-R A Y E O N-

My hands gripped on both sides of the bed to support my body to sit straight as soon as I woke up from my dream only to startle someone beside me who's napping but his sense seems to triggered him that he woke up too.

The first thing that came into my mind is; where's the boy who saved me?

"Where is he? "I asked and was ready to jump off the bed but he stopped me.

" he's in the other room just changing his clothes since its soaked. Just calm down and rest your legs, I know it still hurts and aish.... Why didn't I notice that your hand is injured "Beomgyu informed and as soon as he said that, he took the first aid box and pulled a chair to sit at facing the bed so he can treat my hand while I'm sitting on the edge of the bed.

He first cleaned the dried blood and applied some cream to the big scratch which I winced in pain everytime the cream came in contact with the wound before he covered it up with a plaster so bacteria won't easily come in my body from my wound or else I would get sick easily.

"Done " he said in satisfaction and I was actually expecting for him to let my hand go but instead he still held it and before I knew it, he planted a kiss on it softly before looking up at me.

"now it's really done. Need anything for me to get or help with? Or maybe clothes in case you want to sleep in the medic room for tonight" he offered but i shook my head slowly as I could feel my cheeks burning already.

My cheeks are betraying me. Oh how do you all act play hard to get? Like I need some tips or lessons people.

I can't just learn how to control my expressions from the animals in National Geographic channel. Unless I'm going to act like one or plotting a plan on how to kill people and slice them to pieces  then I'll learn from there.

"I'll go to my tent after this and it's okay, I don't need anything " I said and we were there staring at each other but something decided to ruin the scene when the door burst open revealing someone drying his hair with a small towel hanged around his neck as I pushed Beomgyu away without hesitant and acted like nothing happened.

"I'll be going now I guess "Beomgyu gathered himself up and rushingly went to the door to leave us alone as the boy turned back his attention back to me.

"So how are you feeling now? "he asked as I shrugged my shoulders.

"Not sure but I think I'm fine for now. Thank you for saving me...again though it's embarrassing "I gave him a sheep smile as he laughed and shook his head.

"why would you be embarrassed, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. I know it's late already but I can't sleep and I need accompany for me to talk with. Wanna chat with me? Only if you want to but if not then it's fine-"

"I would love to "I cut him off because he seemed a bit shy judging from his posture before his expression lit up and he immediately took a seat on the chair that Beomgyu sat at but the only difference is that the chair is now located a bit further from me due to me pushing Beomgyu just now when this guy popped in.

"So may I know what's your name and do feel comfortable with me though I'm older than you "

"Rayeon, Im Rayeon. What about you? I didn't get your name so yeah "I introduced myself as I watched him rest an arm on his leg and bend his back a bit to the front with his chin now resting above his palm while his eyes locked with mine.

"Oh just call me Yeonjun. It's Choi Yeonjun and I'm actually here not as a worker but also a guest because I will be doing something on tomorrow night's event which would be your last day at here. I came earlier to see how you all students were doing and it just reminded me of the past when I was in a field trip too with my other classmates. Consider yourself as lucky because I've never been this interested in a conversation with a girl "He chuckled but I playfully rolled my eyes.

"Awee I'm not going to fall on your first trap. I know you've been saying the same lines about never interested with a girl at other girls too "

"Believe me, I am telling the truth "

"you know what...last night I dreamt of myself...but I still don't know what's my name and what. I just remembered a bit part of my face strangely. This actually never happened but I dreamt about a past memory "I sighed, telling my unusual dream I encountered with last night after coming back to the tent at the angel who made a morning call to check up on me since he saw what happened.

I even tried to explain what I saw in the water but he seemed to can't understand me and said that maybe it's just my imagination because I'm tired but I'm pretty sure that I'm not and I still can recall the creature's red eyes staring at me. Remembering it back just gave me chills as we chat a bit and him telling me to take care of myself this time and advice me not to follow that 'creature' though he still thinks that I'm nuts.

We ended the short call as I brushed my hair and braided my hair into two and put my brush back in my bag before standing up to exit the tent. Our first activity for today is treasure hunting but this treasure hunt is a bit different than any other treasure hunt. You can disqualify people by using who knows what they're giving us because the teachers are going to gather us and fight for the weapons.

Guess it's the Hunger Games for us huh? but not that extreme like killing because if I do can kill anyone, my first victim would be none other than the boy who always disturbs me with his little minions. But I can't because I'll look like a chipmunk with braided hair compared to them who's tall like a yellow giraffe.

