Chapter 16

14:02, 28 August 2015

Taehee's POV

Class wasn't half as boring as usual. I was secretly texting Hoseok and Solbi the whole time. I don't recall what we talking about but I was sure it was completely ridiculous.

Jimin, never really talk to me much in school in the first place. Sure he protected me from bullies and Kang Hani, walked with me to school and stayed with me after school to study but other than that he nothing. He usually talked to his group of friends including both Taehyung and Jungkook.

The bell rang and I stood up, grabbed my bag and waited outside the classroom for Jimin.

He had gotten in trouble for bluntly texting Taehyung in the middle of class. He would even occasionally let out a husky laugh before the teacher took his phone away.

People passed by me and grimaced, they muttered names and insults like 'why is she seducing Jimin', 'poor V has an ugly sister like her' or simply just 'loser'. I couldn't care less now, I was use to all of this.

It only hurt when they got physical but now it was just verbal.

Jimin waltzed out of the classroom with a sly grin on his face. His was slung over his shoulder and his phone was tucked into the pocket of his leather jacket. He stepped closer to my face so we were inches away.

The sweet scent of his cologne was strong and his hot breath caused goosebumps on my neck. My lips partially separated as I let out a silent frustrated moan.

He always gave me this effect when our faces were inches apart.

I wanted him to just hold me in his arms under a blanket and let me sleep against his chest as I listened to his heartbeat. But of course that's all just a dream that will never come true. I wasn't even his girlfriend in the first place.

We're only friends.

"Oppa,"I started. Calling boys that weren't my boyfriend was just awkward so usually I would call them by Sunbae or by name. "Your hyungs are coming over."

Jimin's smirk disappeared and he pursued his lips, "wait V actually invited them?" He asked.

I nodded. My phone went off, indicating I got a text message. I checked the contact ID and secretly glanced at Jimin from the corner of my eye. He was trying to look at my phone screen but also trying to pretend to be cool.

A soft giggle escaped through my lips as he obviously was trying to take a peek at my phone. I looked at the message. Seokjin was wondering what I was making for dinner.

I quickly texted him back the details about dinner and looked at Jimin again. He stumbled and flushed red as I caught him looking at my phone.

He gave out an awkward laugh before coughing and looked at me seriously. "So Taehee who was it?" Jimin offered a small smile and took this chance to intertwine our fingers together tightly.

That's what I didn't understand, we did couple things but the only difference was that we weren't official. I liked him but he probably didn't feel the same way. Jimin was an enigma, he acted jealous and possessive with I would hang out with Hoseok, Jungkook or pretty much any male.

"It was just Kim Seokjin." Jimin raised an eyebrow and losse bed his grip on my hand.

"You mean Jin hyung? My Kim Seokjin? From BTS?" I nodded and tucked my phone in my pocket. His mouth formed an 'o'. "I didn't know you two were texting."

"You didn't ask, and I didn't think it was important."

"What do you two talk about?" I shrugged and gave a small sigh, "I don't know he asks me about how Jungkook is doing and if I wanna hang out with the rest of the members some time."

Jimin let go of my hand completely and put them in the pocket of his hand. My hands felt cold and bare, the warmth was gone. He gave out a bitter chuckle. "Which other of my hyungs are you texting or should I say flirting with?"

I stopped walking and widened my eyes at him. "Excuse me?!" He stopped walking,  looked at me, sighed and frowned.

"Well which other of my hyungs?"

I glared at him. I really didn't want to talk to Jimin right now, he's acting like I threw sand into his lunch. I walked ahead and didn't respond. As I walked past him I 'accidently' bumped my shoulder against him. Next minute I heard him walking behind me, not too far off but not too close either.

He knew I was angry at his disrespectful remark. What right did he have to say that. I wasn't his girlfriend and even if I was what would give him the right to chose my friends if I speak to.

"Taehee, I'm sorry." Jimin muttered quietly but audible enough for it to be heard by at least me.

His husky voice defused my anger as soon as he apologised but if I accepted it now then I'll sound easy and weak.

As I pulled out my ear phones and plugged it into my phone I could hear Jimin quietly practicing his apology since he knew a simple sorry wasn't going to fix anything between the both of us right now. I plugged the two earphones into each ear and played Lee Hi's Rose before putting my playlist onto shuffle.

Jimin was being a jerk right now but it didn't stop my heart from fluttering for him each time he spoke with his husky, smooth voice.

I turned the curb and walked a little faster home, leaving Jimin to trail from behind. I forgot that I had to make a full course meal for a bunch of boys in just 4 hours.

By the time I arrived I only had 3 hours and a half to cook. I fumbled around my backpack for my key but I couldn't find it. I groaned as I must have left it inside before I left. So now I needed to wait for Taehyung to come home from visiting out mum, to actually get inside and start making dinner.

Unless I climb over the fence and go through the back door. My face brightened up and I pulled my skirt down, prepared to look like a complete fool.

The door clicked open and I turned to my side to find Jimin opening the door with a key. I furrowed my eyebrows as I thought I hadn't yet made a key for either Jungkook and Jimin.

He noticed my questioning look, he grinned and held up the key.

"It's V's key." I rolled my eyes and walked inside, throwing my shoes onto the floor since I was too lazy to put it onto the shoe rack. Jimin put my shoes onto the rack for me, along with his shoes, but it was kind of hard to find space since the three boys practically had fifty pairs of shoes each.

He followed me into the kitchen and leaned against the marble bench, watching as I pulled out ingredients to make the dinner.

