2 weeks later

She had just finished going through the photos in her office that she had taken earlier of Justin Bieber when Lana comes in and sits on the corner of her desk and asks so how did the shoot with Bieber go.

She leans back in her chair and replies he was his usual bratty pain in the ass self, acting the big man who thinks everybody loves him and every woman wants him.

That well huh well Lady Gaga has changed her schedule and is going to be in NYC next week instead of LA but still wants the shoot done, are you ok to go Lana asks her.

She felt relieved, a week away without trying to do and live like normal again with Bruno would be good she loved him but pretending she was happy when hanging with friends or going out with them and having dinner with her family and his was hard and draining, it was easy as always being with Bruno but she hasn't felt ready for sex and she knew he was frustrated, not just sexually but also with the fact she still wasn't sleeping well and still only eating a little to make him happy.

I'm good to go CeCe replies and smiles a little when Lana replies great i'll go get your flight and hotel booked now.

She was a little nervous when she got home about telling Bruno that she was going to be in NYC for a week and would be leaving Sunday afternoon, it would be the first time they had spent that long apart since before they had got together and she didn't know how he was going to take it.

She gave Geronimo some dog biscuits and decides that she'll make tacos for dinner, she calls Bruno and asks him what time he'll be home from the studio and he tells her in about an hour and she tells him that's fine i'm making dinner he tells her that sounds good and they both say I love you before hanging up.

He knew something was on her mind as he watched her push her tacos around her plate, he took the last bite of his own and takes a sip of his wine and says that was great, I wish you would eat yours rather than pushing it around the plate CeCe.

She ate a little more to please Bruno and after they had strawberry cheesecake she took a deep breath and says listen you know i'm doing a photo shoot with Lady Gaga next week and when he nods yes she continues and says well she's changed the location, instead of doing it here in L.A it's happening in NYC instead, I fly out on Sunday.

I can come with you he replies.

She takes his hand and replies that'd be great but you've been working hard in the studio the past couple of weeks and I don't want to get in the way of your music babe, it's only for a week and we can talk, text and face time everyday.

He pulls his hand from hers and sits back in his chair and looks at her and replies you make it sound so easy for us to be apart for a week when we haven't been apart that long since before we got together, aren't you going to miss me he asks raising his voice.

Of course i'm going to miss you Bruno and I don't think for 1 minute that it's going to be easy for us to be apart she replies and gets up and goes and sits on his lap and puts her arms around his neck and says I know your working on finishing your album and I don't want to interfere with that, I remember how crazy you were when you had writers block and now that the block is gone you should keep going while your running hot.

He kisses her and pulls back and leans his forehead against hers and strokes her sides and replies well you just had to go sounding all reasonable on me didn't you, now if I keep being pissed at us spending a week apart i'll feel like a jerk, but i'm going to miss you dammit.

He helps her clean the kitchen and load the dish washer but Bruno couldn't shake the feeling that he'd been having the last couple of weeks that he was losing CeCe and he couldn't bare it, he hoped that while she's in NYC he can think of how to keep her with him.

It should be easy right he thought to himself, he knows she loves him but since losing their baby there has been a distance between them.

He knows that although she has been doing the things they used to do, well except for sex, that her heart hasn't been in it.

It has been hard and painful for both of them losing peanut but he'd be damned if he was going to lose her too.
