Maze in the mirror- TOMORROWXTOGETHER

+ this song always makes me cry and relieved and I really love this song that Beomgyu wrote (if I'm not mistaken it's him) because I can relate with the lyrics and in my case, my mirror is the place where I stare at myself and say everything is fine when I'm not okay. Looking at the mirror just makes me realize I should cherish myself more.

"Choose now. It's either me...or him"

I looked at both of them and both have confident looks at them but Beomgyu looked more confident which I assumed he's really confident that I'll choose him over Yeonjun.

Sorry honey but I ain't choosing you at the moment since I'm too embarrassed and a bit upset to even face you.

I pushed Beomgyu's hand that is holding my hand slowly and Yeonjun grinned a bit knowing he won.

I scoffed and released Yeonjun's hand too and walked away in a speedy way when I saw Kai walking crossing the zebra cross about to reach the same sidewalk where we're at.

I linked arms with Kai and whispered at him to walk faster too since they are chasing after us now.

"Why are those two chasing us? I don't remember doing any sin or messing up with any of them "the angel panicked but I shook my head fast.

"just walk fast. Beomgyu suddenly asked me to choose between them for god knows why so I chose none of them. Anyways I hope you didn't see what happened just now "I groaned and he stared at me with a blank face.

"Good then. Just Bring me to you guys at where you hang out, I know you're hanging out without me again " I whispered half scolding him and he gave me a sheepish smile.

"But shouldn't you choose your soulmate first before someone else? " he wiggled his eyebrows as I glared at him.

"you wouldn't understand a girl's feelings, sheesh I'll tell you later what happened "

"To the left again YES THAT'S IT UGH THIS IS JUST SO SATISFYING TO SEE " Taehyun ordered as Soobin put up a banner with the help of me too as we taped the corners properly so it won't fall off from the wall.

"so what's next? Ahh where's the mic.."Taehyun asked and ticked on the small box of his checklist that is almost finished as Soobin lifted me up slowly from the waist by stepping on a stepping stool since I was standing on high stacks of boxes just so I can reach the ideal height to put the banner.

There is only one ladder and the other students need it to put up other decorations on the hall so we just use boxes and a stepping stool.

As you can see, we're actually trying to help to put up decorations and whatsover for tomorrow which is Taehyun's election as the school's president. Yes that guy was chosen.

And I guessed that's why Yeonjun said that they are hanging out near the location of his hotel when it's actually a shop selling party props decorations.

Soobin placed me down gently on the floor as I thanked him but I couldn't help but to notice Beomgyu's sharp gaze at both me and Soobin from the corner.

I ignored his gaze and went to his direction and gave Kai a pair of scissors that he asked me to fetch for him so he can cut more paper hearts. What's going on in his mind is a mystery. Like who cuts red paper hearts when everyone is busy setting up the hall. I assumed that he's just too bored while sitting cross legged on the floor.

It's not like he's lazy to help but WE asked him to keep an eye on Beomgyu because well... He keeps on trying to get all my work.

Like for example, I would be on duty to check the projector, the sounds and everything technical that would be used tomorrow to make sure they work fine with Kai even though he doesn't actually go to my school because he's just an angel in disguise but then Beomgyu would come out of nowhere and let me sit down and just watch while he do the work.

But that's not it, he would accidentally changed the projector's setting and even accidentally dropped the mic which causes the whole hall filled with a high pitched sound. You know that sound when you dropped the mic.

And that's why we asked Kai to 'babysit' Beomgyu instead.

"I told you, you don't need to hang the banner with him because you're wearing a knee length dress. Don't you know there are many perverts at here and why don't you want to tie your hair? Don't you feel hot and irritated when your hair is on your view?"Beomgyu muttered as loud so I can hear since Kai is just sitting beside him but the only difference is that Beomgyu is standing with arms crossed.

I could see that Kai seemed uncomfortable and seemed like he wanted to say something to him but scared to even say it since he's in a really bad mood.

"Can I just ask you one question and please don't be a bomb and explode because I know you're in a really bad mood but why are you wearing a pink apron? "Kai asked, trying to look away while pointing at the apron Beomgyu wears since he looked scared to even glance at Beomgyu who's in his cold mode.

Well I was going to ask that too but I just kept it to myself. Like why didn't he took it off just now and instead ran after me on the streets wearing an apron and to top it off, it's pink in colour.

" fashion " Beomgyu groaned as the angel facepalmed himself with a small smile.

