"Are we seriously going this slow? Oh, come on. Why don't you let me drive instead?"

I rolled my eyes as Tay continued whining in the backseat.

"That's what you get for tagging along," Earth replied as he purposely slow down just to piss Tay.

I just covered my ears as they continued bickering. We were on our way to the mall as Earth wanted to buy a gift for his father and he needed my opinion. And of course, Tay just decided to tag along saying that his presence would help prevent any untoward incidents, which I didn't even understand at all.

"Of course, I have to go with you. Who knows what you are gonna do with my New."

"Excuse me? Since when did he become yours?"

"Since the night we slept together."

"Holy shit!" I immediately grabbed the hand grip as Earth abruptly stepped on the brakes.

"Don't you know how to drive? New, are you okay?"

I just glared at Tay who leaned forward to check on me.

"Ugh! If you two are not gonna shut up, I'm going out of this car right at this moment!"

I frustratingly ran a hand through my hair as they sneered at each other. It was as if I was taking care of two nursery kids who didn't know anything but to argue over trivial things.

Tay then leaned back on his seat whilst Earth started driving again.

"God. Seriously at this rate, why don't you date each other instead?" I remarked frustratingly as I looked at them alternately.

"NO WAY!"

And once again, they answered in unison.

"Hmmm. This looks nicer than the previous one," I examined the watch the lady just handed. "It's not that heavy and it's not that light as well."

"Okay. Then I'll get this," Earth smiled at me as he handed the watch we have chosen to the lady.

I casually glanced at Tay who was sitting on a nearby bench whilst typing on his phone.

Tsss. Seriously, who would he be texting when he was with me??

"Let's go?"

I stared as Earth reached out his hand for me to hold.

"Uh," I wanted to tell him I didn't want to but he then grabbed my hand and started dragging me towards the next store.

"What do you want?" he asked as we stood in front of a display of different bracelets. "Consider it my birthday gift for you."

"Uh. I don't usually wear one," I replied. Well it was partly true as I didn't wear bracelets that much.

"Did you know that New gave this to me?"

I jolted as Tay spoke behind me and showed his wrist to Earth, like some kid who was showing off his toy just to piss his enemy.

"It doesn't look good on you though," Earth snorted as he slapped Tay's hand away from him.

"You know what, I'm hungry. Let's just eat, okay?" I stood between them so they'd stop, but they still gave each other glares as we went inside the nearest fast food restaurant.

I didn't get to eat lunch properly as I was more concerned with how they took turns impressing my mom than my hunger.

They just invaded our kitchen and literally prepared 7 dishes each. We ended up giving out food to our neighbors or they'd end up spoiled.

And my mom just watched with a grin on her face as the two argued who should use the kitchen utensils first. They almost ended up hitting each other with the frying pan.

If only I could choke them on the spot and cook them instead so they'd stop bickering.

The moment we were inside, I immediately went to the line but Tay grabbed my hand and led me to the nearest vacant table.

"What do you want? I'll order it for you," he leaned closer for me to hear.

I didn't intend to tell him what I wanted but I was sure he'd never stop bugging me.

"Uh, just a chicken and a serving of sundae."

"Is that all?"

"New. I already ordered your favorite. They'll just send it here."

We both looked at Earth who placed a number on the table.

Tay just sneered at him before going back to the line. I was in the middle of composing a message to my mom when we all heard a loud groan and I could feel my heart racing as I looked at Tay who was clutching his stomach. It looked like he was in so much pain.

"Are you okay??" I tried to not sound too concerned as I approached him and held his arm, but my own voice betrayed me.

"M-my stomach hurts," Tay gripped my arm for support as his face contorted in pain.

"Do you want to home already???"

"No, I think I just need to use the restroom. Can you go with me?"

"Su-"

"I'll go with you, Tay. New you wait for the food here. You're already hungry."

Earth tried to get Tay's hands off my arm, but Tay looked at me with pleading eyes.

"I'll just go with him, Earth. We'll be quick. Come on, Tay."

Tay then wrapped his arm around my neck for support as I aided him out of the fastfood restaurant.

"Doe it really hurt that much?" I asked as he continued wincing in pain, but he didn't answer. "Hang on, okay. We're almost there."

