Our loud laughs filled the atmosphere of the calming night as Kai quickly searched for a tissue to wipe his face since he just got a spaghetti coming out from his nose due to laughing too much.

I was holding my stomach already and I could feel some tears from the edge of my eyes as I wiped it once we calmed down a bit.

A question popped up in my mind suddenly and I decided to ask it out now at the one and only Einstein of our group Taehyun to see if he could answer my curiousity that I've been thinking of lately.

"Yah Taehyun-ah, your smart brain works 24 hours right? If you do then might as well you answer my question that's been stuck in my head these days. If we sit, do we say our butts sitting on the seat or our butts lying down on the seat? " I nudged Taehyun's elbow and he averted his attention from his phone which he just checked on for any messages to me before making this wondering face.

"In my op-"

"Butts we are speaking, how many butts do we actually have Taehyun-ah?" Kai asked while chewing his meatball he haven't finished since just now.

"It's 'speaking of butts ' not 'butts we are speaking '. For me I would say that our butts are lying down and we have two butts. One butt is like incomplete so you got to have two butts. One butt is the left side and the right one is butt number two so both of it makes it two butts, we can't say that both of it as one because it's splited into two "Taehyun stood up and made a conclusion after pushing his glasses up to the bridge of his nose looking like a handsome nerd answering the teacher's question.

It's quite rare of him to wear glasses as he usually wear his contact lenses but he still looks handsome with or without it.

"But don't we have one butt?" Yeonjun protested as he stood up from his seat and shook his head fast.

"Explain in your own words and elaborate your answer please "Taehyun instructed like a teacher, now turning cool as the rest of us that was sitting 'OOOH' at the two guys.

"Well, imagine if there are two men standing beside each other-"

"UWUU what are they doing standing together?" Soobin asked as Yeonjun bit his lip trying to be calm.

"Just....standing there. Okay let's resume, so in that case, do we say they have four butts? No right? It's still two butts. A butt is the whole butt and if you ask how many buttcheeks do we have then it's two buttcheeks but butts is always one for a person. You just can't simply come up to a group with 6 people saying they have twelve butts right? "he made an explanation while illustrating it using his hands as Taehyun nodded his head, probably agreeing at his words maybe.

"Are you saying that the 6 people is us? because in my opinion we have two butts like taehyun said... "Kai spoke up his opinion siding with Taehyun.

Though Yeonjun's explanation seems convincing but I think Taehyun's opinion makes more sense for me as I scooted closer Taehyun and clung onto his arm like Kai did to his other arm indicating we're on his side.

"Good try Yeonjun hyung but Soobin and me agreed that we're trusting the brain of the group for tonight "Beomgyu giggled as he and Soobin came to us too making Yeonjun stomped his feet pouting his lips because no one agrees what he just said.

Look, we have an angry cute duckling stomping like a dinosaur :))

"But guys! We have one butt for real! Then I shall consider myself having one butt while you all have two butts! Logics guys...gosh"

"mark my words with your colorful highlighters, Yeonjun says he has one butt "I shouted as we all laughed and I caught Yeonjun laughing a bit too since he can't stand it too.

"but wait guys, I think Yeonjun's right... What if people with two butts are actually the ones who have plastic butts layered above their real butts, then it's two butts! But my butt is original so I have one butt! "Kai suddenly stopped and made a sudden new assumption.

"are you sure that's how plastic surgery goes-"

"OKAY OFF YOU GO TO YEONJUN. NOW LET'S DEBATE ABOUT HOW MANY HOLES DO STRAWS HAVE"

I got my bed ready as I lifted up the comforter of my bed a bit so I can be under it after I settled myself on my bed.

I smiled as the smell of my old favorite scent could be scented in the whole room even in my own pillow.

The door of my room clicked open as came in a person in his new navy blue silky pajamas with his pillow bopping his head side to side in search of something when our eyes met.

He immediately smiled as he walked in, walking in a different way that I found it cute of him to do that.

"we already have seperate rooms and seperate beds but why are you still waddling like a duck going to my bedroom?" I raised an eyebrow and he let out a big grin showing his teeth before he came closer to me.

"Because sleeping separately doesn't feel home to me "he answered in an innocent voice.

