Mall

A few weeks had passed since the Hosu incident, Izuku had not had any more success on investigating about the League's where abouts. He was getting frustrated. He thought he may need to rest for a while, he decided to grab his hoodie and went off to the mall, maybe he could find something to do that would clear his mind or something. He entered the mall and tried to get his mind entertained by looking around the different things the mall had to offer. As he kept walking he didnt notice one gray haired girl, which he accidentally bumped into. The girl dropped her bag and Izuku reached out for it, when he looked up he saw the girl.

Izuku had a flashback of Hosu.

Izuku: 'Its her'Izuku: Sorry! I didnt saw where I was going!Shi: No no! It was also my fault! I wasnt paying too much attention either.

Shi looked at Izuku carefully.

Shi: Hey... I know you!

Izuku widened his eyes in surprise, she couldnt have possibly recognized him, he was ready to take out his pocket knives he always carried around with him and stab her.

Izuku: You do?Shi: Yes... You are.... Izuku.... Izuku Midoriya?Izuku: Yes indeed thats me.Shi: You are the kid who left from my school 6 years ago!Izuku: You were in my class?Shi: Nope! I came shortly after you left! I was made aware of who you were though! I saw a picture of yours and thats whh I recognized you!Izuku: Oh I see...

Izuku slowly stopped gripping his knives inside his pocket, maybe there wouldnt be the necessity to cause a public scandal.... For now.

Shi: Sorry! Where are my manners, Im-Izuku: Shi... Shi Subara.

Now it was time for Shi to be impressed.

Shi: How do you-Izuku: You won the sports festival didnt you?Shi: Oh yes, silly me! I forgot that event was televised throughout the whole nation, so embarrasing!

Shi turned a bit red from the embarrasement.

Izuku: You shouldnt be embarrased you know, that is a great opportunity to be known!

Izuku didnt like talking to a hero in training that much, but he thought maybe he could relax a little, and not be the phantom killer Vendetta for a while.

Izuku: 'Yeez they have made my name so long.... Something as The Vengeful One would be better'Shi: Say, you think we could talk a little while, my friends are all in different parts of the mall and I am all alone.

Izuku looked at her for a while.

Izuku: Sure... Why not...

Izuku followed Shi and they sat in the edge of a fountain.

Izuku: Surprises me you want to speak with me, I know I dont give the best vibes.

Shi chuckled.

Shi: Appearences are not everything, you should never judge a book by its cover!Izuku: Even if that cover looks like straight out of a crack house?

Shi laughed at that.

Shi: Yes!Izuku: Well I suppose since you are a hero in training it doesnt matter, you could beat the crap out of anyone Am I right?Shi: Guess you could say that -she giggled.Izuku: But you should still be careful, you dont know if you may find someone dangerous, you know?Shi: I know, dont worry, I will be careful! Yeez you sound like my mom!

Shi laughed at her statement, meanwhile Izuku felt like someone had pierced his heart.

Izuku: R-really?Shi: Yes! She is always telling me to be careful and is worried sick about me.

Izuku had hint of sadness in his eyes, it reminded him of his mom.

Izuku: W-well its only natural, specially with someone like that phantom killer roaming around. You may enconunter him you know?

Shi lowered her head.

Izuku: Dont tell me...Shi: Yes... I... I was in Hosu...Izuku: Oh....

Silence invaded them until Izuku spoke again.

Izuku: What happened?.... Would talking about it help?....

Shi remained silent until she spoke again.

Shi: I was there when he fought Stain, I saw the whole fight and how he killed him, it was.... gruesome. He almost killed me too. One of the... Creatures in the city with wings took me, he killed the thing and then stomped on my back, he had spikes in his boots, so he pierced parts of my back and left a horrible mark....

Izuku as he was listening had a strange feeling... One he had never felt before.... Not in a long time at least.... One he felt when he did something bad and lied to his mother..... Guilt.

Shi: He then raised his sword to kill me.... When I looked into his eyes.... It was terrifying.

Izuku would normally find it amusing how people feared him, but for some reason he couldnt this time.

Izuku: I am sorry to hear about it.... But you are alive and thats what matters.... Im sure it wont happen again.... If you are alive its for something so be glad for it.... And listen to your mom, you dont want to make her worry....

Shi suddenly pulled Izuku into a hug, Izuku was taken back by the sudden show of affection, but he didnt pushed hee back, he didnt want to push her back. He leaned into her and returned the hug, it had been years since he had felt an affective warm engulf him in a hug, not since she died.

Shi then pulled away from the hug.

Shi: Thanks.... I really needed that...Izuku: It was nothing...

Izuku then looked at his clock.

Izuku: I must go now sorry.Shi: Dont worry, it was nice talking with you. Goodbye Izuku!

Izuku nodded.

Izuku: Goodbye...

Izuku stood up and walked away, for some reason that sense of guilt wouldnt leave him alone.

Izuku: 'Guess..... I am still human after all...'

Shi stood up and walked away, suddenly another man in a hood walked up to her and placed his arm around her neck.

???: Hey I know you! You were in the sports festival!Shi: 'Guess I am meeting new people today'

Izuku walked around the mall for 5 minutes trying to find the exit he suddenly saw a man walking through the crowd. His face was one he would always recognize.

Izuku: Shigaraki....

He pulled his hoodie up to hide his face with the shadow it gave him. He then grabbed his pocket knife and charged at Shigaraki in high speeds. Tomura was surprised he wasnt expecting to be attacked. He was able to barely dodge the attack.

The people began to scream and run away from the scene, some stood around watching the scene unfold.

Suddenly Shoto and Shi arrived at the scene.

Shoto: Who is fighting with Shigaraki? I cant see his face!Shi: 'That hoodie.... Is that.... Izuku?...and that fighting style... Its his....'

Shigaraki managed to dissolve Izuku's knife, but Izuku took out another one.

Shigaraki was about to touch Izuku to dissolve him but he used the knife and attacked him.

Izuku stabbed Shigaraki in the hand and then in a swift movement he chopped Shigaraki's hand off.

Then the sirens of police cars could be heard approaching. Izuku stood back and Shigaraki took the opportunity to run. Izuku did the same and did his best to run away. He used the panicked crowd to his advantage and blended in.

Meanwhile Shi stood there watching the place were the scene had unfolded.

Shi: 'They cant be the same person.... Could they.... Then.... Who is the real one?!....'