I wrapped my arm tighter around his waist so we could quicken our pace, but Tay suddenly grabbed my hand instead and dragged me somewhere else.

"Hey! What are you doing? I thought your stomach's aching??" I raved in wonder as Tay headed towards the elevator looking all perfectly fine. "Ugh! Seriously Tay! You and your petty tricks!"

"I have to get you away from Earth," he grinned as the elevator doors closed and pressed the button for the ground floor.

"Where are we going? You didn't even bring your car. Earth's gonna look for us, Tay."

He just smiled widely at me whilst tousling my hair.

"I won't be around for 2 weeks for I'll be in New York to check the new branch that we have there. I want to spend your birthday ahead of time since I won't be around by then."

"N-New York?" my voice cracked as the mere mention of the place reminded me of how he left without a word. "Who are you going with?"

"Just me. Well unless you want to go with me."

"A-are you crazy? Why would I?" I sneered as I moved away from him, but he grabbed me by the waist and pulled me towards him.

"I'll be back, I promise. I'll never ever leave without you knowing."

I suppressed a smile as I stared at the elevator doors opening. I felt him pulling me closer to him.

A car stopped in front of us as we got out of the mall.

"Good afternoon, Sirs. Here's the key to your car, Sir Tawan."

"Thank you."

"Seriously, where are you taking me?" I asked again as he opened the passenger seat and let me in, but he just chuckled and pinched my nose before going to the driver's seat.

I didn't have a single clue where we were going but for some reason, I felt safe knowing he was with me.

"There's something I want to show you."

"And where would that be?"

"Tsss. You're quite impatient, aren't you?"

I rolled my eyes at him and decided to just busy myself counting the cars that passed by us. But unlike our previous car rides, he was surprisingly driving slower.

"Wh-what?" I raised an eyebrow as I noticed him smirking out of nowhere.

"Nothing. You're surprisingly quiet today. I'm not used to it."

"Wow, so you're telling me I talk a lot??"

"No, I'm saying you nag a lot."

"Excuse me? It's because you're so annoying, that's why."

We were in the midst of our banter when I felt my phone vibrate.

"Shit."

"What's wrong?"

"Uh, nothing," I gulped as I secretly rejected Earth's call and composed a short message for him.

To: Earth

Sorry, Earth. We had to go back home. Tay couldn't handle the pain anymore. See you.

I crossed my fingers as I sent the message. I knew Earth didn't deserve it, but I couldn't think of any other reason. I couldn't just tell him, 'Hey, I ditched you because Tay dragged me somewhere else which I also wanted to happen' right?

"Is everything alright?"

"Yeah. Everything's fine."

We drove for almost an hour and it was already starting to get dark, but it seemed that we still hadn't arrived at wherever that place was.

"Seriously, are you taking me on a road trip or what?" I asked, quite irritated as I was already starving.

"We're almost there."

And true enough, minutes later, we parked in front of an outpost. A man then greeted us and whispered something to Tay.

"Let's go, New," Tay said as we both went down the car.

I didn't know where we were exactly for all I saw was darkness ahead us. The only light illuminating the area was from the stars and the moon and the light from the outpost.

"Tay, where the hell are we? If this is one of your tricks, I swear I'm gonna bury you alive on this very spot we're standing on."

But he didn't answer and just laughed at me instead.

"Don't you even laugh. I'm not joking! Where on earth is this? I barely see anything."

"Look ahead."

"What?"

"Look ahead."

I huffed a huge amount of air and heeded his words. I knew there was nothing to be afraid of, but knowing Tay, he definitely had something up his sleeves.

But what I saw caught me off guard.

In the middle of God-knows-where was a picnic setup on the back of a pickup truck adorned with different lights.

I immediately looked back at Tay who was grinning from ear to ear.

"Come here," he then grabbed my hand and led me closer to the truck.

"When did you prepare this? You're with me the entire day."

"It's the Tay Tawan Vihokratana you're talking to. I'll always find ways when it comes to you."

"Tsss. Just admit you had people to prepare this."

He just chortled and cupped my face, squeezing it lightly.

"Uii. You're mashing my face," I complained as it seemed that he had no plans of letting my face go.

"Come here," he replied as he helped me get on the back of the truck.

"Here. I had our house chef cook these for you, " he said as he grabbed the picnic basket.