"Humans do have a weird sense fashion that is unbelievable. Who knows the next fashion trend will be wearing a shower cap "He chuckled but actually secretly directing that to Beomgyu.

"probably but come on, don't say more or he'll be bombgyu in a minute "I joked and instead of Beomgyu glaring at me, his eyes shone with small sparkles in it looking at me.

Dood what's wrong with you-

"It's been a long time since you joked like that "He smiled as I sighed and gave him a sheepish smile.

"I just don't like joking like that anymore "I confessed and I could see his facial expression dropped 360 degrees.

"you're doing it again. This is not you Rayeon-ah...please don't be like this "He begged but now I could hear his voice cracked a bit and as soon as my eyes met with his, I could sight those now glassy eyes looking at me sadly.

"it's not like I want to. I need to, let's just talk later okay? Yeonjun probably needs my help at there since he's been getting swarmed with people until now "I said softly and walked away on my way to Yeonjun, trying to hold back my tears though it's painful but I don't want to show my tears to anyone again now.

"YEON HERE YOU ARE!" Yeonjun shouted as I wiped a tear that accidentally rolled down and looked up only to found him running to me fast and wrapped his arm around my shoulder, bringing me close to him.

I actually am not really that close with Yeonjun and was not ready for any physics contact like I always do with my other three best friends but in this situation, I am mentally exhausted to even argue or say anything. All I wanted is just to cry alone.

"Hey you okay babe? "he asked nearing his face to me as I closed my face with both hands so I won't see his face that close.

Okay that actually alarmed me the fact that he called me babe. No one ever called me that and he said that so easily.

"Who's your babe. I ain't anyone's babe "I gathered up my courage to open a bit space between my fingers and glared at him weakly as I am still hiding my face.

"Aigoo...be mine then, I don't mind that"He awed at me and hugged me, patting my back and rubbing it in circles as my eyes widened immediately at his actions.

"WOAAH LOOK, A NEW COUPLE BEING SWEET RIGHT NOW "one of the school prefect shouted from afar as some of the other prefects teased us too.

"you two are meant to be as soulmates. Just by your names, I can already feel that...you two are going to be together. Aish I'm so jealous, Yeonjun and Rayeon makes Yeonyeon couple "a girl that is the class monitor of my class squealed as her friends agreed too.

"aish stop it, you're making her uncomfortable but I do agree that we met in a weird situation. Who knows what's the future is holding for us "Yeonjun said as I pushed him off fast and shook my head at all of them.

"No no we are not a couple and my soulmate is probably not him" I opposed strongly but  they just can't seem to stop saying 'UWUU' and said that I'm just lying so we won't get caught dating.

Like for real, he is not my soulmate. Even if I do date him then it's like taking care of someone else's future partner.

Oh wait that gives me an idea, I think that is a brilliant idea for a caption on a post, #takingcareofsomeone'ssoulmate #pleaseclaimyoursoulmate.

"But whatever you say, I still like the idea of Yeonyeon couple, it's just so cute "Another boy commented as I could feel my cheeks getting hot looking at Yeonjun but then a sudden force yanked me so I could turn around from Yeonjun to face the newcomer.

"I think that's enough for you all kids. There's probably someone in her mind already and please don't invade and assume anything suddenly "

I was beyond relieved that the angel came to my rescue but then I noticed that he is signalling something too at me with his eyes.

I looked behind him and I could see the door swinging open after someone went out but suddenly realized that Beomgyu is nowhere to be seen.

"Beomgyu?BEOMGYU-YA "I panicked as I shouted and rushed to the door but it was too late.

I washed my face with the cold running water on the sink, washing my face from my dried tears after taking a shower as I stared long at the mirror.

This time the situation is getting more worse and out of hand as Beomgyu didn't returned home at all. It was nerve wrecking and disappointing as I was waiting for 5 hours at the door with a slice of cake I bought from a bakery to cheer him up and also I requested some writings on the small cake that says 'I'll wait for you to come home love' which I requested those since everytime he left me alone at home, he'll say 'Wait for me to come home' which I always do everytime since the day I stepped my foot in his apartment.

I would often leave early from work and wait for him at the door and greet him who would hug me yet I didn't say anything at him.

Adding the name 'love ' is actually a confession as I can't just stay here and hold my feelings all the time around him. I've had enough time already of sorting my feelings out and months passed but now I realized my crush turned into my first love.

I lighted up a single candle too at that time but time passed and I have to put it out and just put the slice of cake away in the fridge in heartbroken.

He really didn't come home.

