Chapter 26

The house is decorated colourfully with balloons and ribbons hanging everywhere.. Everyone is busy getting ready.. Lucas and cabel were setting the table and lily came with cake in her hand.. Felix followed her with tray full of cookies ..

Athy and helena are arguing  about which hairband to use and athiea  walked out of the room bored by her mom and aunt ignoring her and fighting over a hairband.. She cutely  toddled  towards lucas  and grabbed his big hand  with her small ones ..he looked down at her  and smiled brightly ..

" atheia.. Come here .. My daughter looks extra cute  in this dress.." he said as he carried her in his arms..

"wow.. Our athiea looks like a princess.." cabel said tapping her cheeks and she giggled.

"not like.. My daughter is really a princess.." lucas said carrying her high in the air and she giggled happily..

Hearing Her laughter filled everyone's heart with happiness.

" yeah.. Yeah.. She  surely is  dad's little princess" cabel said smiling at how happy lucas looked staring at his daughter..

Lucas lowered her down and kissed her cheek.. She leaned closer and returned the kiss and he chuckled at her cuteness.

"aunty look.. she started to kiss back if we kiss her.. Helly taught this to her .." cabel said showing that to lily and she smiled happily.

" oh my.. Our athiea is So adorable" lily smiled happily.

Lucas stared at his daughter deep in thoughts..

"lucas.." felix called him and he snapped out if it.

"what are you thinking about..?" he asked.

" it's just that.. Is it okay for her to return back  kisses ..? What  if she starts   do that to everyone..?" lucas asked and everyone chuckled.

"you are afraid what if atheia kiss some other guy in future..?" cabel asked giggling.

"hell..no.. I won't let her.." lucas said hugging his daughter tight..

" you can't have her for all your life lucas .. When she grew up.. she will find someone she likes and get married to him..." felix shrugged with a smirk.

"I won't give my daughter to any punk. "

lucas said in a irritated tone. Lily and cabel started laughing  at how overprotective he is over his daughter.

" you punk... This is how I felt while giving my daughter to you.. Haha now I am happy that you Will suffer the same things as me... You will  came to Know  how much I hated giving my daughter to you.."

felix said happily smirking  at him . Lucas stared at him with a annoyed face.

" atheia.. You shouldn't kiss anyone other  than  our family OK..? "

he told his daughter in a serious tone and everyone burst out laughing.

" you think she can understand what you are saying..?" cabel said in between laughing.

"what you guys are talking about..?" athy asked as she and helena finally came to a conclusion.

She Sat beside lucas and placed a cute tiara on her daughter's head.

"now she looks like a real princess.." lily said smiling happily.

"yeah.. Hehe" helena giggled and they cutted the  cake with athy holding athiea's hand and lucas holding athy's hand and fed each other..

"pfft.. is it tasty..?" lucas  asked athiea as she sucked his finger eating the cream.

"like mother like daughter.."

helena said giggling as she noticed how her face becomes bright while eating cake like her friend's.

They celebrated her birthday . everyone was so happy, thier day is filled with laughter. Everyone gave presents to athiea and played games.. Athiea fell asleep on athy's lap and she took him to thier room and patted her tucking her inside the bed sheet..

"happy birthday athiea.. Thank you for being born.." she said  and kissed her forehead. . ..

" lucas your phone kept ringing for a while now.." athy said handing over his mobile to him.

"huh..?  I didn't noticed.." he said and swiped through his call log.

"daddy.. Dis..? "

A cute voice averted his attention and he smiled looking at athiea  who is sitting on his lap.

"it's elephant.. It has a large trunk and big flat ears.. They are the largest living land animals.."

he said in a soft voice  to his daughter who is staring at the image of elephant with curious eyes.

"waah.. Atheia wants to shee eleppant" she cutely said and he chuckled.

"hmm... then..shall we go to zoo on the weekend..?" lucas mumbled out his thought loud and athiea stood on his lap turning towards him.

"joo..? Really..? Are we going..?" she asked cupping his face.

'I have work.. I was just  thinking about it.. But shit.. I said it out loud..'

he thought and sighed. He was about to say something to her but athiea knews what her dad is going to say from his sigh so she beat him to that

" pease...daddy..pease..hmm..?  athiea wants to go to joo.." she said with puppy eyes cupping his face. Lucas who is weak when it comes to a certain jeweled puppy eyes.. gives up and nodded  a yes.

