Chapter 7 - Another Workday

Ein's POVI headed downstairs for work after one of my co-workers called me down from the rooftop. Blaze headed back to the dorm since he had a few projects to finish but said that he'll pick me up from work a while after.

I opened my locker and looked for my uniform but I couldnt find it. I asked Quinn and Jack (two of my co-workers) and they said that it might have been misplaced.

I shrugged it off and looked for a spare uniform. I was lucky enough to find one but it didnt feel right since it wasnt my own.

The uniform consisted of a white button-up polo with long sleeves that I rolled up, black pants, a small dark blue bowtie, black shoes, and an apron.

The work day had officially started like usual after we opened up. Four of us took orders, two of my co-workers handled the cashier, and one or two were in the back (washing dishes, and preparing all sorts of drinks and pastries for customers).

-Time Skip---------------Blaze's POVIt was around 4 o'clock in the afternoon when I finished my project. I drove to the cafe to pick Ein up. I got there and was kinda bored, I noticed how it was kinda crowded inside and how some employees were rushing to get orders taken.

I went into the cafe and as I was closing the door I bumped into someone...

Ein's POVThings started to get busy in the cafe. People from the back started taking orders too and the lines at the cashier were getting long.

I was walking over to a table near the door when I bumped into someone and slipped. Nearly falling on the ground and spilling two of the drinks I was going to give the table I was walking over to.

I looked up to see that I was caught by none other than Blaze. His cheeks were lit up by the sight of me in his arms and his green and blue eyes stared right into mine.

He held me like this for a minute until I finially said something. "B-Blaze? Are you uh..gonna let me go?" I asked as he snapped out of his weird trance.

"O-Oh uh s-sorry!" He stuttered and let go of me. He looked flustered and that wasnt a good look on him.

"Why so tense man?" I asked and chuckled before I started to tease. "I mean I know I look good in my uniform but you dont need to stare."

"I was not staring!" He stated as I giggled.

"Fine you werent staring. But thanks for catching me." I said while giving the drinks to the table I was walking to.

"Yeah yeah. Just...meet me in the car when you're done with work" He replied quietly.

Work ended a bit later and me and my co-workers were exhausted. We cleaned up after closing a bit early since some had to leave early. I stayed back and helped clean the front. I brought in chairs and tables and took out the garbage before sitting down and taking a breath.

I ended up falling asleep from how tired I was. And when I woke up I was in the car next to Blaze, being driven back to the dorm.