All night, I slept on the front door with my back rested on the wall hugging his blue camera he left and cried myself to sleep.

Back to reality, I started my day with no mood and wore my school uniform and a black hoodie layering it after a long period of time of not wearing it. I tied my hair in a messy bun and didn't careless as I dragged my feet to the place where all of my belongings were.

Beomgyu's school uniform and bag dissapeared which I thought that he took it earlier with him and I was too stupid to not even notice that it was taken.

I decided to pack all of my useless stuffs including all those dresses, stacks of makeup but deciding only to keep some simple ones, heels and whatsover to store it deep inside the closet, not even wanting to see it ever again as it changed me so much.

I felt unmotivated and exhausted as I fetched my school bag and wore the hood of my hoodie up to my head to hide my gloomy face as I left the apartment after making sure all appliances were turned off and after locking the door.

Breakfast is nothing to me as I walked alone, plugging my earphones to my ears that is playing some ballad songs that matches my current mood now.

I arrived school safely after some time and was planning to go straight ahead to class.

My shoulder bumped with someone as I looked at the person only to discover that it's the person whom I've waited all night for his return but now having his arm around the girl who I used to adore and tried to be.

He looked rather alarmed but decided to hide it and continue talking with Nana as he walked away with her on the way to the library. I looked back and bit my lips so hard to prevent myself from letting my tears streaming down.

Guessed he stayed the night in her place all along while I am there waiting without getting enough sleep.

It's not like I can control him.

It's his choice.

His life I say.

I couldn't take it as I bursted out in silent tears and all I want to do now is run, hide. Instead of running, I increased the speed of my usual walking with one hand pulling my hood down more to cover up my tears, going to the nearest girl's restroom as soon as possible.

"Yeon? It's been a long time since you wear-wait... Are you okay? "I was about to walk past someone but turns out it was one of my own best friend Soobin as he stopped me and tried to pull back my hood to see my face.

I slapped his hand away harshly and ran from him while he called for me but it's the least I could do to not make myself look weak infront of them.

"Attention to all students, please proceed to the school's main hall immediately for the assembly "

The sudden announcement made us puzzled as I gave Taehyun a questioning look about why didn't he tell us earlier that the assembly would be held early.

"I supposed that the principal asked them to do the assembly and to proceed with the ceremony earlier without them as they are having a big meeting for the exams until 9 later outside the school?" he seemed unsure too and being the future school president he is, he asked all of us to line up in two lines before going to the main hall while he would check on at the announcement room to question the announcer if there is anything that he himself wasn't notified.

As predicted, the main hall will be fully packed with students as we entered and because of this, we ended up standing randomly at places since all of the students are talking with each other from other classes and not in a line.

I have no one to find so I just repel myself from the crowd to the corner only to have someone grasping onto my hand.

"are you okay Yeon? You seemed off today "Soobin spoke up and I sighed with a nod.

"I'm fine for now. Thank you for asking Soobs. Any idea about why is the assembly and Taehyun's election ceremony was moved earlier at this hour? "I changed the topic and he scrunched his nose and looked up as like thinking before averting his gaze back at me.

"No idea but I have a really bad feeling about this 'assembly'. There are no teachers monitoring us right now and even all of the prefects weren't notified about the changes "his words made sense because I also have a bad hunch about this assembly that doesn't seemed right.

Right after I said that, Taehyun came barging into the door with a face that I couldn't even express and read but before he could speak something, someone shouted from the stage which caught all of our attention.

"OKAY OKAY SETTLE DOWN STUDENTS. I GATHERED ALL OF YOU HERE BECAUSE I HAVE SOMETHING TO SHOW ALL OF YOU AND BEFORE THAT, I WOULD LIKE TO THANK OUR GUEST OF HONOR WHO WOULD BE OUR MAIN SUBJECT TODAY" a boy shouted as the main hall is now filled with whispers and murmurs.

I gave Soobin the look that says 'We need to stop this ' and he agreed as the both of us ran to Taehyun to drag him with us.

"the announcer was forced to say the announcement just now because there is a group that threatened her to do make this assembly happen "Taehyun explained fast but we already knew this thing is nothing but a fake assembly because of the unusual sudden announcement.

"Now all we have to do is plug out all of the wires that is connected to the microphone that boy is holding and turned off the projector after unconnecting all of their access to the projector so this 'assembly ' would not happen " I told the both of them and they agreed with me as we split up and I would be the one to to cut of the connections that would be shown on the projector.