I gave him the look and his face turned into a frown as he swayed his body a bit side to side.

"Why? Don't you want to sleep with your boyfriend? "he asked in an upset tone as I chuckled and opened my arms so he would come to me.

"Awee come on here my baby bear"

He ran to me without wasting his chance and made him self comfortable under the comforter with me beside him as I played with his curly messy black hair while he traced my sides and drew invisible circles on it.

"I'm a bit dissapointed actually that I couldn't find a single photo of my old self in this house. How am I supposed to remember my other memory like my close family because so far, the only person I knew from my past life that I met in this new life is Doyoung, my manager from the restaurant back in Daegu. I remembered him because he's an old classmate of mine. Maybe my identity and the identity of the people who are close with me were erased while the unnecessary ones or the people who I am not close to are still kept in my head "I blurted up all of my thoughts that's been disturbing me all this time.

"But did you found at least a small clue? Like an address or what at here. Maybe it could lead you to someone but then if you can't it's okay because we can search for them tomorrow while we search for a job to work at the moment. So cheer up okay? I'll help you find them "He cheered me up as he brought the smile back on my lips because of his small actions.

"I haven't found one yet but I'll try "I answered his question just now before I snuggled closer to him as he closed his eyes and pulled me in his embrace.

I was about to open my mouth and talk a bit but the soft snore made me shut my mouth as I chuckled and closed my eyes, slowly drifting off to my own dreamland.

"So you're saying that you live at Seoul in your past life but you know that it wasn't the hometown or place where you're originally from?"

"Yes okay enough with me, let's part our ways and get our interviews done okay? Then after that we'll meet here and go for a stroll around or maybe go window shopping "I suggested and he nodded his head agreeing with me.

"Wait isn't that Yeonjun?" He glanced behind me as I turned around asking where is he and before I knew it he pecked my cheek and didn't leave my cheek but instead he still have his face near mine. His grin is so powerful that I can feel it without looking at him.

"are you sure you're not interested in Yeonjun hyung? Because you seemed to be talking about him all the time and bragged about him at me. You know that makes me feel nervous..."he pulled his face away as I sighed heavily.

"I told you I'm not interested in him even a bit, we're just bestfriends since months ago and nothing more than that. That won't happen and he's just so kind and a sweetheart that's why I always talk about him "I cleared myself as he nodded slowly with his lips carved into a thin line, showing his dimples before he ruffled my hair.

"Then I'll be going. Good luck Lion-sshi "

With that, he left to the cafe where he requested to have an interview for the vacant job that only need one person left few days ago and was called to come and have an interview with the manager while I was called to have an interview at the department store that occupied 5 floors of the humongous mall we're at since they are in need of female workers to work at the clothing department.

My mind just can't simply forget about his words just now and felt a bit worry and curious about why did he ask that.

The interview didn't take that much time than I expected and it went pretty well and they also offered the perfect salary for that job though it's not that much big but good enough for a living. Now all I need to do is wait for a call from them whether I am taken for the job or not.

Guess Beomgyu finished first since he was the first one to arrive there and was waiting for me.

I grabbed him by his shoulders from the back, taking him in full surprise as I changed my voice in a deep tone greeting him in that weird voice.

"I know it's you Rayeon-ah, let's go! I found a great store just now that we can start with "he laughed as I linked my arms with him and make him lead the way to the store he meant.

I thought he was going to recreate like last time and embarrass me because that prankster side of him never left him alone even on our dates but instead he brought me to a store that sells all kakao friends merch and pulled me to this plushies section.

I released my arm from him as he reached up for this bear Plushie that is lying down on its stomach as he gave it to me with this big smile on his face.

"This character has the same name as you. Instead of you being with Yeonjun all the time, bring him with you so it means that you two are not alone only. Rayeon and Ryan... Aish I ship both of you lions "He giggled as I glared at him but took the plush anyways and hugged it.

"What do you mean two lions, I'm the only lion here "I muttered as he poked at the plush I'm holding continuously.

"This little guy is a lion, lion-sshi. It's not a bear. I'll pay so better come to the counter before I change my mind "he said and left me to the counter as I stood there speechless.

I came back to my senses and ran to the counter so he won't actually change his mind and let me pay for it.