I caught up with the girls in my tent who's going to the assembly place and we could already see a lot of students on stand by and forming a really big circle surrounding something which I assumed the 'weapons' are. But the problem is that all of it was in a box and you can't see what's inside it. So now it's like the Hunger Games also an 'unboxing your weapon marathon' happening later.

Who knows what's inside, maybe just some wacky things to trick us.

"Okay so the rules are simple because there is no rules. You can disqualify people by hitting them LIGHTLY on their body using your weapon or if you are lucky to have a Nerf gun then shoot, as long as a part of their body and someone saw it so they're disqualified and no slapping, punching, hitting or whatsover, that's not considered as disqualified. And remember people, the treasure hunt location is from here to that red flag you'll see far away there as we don't want some of you kids getting lost. The prize of this game would be food coupons and any menu you want for lunch later. How to know you win? find the paper that says You Win after finding clues to where the prize is but we won't get easy on you so there is more to it so good luck" a teacher announced as cheers followed by as soon as he mentioned about the prize and I could see that many are enthusiast about the idea of winning the prize because I'm one of them too.

Food is everything. My motto is, we live to eat because there's food, then we eat. I don't know if you all are going to say it's actually Eat to live but in my life, it's Live to eat.

"OKAY GET READY STUDENTS BECAUSE WE'RE STARTING THE GAME. on your marks.... Get set.... GO" another teacher made a countdown as we all raced to the middle where many boxes were stacked highly as I got one but then I felt my wrist being gripped tightly.

A person dragged me away, also carrying a box with one hand as the person found somewhere hidden for us to open the box safely.

"aren't you gonna be with Nana? I was going to go find Taehyun and Soobin if you're with her" I spoke up as he stopped unboxing the box and lifted his gaze at me with a sigh. I was going to leave and ignore him all over again but he made me took my plan back and made me stay with his words.

"She's the past, you're the future so I'll focus on you now only. Quick, let's see what we got "Beomgyu said in a gentle voice as my heart softened too after hearing it.

We opened our own boxes only to find weird things. At least mine seems a bit logical or like a weapon but his weapon is truly out of our expectations.

"A bell? What am I going to do with a bell? Ring some senses back to people?" he groaned as I laughed and grabbed his bell and brought it up at the same level as his neck.

"you two are meant to be. Look, with this bell you look like doraemon because of your blue and white sweater. Okay just stay behind my protection Mister Doraemon because me, Im Rayeon will protect you with her squeaky holy hammer that will smack the hell out of them "I made a pistol sign and blew the end as like extinguishing the smoke at the end of the pistol as he crossed his arms and scoffed.

We decided to come out of our hideout to search for clues that would lead us to the winner spot.

We found only three clues and the teacher is right about it. They really won't be easy with us and instead, gave us exam questions and if we answer correctly at the teacher monitoring us will give a clue.

My eyes caught something hanging up high on a tree as I ran off leaving Beomgyu to get the clue before anyone else can see me.

But then, time suddenly played in a slow motion as my arm was yanked causing me to turn around and bumped into the person's chest. He hugged me by wrapping his arm around my head and placing it on his chest as I could feel his heart pumping fast in his stiff chest, playing the same rhythm as mine too.

"Awe I was about to disqualify her but too bad her boyfriend took the shot" a familiar voice which I hated to hear said as I wasted no time and turned around before throwing my squeaky hammer really hard at the boy and it hit right on his worthless handsome face as his friends laughed hard seeing his now flustered face after getting a hard hit from my pink girly hammer.

"DISQUALIFIED AHAHHA well then we're off to find the treasure hunt without you "his friends said, leaving him with us three.

"You can find Taehyun or Soobin to be with. I'll take care of this skunk first and here, take my bell. I trust you with my lucky charm so better be grateful that I gave you a weapon "Beomgyu told me and handed me his bell as I scoffed a bit.

"More like a bad luck charm because the bell would sound jingly everytime I walk. And don't be too hard on him Dorademon "I teased him and I could hear the boy snorted.

"while I'm being nice with you, better go away from her or I'll smack you until you go 6 feet under ground then I'll bury you alive so you won't disrespect any girls especially Rayeon "Beomgyu threatened as I pushed both of them so they can both go away and just let me continue my quest.

"Here sit with us Rayeon-sshi!" my temporary tent-mate called me out and gesture me to come at the place where the three of them are there sitting together on the ground with a mat only.

