New Year! New World!

It's almost 2018. Yaaaay. Celebrate!!!

So, this new year is pretty special to me. I've wrote a book, well almost two actually, and hopefully three in 2018 too. That's a big lot of the reason why my activity is pretty limited.

Sorry about that.

Anyhoo, what's important is that I've been working on stuff for ALL of you. Or, more so, how to be a better author/person/friend to all you guys. As well as turning out work for you to enjoy.

I've had vision...

Stop laughing I'm being serious. Okey, ya'll can laugh. I'm not the most organised or business minded kind of person, I'll grant you that...but...

Things are about to get real.

Part of being an accessible and multifunctional author is to create community. Some industry peeps call it platform, but that seems kinda like stepping on little folk to give you height and notability. Neither of which I'm very good at. Personally 'community' is what I prefer. And, I've been encouraging that all along in these books, and in Gandalf's Challenge. So it makes sense to develop that as part of my next big, scary step as an 'Author.'

So, I made my own website.

Taught myself basic web-design, page building, and how to run a little online community. I own it. I've bought my own lil slice of cyberspace and secured my domain.

Isn't it pretty? I think I did well for a technophobe who hates anything remotely difficult to learn. Times are a changin'.

BUT...she ain't gonna run without her crew...her body...her fellowship of fans.

And, this is why I'm writing this. I'm asking you - my friends, readers, and fellow writers - to come over and join me.

What's in it for you? I know I've thought about this...very hard indeed. I can't very well demand a community if it's all about me, right?

3) Updates, advice, and documenting my crazy journey to publishing which may be of interest or help to any of you guys wanting to do the same.

4) Fellowship - yes, really and truly I want to build a community of friends and fellow fans so that we can encourage & better one another. I'm a believer in kindness. And, if you want to make a change, make a positive one.

5) Book updates. Yes, I'm an author. I have a brand new sparkly fantasy trilogy very much inspired from To Live Again, and all the things I learned in the process of writing it. No, it's not a rewrite. It's s brand new story. A lavish, high-concept, contemporary, modern day fantasy fiction with all my trademarks of romance, tragedy, comedy, adventure, and characters galore. I CANNOT wait to be able to share it all with you soon, and as a subscriber you'll obviously get to be in the know first. I'm gonna need advanced readers aren't I? Hehehe

If your still dubious or not sure, I understand...

Frankly, I'm terrified about attempting to be an author, and make it in this scary industry. But, you guys got me this far and I want to take you with me. I wanna share the crazy, because heck, that's what I do and you're all so good at helping me get through the crazy.

You guys are the Sam to my Frodo.

Whatever way you look at it. I'm a newbie author and I need my fellowship. I know ya'll already support me so much already, so I hope it isn't too much trouble to ask for a wee bit more.