I didn't answer, I was still angry at him.

Jimin sighed as he knew I was still angry. He walked up to me and grabbed my wrist, twirling me around as he held me tightly in his arms. I felt a blush crawl up my face. His muscular arms hugged my body perfectly and his heart beat had fastened it's pace.

"If your heart beats any faster you'll get a heartattack."

"I know but I feel like dying right now because you're angry at me." He said, resting his head on my shoulder. But it was kind of hard since I'm 168cm while Jimin was 175cm

"Taehee ah, I'm sorry." I sighed and buried my head into the crook of his neck. "It's okay Oppa. I'm not mad, anymore." He snaked his arms around my torso and lifted his head off my shoulder.

He cupped my face with his hands and leaned towards me so our foreheads connected.

"I'm sorry Taehee. I didn't mean to say that. I was just angry and being reckless and stupid all at once." Jimin closed his eyes and began caressing my cheeks gently with his thumb and brushed it as if I was a prized trophy. My arms felt like jelly and I wanted to hug him back and tell him that I don't care at all.

But I just wanted Jimin to tell me why he was angry.

That he liked me and he was jealous.

Of course he didn't say it. He just simply hugged me. "Jimin Oppa it's okay. I don't mind, not one bit." He didn't reply but stopped caressing my cheek and smiled a little.

"Are you two dating?"

Jimin shot his eyes open and pushed me away. He turned over to the group of boys and shook his head violently. "Of course not, we're just friends!"

Ouch.

Taehyung smirked and pushed my shoulder so I was standing closer to Jimin. I stumbled and arm brushed up against Jimin's arm, causing the boys to squeal and scream in excitement.

Hoseok pulled me away and placed his arm around my neck, choking me. "Yah Kim Taehee why did you say I was Stupid along with Solbi?" Jungkook and Yoongi jumped in next, squishing me between the three of them tightly before Namjoon and Taehyung joined the others. Seokjin and Jimin stood there laughing, well Jimin was more like fake laughing since he had a huge frown spread across his face. I cracked a small smile before letting out a fit of giggles.

I pulled away after I couldn't breathe any longer. Seokjin patted my back and checked my temperature. I laughed as he was acting like a mother.

"Okay, okay everyone go to the living room or Jungkook, Jimin's room or even Taehyung's room. Just let me cook in peace. Dinner will be ready in 3 hours or so." They all nodded and headed out as Jimin and Hoseok stayed behind.

"Let me help you cook!"

I laughed at the two of them and shook my head, "no you two go play with the rest. I can handle it by myself."

They pouted but obediently walked into the living room.

I sighed in relief as I frowned, remembering how Jimin said that we were only friends again. Maybe I should make the first move since he obviously can't make the first move without being asked to.

I picked out all the ingredients and placed them on the table. I decided to make the kimchi stew first. It would be easier to prepare the other ingredients while it boils.

All the ingredients were set on the table so I began cutting the kimchi into small pieces first. Honey ran into the room and brushed their hair against my leg.

I picked Honey up and hugged it tightly.

"You're so cute."

Half way through cooking Seokjin came into the kitchen and lent me a hand for making japchae. I was kind of envious since it looked and smelt great. I tried eating a little but I was quickly caught.

By the time we placed the food on the table and set all the plates, bowls, chopsticks and fork onto the table.

We smiled at each other and gave each other a high five. Seokjin had complimented my cooking nearly every five minutes, it was quite embarrassing but it was fine. I think we've actually come gotten a little closer.

Not texting buddies but actually friends.

Plus we wouldn't really qualify for texting buddies since we probably only texted once or twice a day.

All the members came stumbling into the room with their mouths drooling from the smell of the food. Each boy took a seat on the table, leaving two seats free.

One next in between Yoongi and Jungkook and another in between Jimin and Taehyung. Seokjin took the sit next to Yoongi and Jungkook while I took the other one reluctantly. Sitting next to Jimin was kind of awkward after today but then again Taehyung was next to me too.

"Ah!" Jungkook stood up abruptly and pointed at the three of us. "It's the 95 liners sitting altogether."

It was silent and no one said anything before we all bursted out laughing.

"So let's eat?"

I nodded. The boys waited for me to grab something to eat first, they watched me carefully, anticipating my every move. "You guys can eat first. You know that right." They all smiled but still didn't start eating.

Jimin sighed, grabbed a piece of meat and held it in front of my face. He opened his mouth and said 'ah'.

I blushed as the boys snickered at his actions. Jimin pouted cutely and looked at me with his puppy eyes and held it closer to my face and said 'ah' again. I tucked my hair behind my ear and ate the meat.

Jimin smiled and fed me some rice too.

"Thank you." Jimin smiled and cleaned the crumbs off my lips, rubbing his thumb onto my lips. After he noticed what he was touching he pulled away and stiffly began eating.

Taehyung chuckled and asked me to scout in closer to Jimin. I glared at him and punched his arm.

He grinned slyly and punched me back.

"Ouch." I cried, overreacting to a weak punch.

The rest of the members stopped eating and shook in disapproval at Taehyung who pouted, "she's only playing hyungs."

I smirked at them and they understood straight away. I pretended to cry and whine. "It hurts so much. I think there's a bruise there." Hoseok laughed a little but wiped his smiled off and began scolding Taehyung.

Before soon everyone was scolding Taehyung.

After a long scolding we all laughed at Taehyung who was obviously angry and annoyed at our scolding for no valid reason.

"Yah stop laughing!"
