the time. But right now, the woman desperately needed you as much as you needed her.
You didn't even know how you and Wanda got inside your apartment so quick from the rooftop, even managing to climb down the stairs without tripping, as if you two just floated into the air.
You just knew that even though it was still so early in the morning, when everyone was still fast asleep, you and Wanda were so wide awake and hungry for each other as she pulled you to your own bedroom.
It was all a blur after that, that you couldn't even remember what happened. All you knew was you both took your time learning each other, what makes the other moan out louder, and what makes the other lose control. You tasted each other for the first time and grew addicted, as if one taste was a drug you'd never pass up on taking.
Wanda was very vocal and you immediately realized that her sweet moans and whimpers were your most favorite sounds in the world. And the most favorite sight would be her throwing her head back to the pillows, her eyes shut tight with mouth open in a perfect "O" shape as she arched her back, twitching and shuddering all the way to her perfect toned legs.
The brunette wasn't innocent either. She was amazing with her mouth and her fingers that you couldn't believe you had ever come so hard like that in your life. Yelena was a selfish lover. Once she had took what she wanted, she never cared to give it back to you.
Wanda was different. So different, that you found yourself craving for her. That if she'd only allow it, you would tie her up in your own bed and never let her go. She had shown you that even kissing and worshipping your body could be this intimate. And you wanted everything about her.
"Y/n, oh god, please don't stop, please don't, fuuu-" Wanda's voice faltered when she tensed above you, her thighs clamping shut around your head as you made her come for the nth time that day. Nails still digging unto her ass as you kept on attacking her delicious folds, which was generous in giving you more to satisfy your thirst. You swore you'd receive another complaint from your neighbor later from the noises you were both making but you no longer cared. Let them hear. Let them know what they're missing. Let them be jealous.
When you felt her body relax before you, and her legs finally releasing your head from the tight hold, you then began peppering kisses all over her skin after licking all the evidence you had managed to purge out of her. Every touch of your lips gave her twitches of aftershock.
Wanda was still heavily panting, catching her breath like she had been deprived from breathing, when you met her lips in a lazy tired kiss. You hovered above her, elbows bracing on each side of her head, bodies pressed so closed against each other, you could still feel the tremble from her.
Then you pulled an inch away from her face as you met her emerald eyes, still dazed and sated from what you did.
"I want to take you out on a date tonight," you whispered huskily, grazing your lips on her nose before you placed a soft peck.
Her hand then went to your face, brushing the glistening wetness you still had all over your chin, her eyes drifting from your mouth to your eyes from time to time. "You do?"
"There's this lovely restaurant out in Wellington Court called Mari Vanna," you went on. "I think you'll love it there, they have a great variety of Russian food..." You then pressed your lips against hers once again, her hands immediately slipping to the back of your head, threading her fingers through your locks as she pulled you firmer on her.
"I'd love to go there with you," Wanda muttered softly, smiling into the kiss as she nodded. You eventually broke it off as your lips then ventured to the side of her mouth down to her jawline. "Although, I have to be somewhere later in the afternoon, to do some grocery shopping. Maybe I'll meet you there instead?"
You softly chuckled into her skin, making her shiver slightly from the vibration. "Lemme guess, to buy oranges?"
"I love oranges," she admitted, letting out a loud giggle into the room that turned into a surprised whimper when you sucked the skin just below her earlobe.
You planned on asking her out that night, to formally put a label on the nightly series marathon you do with her. You wanted to introduce her to your family and to your friend Steve. You wanted to bring her out and see your favorite places in London and also learn about her favorite places too. You wanted her to be your lover, to be someone significantly important to spend the rest of your life with.
But as the hour of waiting for the brunette to arrive at the agreed place turned into two, and the waiter came back asking if you were ready to order, you got tired of sitting and asked for the bill instead for the soda you ordered in the restaurant. Why didn't Wanda show up?
It sucked. Your heart soared up so high this morning that when Wanda didn't come to the restaurant later that night, it pummeled to the ground so fast and hard, the hit had caused an explosion. Said explosion rendered too much damage.