"yayy...we are going to joo.. Athiea is happy.." she said hugging him and kissed his cheek.

"haah.. I can never say no to you .. Yeah.. Yeah.. let's go.. who cares about work..?" he said and she giggled.

"what  are you two  taking about?" athy asked as she entered  the room.

"mommy mommy.. We are going to joo" she said happily..

"huh.. Zoo..? Why all of a sudden ..?" athy asked as she Sat beside them.

"athiea.. Wants to see  eleppant.. Daddy said we can go " she said cutely. Athy noticed lucas's expression and giggled.

"so  you lost to her  this time too I see .." she said giggling. he sighed and smiled at her.

"don't you said you have work..? why are you still here..?" she asked and  he jerked off from the bed.

" I totally forgot.. I will get going bye" he said and they both waved bye  to him.

"mommy.. Look at this.."

athiea showed athy her picture book and repeated what lucas told her to her mom. She listened to her and smiled happily at how bright her daughter is. ...

" caby.. That guy.. Did you find who he is..?" lucas asked as he entered the office room..

" huh... That one who helped us  with whitey's plans ..?"

"hmm.."

"I am still searching lucas.. That guy is weird.. Last year he sent us every details of whitey's plan.. He continued to do so for about four to five times..thanks to him we were  able to be live in peace.. But who he is..? why he is doing this..? We can't find anything.. " cabel said

" that's why I want to meet him..i am curious about what's his intention for helping me "lucas said as he sit on his rolling chair.

" felix is also trying.. We can find out soon " cabel said.

" come to think of it.. What did you told felix..? "

" haah.. Don't remind me that .. He is whining to me everyday.. I already said I don't want to take over the company .. I just want to continue singing.. " lucas said as he leaned back on his chair and sighed.

"I knew.. But think about it again lucas.. He worked for so long.. He wants to rest in home and spent time with family.. He is getting older.. You can sing even if you take over the company right..?" cabel said and lucas glared at him.

"you.. I am unfriending you today.. Why are you taking felix's side..? Aren't you my friend..?" he asked pouting and cabel chuckled.

"please understand lucas.. You are saving your father in  law as well as your best friend...if you deny.. felix will start whining to me... You knew I can't handle pressure so please do me this favour.." he said and smiled sheepishly.

"I knew this.. No wonder you supported felix.. You selfish jerk.."

lucas scoffed at him and their banter continued. . . . As he promised lucas took athiea and athy to zoo and they enjoyed their time sighting on  all the animals.. Athiea was so happy and ran around looking at every animal in awe.. Lucas and athy was happy looking at her enjoying ..

"should we take her to aquarium next time..?" athy asked and turned to see  lucas looking  at her with a blank face.

"pfft.. Fine fine.. Let's go when you want to..." she said giggling.

"haah.. She is really like you.. You guys are over  energytic..so i find it hard to keep up with you ..". He said and sighed.

" then just get used to it" she said smiling at him..

"you knew what.. The First time I stayed outside all day was.. when I met you during summer vacation.. You really made me do all sort of things I never imagined I will do in my life ..." he said with a smile rewinding the past .

" pfft..it looks like I made my lazy husband do everything I wanted huh.. "she said and giggled.

" hey.. I am not lazy.. I am Just.. Saving up my energy.. Selective participation.. you know " lucas shrugged and she didn't stopped giggling.

" mommy..daddy..come here.. "athiea shouted and they walked towards her.

. . . " lucas... " cabel shouted as he ran towards him..

" slow down.. What happen? "he asked from the garden.

" I.. Haah.. I found out..  that boy..  "he said panting and  lucas stared at  him confused.

" oh.. The  boy who helped us..? " he asked finally getting what he is saying..

" yeah.. His name is Aaron and he is working as a part time hacker ..

"Aaron..?" lucas asked in a low voice deep in thoughts.

"Yeah and  the boss he is working for.. He work only behind the scenes and he  is quiet a powerful guy with many connections.." cabel  said .

"hmm.. It's obvious from how  he took my information without my knowledge and send it back to me.." lucas  said.

"   but he is  only studying in high school I am surprised.. He is too smart for his age  isn't he?" cabel said with a smile and lucas nodded his head with a serious face.

" cabel... Can I able to meet him..?  "he asked and cabel thought about it for a while.

" I don't know  lucas.. I still can't get his contact details or where he lives.. "cabel said

" then let's try to find more about him.. I have to meet him.. "lucas said in a serious tone  and cabel nodded his head confused.
