Chapter 7

"Her name is Kuran Sara."

Ryuu and Yuzuru glanced at each other and stiffened for a second, much to the raven-haired vampire's amaze. They have not expected their little Pureblood to be the daughter of the heads of Purebloods, Purebloods of the Purebloods. If the Vampire Council or the Kurans found out about her living underthis very rooftop, there would be chaos and a war will conflict between the two races. Though that shouldn't be a problem since the Kurans have abandoned her, which means that the Vampire Council will be the ones responsible and the conflict wouldn't happen. However, the problem now is how to persuade the Hunters Association. And Toga.

Toga looked from Ryuu to Yuzuru. He had already knew that they've been hiding something and this 'something' has to be about that little girl. He had then strangely felt this familiar vampiric aura near them, but soon camouflaged. Had he been right? But if he is right, what would two top hunters be doing with a Pureblood princess?

"Sara, what are you doing here?"

The voice of the teacher's student appeared by the doorway, with the little girl in front who was rubbing her neck.

"I... Uh... Needed some water but I don't know should I interrupt or not..."

Since the kitchen is in front of the adults, Toga's suspicion on her eavesdropping decrease by less than 5%.

"It's okay dear, go grab some water and play upstairs."

Sara quickly gulped down some water before going to join her brothers upstairs.

That was close. But I have to know what happened to Kana-nii.

Toga glanced at the little girl as she walked past. Her flowing wavy hair were lifted by the wind, revealing her delicate neck. That's when the strong Pureblood vampiric scent was revealed. Toga grabbed the girl's wrist and yanked her back, causing Sara to fall onto the floor. Toga grab hold onto his pistol and pointed towards Sara.

Shoot! My neck!

The hunter glared at the frightened girl before looking at the worried couple.

"What is a vampire doing in this house. Not to mention a Pureblood! Do you understand what this means?"

"T...Toga. You have to understand. Calm down and put that pistol away from our daughter."

"Daughter? Yuzuru, are you out of you f**cking mind? It's a vampire! A Pureblood! It's a beast with human skin. And also what we hunt. That's what we're trained for, right?"

"Yes bu-"

"Then what is you're problem?"

"Toga Yagari! Sit down and listen to us!"

Everyone went silent. Ryuu is the strongest vampire hunter after the legendary 'Vampire without Fangs'. His voice holds so much authority that even Toga couldn't dare to disobey. Toga put his pistol away and sits down, followed by Yuzuru and Ryuu. Zero and Ichiru then came to pick Sara up and sat down opposite of Toga.

"We know that this is wrong. To adopt a Pureblood. But Sara, our beautiful daughter, is different. She has human emotions. She is like a human. She took no time at all to act like one either. Toga, you should give her a chance. Give us a chance."

"Pff. Please. In the end they're still blood-sucking monsters! Everyone of them are the same. Even my wife."

Silence come seeping in before Toga picked up his belongings and reached for the door.

"I'm not going to stay under the same roof as a monster. Zero! Lets go."

Zero took no time to grab his weapons and left with his teacher. Not before coming up to Sara. He kissed her on the forehead.

"I'm sorry Sara. Give him some time. He will accept you like how we did."

Sara nodded.

That afternoon, the Kiriyus took Sara into the nearby town. For her, it's not only the first time to go into this town, but also her first time going into any town. She wasn't allowed to leave manor before. Since Ryuu and Yuzuru believe that she was able to hide the fact that she is a vampire so well in a small amount of time, they believe it's time to let her see the human world. Sara cheerfully skipped in between the couple, holding their hands. They smile at their cute daughter as Yuzuru and Ryuu started to bring to a children's clothing shop. Sara had been wearing her white dress and some of Yuzuru's child clothes, so the Kiriyus wanted her to choose her own clothes.

They arrive at kids section and Sara's smile widens. There were a wide range of clothing and many she had never worn before. She never had her own clothes before she stayed with the Kiriyus. She was grateful. But what was she doing here?

"Mom, Dad, what are we doing here?"

Ryuu chuckled slightly at his daughter's question.

"Darling, we're gonna buy some new clothes here."

"We were sure you would like to have some new clothes."

Sara was surprised.

"You mean I get to have my own clothes?"

"Yes. Why would you ask? You are our daughter."

"Really?"

"Really"

"It's... It's just that I have never chosen my own clothes before. I had always been wearing other people's old clothes. I don't know what to choose."

Ryuu and Yuzuru looked at Sara with pity.

"Shall we choose them together?"

Sara smiled and nodded, accepting Yuzuru's offer.

Sara grabbed both of her parents' hand and skipped out of the shop, where she bought 3 new T-shirts, 1 pair of jeans, 2 pairs of shorts, 2 dresses and a navy blue jacket. Now that Summer is coming up, most of her clothes were in style to the season and the weather was getting hotter day by day.

"Mummy, Daddy, can we go have some dessert?"

"Sure. I know just the place to go."

Kaname walked into another town in order to find his lost sister, beloved. He walked by a French styled café. He stopped by a bench for a rest. Thinking about where he should look next. He lifted his head and saw a girl about 6 in between a vampire hunter couple. Her chocolate brown, wavy head bounced as she walked towards the café with her parents. Her height was similar to Sara and so does the white dress she was wearing. Her head was tilted slightly to look at her father, revealing her greyish blue eye. She laughed happily as she walked past him. Kaname widened his eyes as she walked past.