He then got several food containers from the basket and started laying them out on the mattress.

"Are we seriously having a dinner picnic in the middle of nowhere?" I chuckled as I helped him open the containers.

"I originally planned to bring you somewhere quite fancy, but I figured it would be more romantic to spend a night with you under the night sky."

"Tsss. You really have your way with words, don't you?"

"Well, I have to make sure I won't run out of ideas to make you say yes."

"You actually don't have to think of any," I murmured lowly to myself as I suppressed the smile that was starting to creep on my lips.

I feel my breath hitched as Tay grabbed me closer to him and hugged me tighter.

We were lying on the back of the pickup truck just as he wanted to and indeed he was right. I would rather spend a night with him under the stars instead of somewhere fancy.

"What are you thinking?" he asked all of a sudden.

"Hmmm? Nothing."

It was a lie. I was actually bothered with the fact that he would be leaving again.

Yeah, it was just for two weeks but knowing that he wouldn't be around made me sad and worried.

"Wh-when are you leaving for New York?"

"Tomorrow afternoon."

"Do you really have to be there for two weeks?"

"Why? Are you gonna miss me?"

"O-of course not! I'm just happy because you wouldn't be around annoying me."

Okay, another lie.

"Don't worry. I'll call you every day so you won't miss me."

"Who says I'm gonna miss you?"

"Oh, really? Are you sure you wouldn't?"

I gulped as he shifted his position and slightly hovered above me.

"What are you doing??" I asked as he was staring intently at me.

"Just memorizing every part of your face so I wouldn't die missing you every day."

"Tsss," I scoffed as I covered my face with my hands.

"Oh, come on. I want to see your face."

He then gently pried off my hands from my face to which I didn't protest at all.

"Uiii. You could already see my pores. Can you quit staring at me?"

"Then I'll memorize your pores as well."

"What?"

"New."

"H-huh?"

"Forgive me for doing this, but I can't hold it in anymore."

I was confused with what he meant with his apology, but my answer eventually came as he dipped down and pressed his lips against mine.

He didn't move at first. It was as if he was waiting for my confirmation which I gave when I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer.

I was literally not breathing as he started moving his lips against mine. Surprisingly, he was being extra gentle with me that time.

I could feel my heart racing as he traced my lower lip with his tongue and I eventually gave him access when he started thrusting his tongue inside my mouth.

His hands found the hem of my shirt and I shivered the moment his warm hand touched my bare skin.

"T-tay," I groaned in pleasure as his hand found my right nipple and grazed it with his thumb. "Someone might see us."

Okay, that was actually the least of my concern but I couldn't help but be worried by the fact that we were out in the open.

I knew it was shameless of me to whine when he stopped, but I felt like I was about to explode with all the wonders he was doing, only for him abruptly stop.

He didn't say anything. Instead, he touched my neck and that was when I realized the reason he stopped.

"Have you been wearing this all this time?"

I gulped nervously as he held the ring pendant in his hand.

"I-I was afraid I'd lost it again," I quickly reasoned out.

"Does this mean you're actually considering me?"

I quickly evaded his gaze, but he cupped my face and made me look at him.

"I-I'll give you my answer when you come back from New York."

Okay, I wasn't supposed to tell him.

He didn't say anything, instead he dipped down again and kissed me fully on the lips.

"T-taaayy."

The idea of me being wanton was something I couldn't even imagine, but I couldn't help but moan shamelessly as he started kissing my stomach before sucking my nipples alternately.

I didn't know what he was talking about, but I couldn't even ask as he kissed me on the lips again.

"Are you okay?" he asked before nuzzling my neck. It was not our first time doing it, but I wasn't still accustomed to his size.

He didn't move at first. It was like he was waiting for my go signal which I immediately gave when I started moving my hips against his.

The sound of our skin slapping against each other and our guttural moans and groans were the only sound that could be heard in the area.

I rolled back my eyes as I met his every thrust, hitting that very spot that brought thousands of pleasure to my system.

I was already feeling my release and it seemed that Tay felt the same as he thrusted faster and abruptly removed his length from me before lathering my stomach with his essence. He then grabbed my length and helped me make my own.

We were both panting as we stared at each other's eyes. Tay then dropped beside me all sweaty and breathless.
