Chapter 11- thats a lot to take in

NARRATOR'S POV

The girls walked back to Lucky.

" Are you guys ready to tell me now? " Lucky asked.

" Yeah, but it might be a lot to take in " Bluey replied.

They told him everything and even showed him their phones so he could see the text._______( Too lazy to write everything all over again 🙄 )_______

" So, you're telling me that someone named nightmare is threatening to kill you guys if you don't do what he says " Lucky said.

" Yep " the girls responded.

" And he's the reason why Jean luc hasn't been in school all this while " Lucky added.

" Yeah " Bluey responded.

" And because of him, you guys rigged the competition and Honey hit Jack with a spanner " Lucky added.

" Yes " Honey replied.

" That's a lot to take in " Lucky said.

" Told you so " Bluey said.

" We still have a problem " Honey said.

" What? " Bluey asked.

" Jack knows I hit him with a spanner and he might report to the authorities " Honey replied.

" Oh no " Indy remarked

" I'm surprised that he hasn't reported yet " Lucky stated.

" Really? " Bluey asked.

" Yeah, what's even more surprising is, the principal and vice principal didn't check the CCTV cameras, instead they went to ask Jack " Lucky said.

" Who cares about that " Honey said.

" Honey! " Jack yelled as he approached them.

" Oh no guys, he's coming, make up a stupid lie " Honey said as she ran off.

" Honey! " Jack yelled again as he saw her running away.

" Hey Jack, good...to see you're feeling better " Bluey said.

" That's not what I'm here for " Jack replied.

" I know, you want to know why Honey hit you right? " Indy asked

" Yeah " Jack replied.

" Fine, I'll tell you " Indy said.

" Ok, I'm listening " Jack replied.

" So, it all started when we made a bet with Honey, she lost and she had to pay us five hundred dollars but she couldn't. so I dared her to Kiss the guy that she likes then Bluey said ' nah, better, she should hit the guy she likes, it'll be more dramatic ' so that's what she did " Indy lied

Bluey was surprised to hear what Indy was saying. She then realized that it was all a lie.

" What! " Jack exclaimed.

" It's all our fault. Honey really likes you so please don't see her as a weirdo. We're really sorry " Bluey said.

" Don't tell her we told you " Indy insisted.

" Y-yeah...i-i won't " Jack said. His face was turning red, he was blushing hard." Bye " Jack said as he ran away due to embarrassment.

" Why did you do that? " Lucky asked Indy.

" I don't know, I wasn't thinking straight, but still it was funny " Indy replied.

Honey returned, she looked around and saw that Jack wasn't there." H-he's gone right? " She asked

" Yeah " Bluey replied. She was trying hard not to laugh.

" Oh ok " Honey said. " What did you tell him? " She asked

" Nothing, don't worry about it " Indy replied.

" I'm leaving, if you need me I'll be with the boys " Lucky said as he left.

The girls went back to class.Chloe and Coco approached them.

" Hey girls " Coco said.

" Hey " Honey and Bluey replied while Indy remained silent.

" anyway, Do you girls want to hang out today after school? " Chloe asked.

" Yeah sure, we'll be there " Honey replied.

" Cool " Coco said as she and Chloe walked away.

" Why did you say we'll go? " Indy asked.

" If we don't, they'll suspect that something's wrong, besides when last did we all hang out " Honey replied.

" Whatever " Indy replied.

The girls continued to talk about stuff.

Bluey received a text from her phone._______NightmareI love the fact that you completed your task. As a reward Come pick up Jean luc. Tonight at 8 'o' clock._______

After Bluey read the message she was scared of what nightmare might have done to Jean luc but she was also happy that Jean luc would be back.

" Bluey are you ok " Indy asked after noticing that she wasn't feeling alright.

" L-look at this " she said as she showed Indy and Honey the text.

" Oh my gosh! " Indy Exclaimed.

" Jean luc, he's alive " Honey said.

" He was never dead Honey " Bluey replied.

" Oh " Honey replied.

" I'll go get Lucky " Indy said as she ran off.

Indy looked for Lucky all over the school then she went to the lost and found where she found Lucky.

" Oh... you're here " she said breathing heavily. " What are you guys doing? " She asked.

" We're dumpster diving " Mackenzie replied.

" What? " Indy questioned.

" We're looking for anything useful " Mackenzie replied

" Oh ok " Indy replied.

" What do you want Indy? " Rusty asked rudely.

Indy realized that he didn't want her there." Umm, Lucky, I need you to come with me " Indy said

" Why? " Lucky asked.

" You know, to do the thing, that we have to do " Indy replied.

" Oh yeah, ok let's go " Lucky said as the two ran off.

" Really, they have a thing now, ugh " Rusty commented.

" Wait so she dumped you for him? " Jack asked.

" No, she probably just need his help " Mackenzie replied.

" Whatever, I don't even care " Rusty said.

Indy and Lucky met up with Bluey and Honey. Bluey showed him the text.

" Ok, this is tricky " Lucky said.

" Well, what do we do? " Bluey asked.

" We go get him, it's all we can do " Lucky replied.