I felt my hand being held as I threw my gaze at the person and he gave me the puppy eyes as I understood immediately what does he want after appearing out of the blues.

"No thanks, thank you for offering but I'll be sitting with my friend "I shouted at them since we are actually quite far and the girl nodded, taking note that I'll be with Beomgyu instead.

He led us to an empty space fit for two people sitting on the mat as I make myself comfortable before he gave me a can of soda for me to drink as the night show starts.

The night show is held outdoors and us audience were asked to sit on the ground with only mats covering the grass. The stage in front of us were shone brightly because of the fairy lights and some lanterns surrounding it for the performing students and other performers to make our last night of our trip memorable before we go home the first thing in the morning tomorrow.

I was actually really looking forward on Yeonjun's performance later because I am quite curious on how his singing voice would sound.

"You seemed really excited for Yeonjun hyung's performance later "Beomgyu broke the silence between us as I snapped out of my thoughts and nodded with a smile.

"I also wondered how he'll look like onstage too, maybe he'll look really stunning"my lips curved into a smile as I imagined Yeonjun smiling on stage while singing.

I could see Beomgyu's mood changed so I decided to stop.

"anyways don't be upset with you not winning the treasure hunt just now, you did a great job" he suddenly said and patted my head gently as I could feel my heart racing for the second time today.

"I'm so sorry about last time.. I really didn't mean to hurt your feelings. It was really out of my control and because of me, we've been distant all the time. Rayeon-ah... I know this isn't the perfect time to ask this but I should because I've been trying many times already. Would you want to be my-" his words were cut off when the announcer at the front started to talk as I glanced at the stage to look what's making the crowd screaming.

It was Yeonjun and my face lit immediately as I smiled and waved at Yeonjun who made eye contact with me. He smiled back and the music starts playing through the speakers. Yeonjun tapped his foot on the stage matching the rhythm of the music before he grabbed the microphone and start to sing, sending chills down my spine.

"Yeon-ah "Beomgyu poked my cheek as I averted my gaze back at Beomgyu after awhile of being mesmerized with his singing.

"ah yes beomgyu? Are You going to say friends just now? "I asked slowly with a smile but he didn't answered and kept his head hung down.

"friends?" I asked again but now with my pinky finger out as Beomgyu lifted up his head about to join his pinky finger with mine but seemed hesitant.

"how about best friends?" I offered again and he bit his lips before we locked our pinky fingers together.

"Let me love you "I caught Beomgyu singing that single part at the same time Yeonjun sang in a small voice.

Just wait Beomgyu,Not so fast.. I'm going to take you step by step.

-B E O M G Y U-

Morning came as we all waited for our bus to stop in front of us that will transport us back to school before going home. I looked sideways in search of Rayeon in the crowd, not realizing students randomly rushed in the bus and before I knew it, it became full just before I could step a foot inside.

A teacher called since some of us didn't have a spot in the bus so we can ride together in the last bus that's coming at us and at that moment, I felt my mood lifted up when I saw Rayeon in the group of people who will also ride the last bus back to the school. She was the first one to get in the bus followed by the others as my eyes widened and heart beat fastened, afraid that I won't get a chance to sit with her.

I ran to the bus and tried to squirm inside among all the people and sucessfully got a seat beside her at the back of the bus.

I smiled a bit because she still didn't notice my presence as she had her eyes closed with earphones on her ears. She seemed tired and I could see the new visible dark circles under her eyes as I lifted my camera that was already on my neck and pointed it at her before snapping a picture of her in this state.

The Polaroid came out as I took it and fanned it for awhile so that the picture would appear sooner. It looked like a normal picture of a sleepy girl if you see at first but as I tilted it a bit to the side, it shows an image of a hand holding another hand.

But that's not all.

There is also another hand holding the hand that the first hand held. The hand has a ring  on it which made me more confused to what the photo is trying to show me.

"what does this picture mean? "I muttered a question under my breath and noticed that Rayeon is surely asleep now judging by her head now swinging side by side a bit.

Before I could push her head gently to my shoulder, a hand pushed her head to the opposite way which was at her right side as the person wrapped his arm around her neck so she can feel comfortable and snuggle onto the person.

My eyes instantly caught the identical ring I saw in the Polaroid as I lifted my eyes to look at the person.

There he is closing his eyes and resting his head above hers, towering Rayeon's head. The boy who saved her and the boy who she's excited about last night.