Hours passed and the only thing we bought is the Plushie and a men's perfume that I bought for Beomgyu since I promised him back in Daegu that I'll buy him one though he actually refused at first but agree after many tries.

He thought that I was joking last time but I wasn't and that's why I saved some of my money to buy him a branded perfume so he can just use baby powder at home only. I just want him to smell like a baby at home around me so no, I don't want other girls to see him like a baby :))

At least we went home happy even though we only bought two things.

We are already now comfortable at Seoul after adjusting ourselves with the new environment after a whole week flew past us as I fixed the collar of my work uniform and fixed my hair into a neat bun infront of the large mirror at the living room.

I applied a thin layer of lipstick to make a gradient color with it as I fixed it a bit and was feeling satisfied with my look now.

"BOO!"

I'll be honest but that sudden sound really scared me so I turned around and glared at Beomgyu who giggled at me in his pajamas with his camera hanging on his neck and eyes still looking a bit sleepy.

"Aish you startled me! Why are you up so early Gyu? Your work is not that early than me so get some enough rest first, You look tired so go back to sleep okay? "I patted his fluffy hair but he shook his head.

"I'm wide awake now "he widened his eyes to prove that he's not sleepy as I chuckled and pinched his cheek gently.

"why are you so early actually? You know I want to wake up earlier than you so I can see you before you go work. I also want to take a picture of you too aish" he groaned and pushed me from the shoulders so I can sit on the sofa.

He scrunched up his nose and made a thinking face probably thinking where to put me.

"I'm too sleepy to think where is the suitable place to take a picture of you but anyways just sit and do your usual pose which was your peace sign "He said as he backed away from me a bit and brought up his camera to the height of his face.

My both hands were brought up on my face near my eyes as both of it made a peace sign making him frown.

"Aigoo now smile for the camera Mrs lion! I need to capture this moment so I can look at it and say 'Oh, my girl's first part time job after moving to Seoul is a sales person at the mall and I'm the barista working near there too!' " his eyes sparkled as he said that and I can't help but nod at him and closed shut my eyes and put up a big smile while doing that pose.

While he was fanning the Polaroid to make the picture appear, I took a deep sharp breathe in and gathered my courage to ask him this one question that I need to be prepared no matter what the answer is.

"Beomgyu-ya... How many polaroids are left with you? "

"I'm not sure but it's still a lot though. Maybe 21 now? I didn't have that much time to take pictures that lot these time but maybe soon. Oh how I miss taking photos of new places "he smiled and rubbed his camera that he treasured the most.

"That's good to hear at least. But still..." I whispered to myself.

Me and Beomgyu were talking casually while walking after a long day of working as its finally time for us to have a rest.

Usually at night we will be so busy with our work but now we're not a highschool student working for a part-time job anymore, we get to work during the day and have plenty of rest at night and if we are done with our shift, we might as well go back home on the afternoon.

My legs halted when my eyes caught a glimpse of a figure pushing a large cart across the street because I have this bad feeling.

The person collapsed as I pushed my plastic bag at beomgyu's chest so he can hold it as I ran to the person to check if he or she is okay.

It was an old man and he is already unconscious as I pulled out my phone to call the ambulance after placing his head on my lap so his head won't hurt. Beomgyu ran to me as I asked him to park the old man's cart at an empty space so it won't get stolen by someone while I wait for the ambulance which arrived minutes later.

I can't keep my eyes off the poor old man as I heaved out a sigh feeling this weird feeling that I couldn't figure out what is it.

We decided to follow with them to the hospital as the old man was rushed to the ER immediately as soon as they received him from the ambulance.

Both of us were asked to wait while they check up on him as my feet kept on tapping on the floor nonstop while I looked at the wall clock, having this wave of worry in me for some reason I don't know.

The doctor approached us telling the news about him that he just fainted due to exhaustion from his old age and overworking himself. He is also lacked in nutrients and that's also one of the causes why he passed out.

"may I ask but are you both related to the patient?"

"No but we're just a passerby who saw him faint just now "Beomgyu answered as the doctor told us that they are trying to find the relative or children of the man but couldn't since he is not a resident at Seoul and it would take some time to find his information.