This must be what Gamora felt like when you didn't show up to the date. But at least, she met someone else better than you. You doubted the look the female bartender was giving you right now was a look of attraction, when you could recognize pity everywhere you go.
You still gave Wanda the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she took longer time doing the groceries or maybe she got tired and forgot about the whole thing. But no matter how long you tried to take your time paying the bill, heading slowly towards the door with heavy steps, even waiting outside the place watching the passersby go on with their business, just to give Wanda more time, she didn't show up.
You even decided to pass by along the grocery store where you thought she was purchasing her oranges but not a Wanda was in sight.
You thought the feeling was mutual but maybe you felt something that wasn't even there. Your feet must had dragged you all the way home, hesitant to confront the brunette.
You suspected you were being too much. You invited Wanda to wake up early in the morning to watch The Planet Parade together, even made love until lunchtime. Surely, you wouldn't expect her to meet you all the time you asked her to.
When you finally arrived at your apartment, you were torn between entering your own unit and knocking on Wanda's door. But the moment you took a quick glance, you immediately noticed the door to her apartment was already slightly open.
Your heart suddenly began thundering so loud in your chest, that you could turn deaf any second. It felt like you were reliving your nightmare when you heard noises inside as you stepped closer towards the door.
No. She couldn't be. Wanda was a nice sweet human being whom you had fallen in love with. She wouldn't choose not to show up on your date just because she was busy murdering someone inside her apartment.
However, you found yourself creeping silently inside, cautious on making any noise that would alert your presence. You were being silly. There was no way Wanda was still the silly idea you had in your head. You've got to let your paranoia go.
But what you saw deeper into the apartment immediately broke your aching heart into a thousand pieces you never thought was possible.
This was even more heartbreaking than the time you saw Yelena performing coitus with someone else on your own bed. Nothing would compare to how you felt right now as you watched how Wanda was eagerly pulling a lifeless body into her bathroom, the trail of blood visible all the way from her living room.
Tears slowly trickled down your eyes, the strength to control them loosened. By observing, you could tell the body was of a woman's by the long hair swaying when dragged through the floor, but the face wasn't visible from the darkness and the shadow from Wanda's figure. You couldn't even figure out if it was a brunette or a blonde, praying it wasn't Yelena.
How awful you must had been if you had been making love with the girl of your dreams while your ex-girlfriend was held captive in the room just next to yours, probably fighting for her life.
It took a lot in you to head back outside Wanda's apartment as you silently closed the door.
"You okay, kid?" A man's voice made you jump. When you looked in front of you, a middle aged man dressed like a police officer was staring at you with a worried look on his face. "I just got a call from your neighbor complaining about a burglar, but it was a false alarm. He turned out to be his cousin after all... Y-You look pale, are you okay?"
You swallowed a nervous lump in your throat as you finally nodded, trying to appear as innocent as ever. As if you hadn't just witnessed someone getting killed inside Wanda's apartment. "Yes, yes, I'm fine, officer... Thank you."
You could do it. You could just tell him what Wanda was doing behind the door. You could protect more people from getting hurt if you were strong enough to report the incident. You could just do it. Just a few words to tell him you were living next to a murderer.
But you couldn't get yourself to betray the brunette. You couldn't handle seeing Wanda, the sweet nice kind gorgeous Wanda you had known and loved, behind bars for the rest of her life. You wouldn't get a chance to be with her, to kiss her, to hug her.
It was wrong. It was all wrong.
"I... I just had a heavy day, that's all," you went on with your lie as the officer before you finally nodded and began heading towards the stairs.
When you entered your apartment and locked your door with all of its locks, you then broke into a sobbing mess, shoulders wracking and shuddering in waves as tears erupted from your eyes like a dam has been broken, falling relentlessly as your body gave up from standing and slid to a sit on the floor.
No, Wanda. No. You murmured into the silent night, your cries echoing through the entire apartment. Why would she do this?
You hated Wanda for what she was doing to the helpless woman in her apartment right now. But you hated yourself more for not doing anything about it, for still loving her.
And all you could really do now is cry.