I searched everywhere and found a laptop laid open but the projector wasn't connected to it.

"ladies and gentlemen, let's welcome our guest of honor today who just took my girl away from me without any regrets, Choi Beomgyu "The boy announced as I turned my head to the stage which now reveals Beomgyu kneeling on the middle of the stage with some boys surrounding him each with a bucket as my heart dropped.

The projector screen showed Beomgyu who's currently being filmed now and looking down on his feet as a bucket of mop water mixed with something in it was dumped above his head earning some laughs from the group who's on the stage creating a big scene.

There is some students in the crowd laugh also whilst pointing at him and a part of them have a pity look on them.

I gritted my teeth and curled my fists into a tight ball as my body trembled due to holding back my raging anger as I stomped out from the backstage to the stage and threw a microphone that is turned on at the floor earning some groans and complains as the sound produced from it is so loud and painful for the ears.

My eyes shot daggers at the boy who I assumed the leader of the group and made all of this as I didn't hesitant and threw my fist that is waiting all along for me to slam it at that boy's cheek causing him to drop to the floor.

I may be weak but don't underestimate me because I can be violent as that is who I am in my past life.

"I can't just stand so f*ck off you reprehensible uncooked waffle hair. No one wants to know who took your girl you freaking abominable sh*t goblin with your little snakes following you around. Look if you're messing with him then you're messing with me " I yelled, totally lost it all not even caring that everything is in chaos but all I have in mind is to protect Beomgyu who was bullied now right in front of the crowd.

"AND YOU WITH FAKE BROKEN CHEAP NAILS. YES YOU. Take your useless boyfriend here and Stay. The. F*ck .away . from. Beomgyu. He's not what you all think he is. It's all because of you that caused this and thank you so much for cutting my strap last time and embarrassed me in front of thousands of people. A great memory indeed to remember "I laughed sarcastically and pointed the end of my index finger at Nana who just stand there with her fake surprised face and acted like she's innocent.

"Careful with your words because it's not me who cut your left strap when waiting in the line. Just ask my manager and everyone around us that time, they would say I didn't do it. You're just an attention seeker you freak! "she faked a cry as I laughed, finally her fakeness is showing right in front of the whole school and infront of Beomgyu himself.

"How stupid are you to not realize what you just said. I didn't say which side of my strap and exactly where it was cut but here you are exposing yourself you clay-headed walrus. I just can't believe a dummy like you rotten egg with stinky socks would do this to us. Your two faced attitude just makes me want to vommit rainbows and skittles so you would trip on it and have a peaceful trip to the hospital and sorry if you want me to visit you. I will but I'll be there just laughing at you then go home. Even doctors can't cure that  attitude of yours "I smiled a bit after saying that, trying to be calm as possible while trying to shot her with my words.

What's unexpected is that she came to me and suddenly threw a dictionary that she found nearby at me which hit me on my face. I smiled as I watched the dictionary fall to the ground after it hit my face and blew my bangs using my breath a bit.

"Thanks for throwing a dictionary to add up my vocabularies. I'll use my new words later on if needed "I chuckled and I could tell she suddenly lost it as she yanked my hair hard and head locked me to choke me but I turned the tables by twisting her arm around so she won't choke me.

But after that, the match is a tie as we both fight each other in equal strength by pulling each other's hair.

Gosh if I walked out bald, blame this grandma for pulling my hair.

A strong force seperated us as I could see Nana was being held back by her 'Boyfriend' while I was held back too by someone who I recognized immediately because of the familiar touch and warmth.

"Shh... Calm down Rayeon... I'm okay, don't worry about me "Beomgyu spoke in a soft gentle voice and he succeeded to soften my heart and calm down a bit.

"I'm fine.... Okay? Don't worry about me. Don't let your anger take over you "He continued again after turning me around as I looked up at him who is smiling like nothing happened, showing his dimples despite of being wet and dirty because of just now.

This time, I really couldn't let myself to not cry as I shut my eyes and cried with my head hung down because it's too painful to even see Beomgyu in this condition but still smiling through it all.

He doesn't have many friends the first time I came, yet he smiled.

He lives in a poor condition without any support and worked hard to take care of me and himself too, he also smiled.

He only has this one thing he treasures the most since that's the only thing he was left with since the beginning and even didn't get mad with that person who left him, still he smiled.

He was bullied in front of the crowd for being with Nana, and he smiled.

That beautiful smile never left his eyes.

How can you not fall for a strong person like him? I admit it, he's just pulling me deeply in love.