I volunteered to ask the old man since he's already conscious now and it's an excuse for me to ask him something as I am also feeling a bit curious about this person. I just can't seem to sort out my memory and recall something or maybe he's just someone I saw in my dream randomly or what but whatever it is I need to make sure if my instincts are right or not.

I knocked on the door of his ward after he was sent in a room few minutes ago by some nurses before letting myself in with beomgyu trailing behind me.

I greeted the man as he averted his gaze at me from the window before carving a smile at me.

"nice to meet you sir, my name is Im Rayeon and I'm one of the person who took you to the hospital " I bowed and greeted him in a polite way and Beomgyu also did the same too introducing himself as he nod his head a bit.

"thank you for bringing me here fast and may I ask what brings you here? "

"Well the doctor asked to call your relative or children but unfortunately they couldn't find their contact so we volunteer to ask you myself. Can you tell us any of their number so we can tell the nurse working at the counter to dial it?" Beomgyu questioned slowly, afraid if he didn't catch my words or hear my words clearly.

"I don't have any that contacts me often, I'm a strong person it's okay . I can deal it myself. I have one but he doesn't know how to pick up the house phone so it would be useless to call. Besides, I was about to go back to my hometown tomorrow but how unlucky I am to faint at the middle of my mini mission of finding my precious jewel "He answered, still with that bright smile but I could hear my heard cracking a bit hearing that his relative especially his children didn't contact him often.

"maybe we can help you go back to your hometown sir. And what jewel are you searching for that makes you not consume enough nutrients? You know it's bad if you have not enough nutrients and also you overwork yourself that made you faint " I convinced him also feeling timid thinking about how serious it can get if he didn't take good care of himself.

"That precious jewel is not an ordinary jewel. It's my favorite person that I've been searching for and that person also acts like you Miss Rayeon, being worried for me in little things. I'll be really thankful for you if you take me back to my hometown. I live at Andong but I'm afraid that would cause you two a lot of trouble as its too far away from Seoul " he frowned a bit as I reached for his hand that is already wrinkled because of his old age and held it gently.

"As long as you're safe back to Andong then we're okay. We'll accompany back you there since we don't know if you'll faint again or not " Beomgyu spoke up from behind me just before I can say a word as I turned my head at him who came beside me and held his hand that I held, with a face that clearly tells him that he really wanted to help too.

"Wait nooo you both are not coming alone! I'm coming with you no matter what, who knows what would happen to you Rayeon-sshi. Maybe a real lion eating you now since last time you drowned in the water! " Kai made a fuss as he ran around the house searching for his things to pack as Soobin poked his head from the bathroom with a toothbrush still on his mouth.

"where? Are you leaving us both again Huening-ah? I'm coming too since school starts next year and it's literally December now. Are you going to England for Christmas?" Soobin stared at us with his eyes sparkling and mouth shaped like an O making him look so innocent.

"we're not going to England Soobin hyung. We're going to Andong and you're paying the trip since you got your money from Ha-Min who borrowed your money last time that's enough to pay two tickets for the KTX from Seoul to Andong " Taehyun appeared from nowhere with his phone on his hand as Soobin threw his gaze at him, giving him a puzzled look.

"And who would I give that one ticket to mister Genius? "

"Simple, me because you two aren't going to leave me alone here. So what time are we going to Andong? "Taehyun asked Beomgyu after lifting his gaze from his phone.

"around 4 am in the morning we'll leave the house and have breakfast together at a cafe nearby the hospital after we help the grandfather discharge then off we go on our long journey. Remember to set your alarms and pack your things and please don't bring too many because we're probably staying there two days and one night as our first vacation too and also to help the grandfather to go home safely "Beomgyu reminded as the three of them nodded before continuing their work.

"Hey, we'll have an extra person tagging along with us tomorrow "

Yeonjun scoffed as he unbuttoned the first few buttons of his shirt until he unbutton all of it before he threw his shirt somewhere leaving only his tank top on while eyeing Beomgyu, feeling competitive in this situation making many screams heard around us and little kids cheering.

Beomgyu rolled his eyes and bit his lip  in frustration before he took a cloth and tied it on his forehead as a bandana whilst glaring at Yeonjun.
