Chapter 02

14:13, 10 May 2015

Taehee's POV

I huffed out a sigh as I picked up the remains of my vintage camera on the floor.

The boys had been playing inside again, even after I specifically told them not to play indoor soccer yet Taehyung still convinced both Jimin and Jungkook to play.

"It's not even the end of their first day yet they already broke something." I muttered bitterly to myself.

Jungkook pouted and looked at me, he must've of felt extremely bad as he was the one who kicked the ball that hit the shelf resulting in my camera breaking.

"It's alright Jungkook." I assured him, trying my best to sound sincere.

"Really?" He raised his head and bit back a smile. I nodded which made him smile brightly.

I know I should be mad at him but who can blame him for following Taehyung?

I knew Taehyung was a manipulative idiot that could probably trick a millionaire to give him anything he wants with just a smile.

"Okay go and play with your hyung while I finish cleaning." He nodded and ran into his shared room with Jimin. Taehyung who was sitting down on the couch chuckled, he seemed quite amused about the way I was handling the situation.

I raised my eyebrow at him. "Gosh you sound like a mum." He commented. I shrugged at his comment and continued picking up the remaining pieces of the lens.

"When do you start school?" I asked.

"I don't know." He replied. I rolled my eyes and threw the pieces in the bin.

"I'll miss that camera." I said disappointedly. The camera was indeed precious to me, it was a gift from my childhood friend Eunha before she left to America. I was upset but I still felt relieved that it wasn't my bandana that was ruined.

"Don't worry Taehee, I'll get you another camera." He assured. I looked him in the eyes and smiled. I hugged him before heading off to the kitchen to prepare dinner.

I decided to start making dinner earlier than my usual time because I knew that I wasn't feeding myself anymore but three boys too.

"What should I make?" I asked myself as I began humming 'Crazy by 4 Minute' quietly.

I opened the fridge and stared at it's contends. I was quite disappointed to see my last cookie was gone. "Taehyung better buy me another cookie when he buys me another camera." I muttered to myself as I pulled out ingredients.

I absolutely loved their latest song. Gayoon unnie looked so beautiful in the music video.

"Taehee what are you doing?" I stopped dead in my tracks and hesitantly turned around. I completely forgot I wasn't living by myself anymore.

"H-hi, I was just cooking..." I stuttered awkwardly.

He chuckled and shook his head, "no I meant what were you doing while cooking?"

"Nothing." I muttered and turned back around to hide my burning cheeks and flustered expression. "How long have you been standing there?" I asked. I was completely embarrassed that he had caught me dancing and singing.

"For a while now, maybe when you first started dancing." I cursed quietly under my breath and gripped onto the ladle as I stirred the stew. "You're really good." He commented and walked up closer to me. He stood next to me and stared at the contents of the pot.

"How long have you been dancing?" He asked curiously.

"Around...." I paused and took a moment to think, "8 to 10 years I think." He gasped and widened his eyes.

"Then you should know a really good dance practice room close by?"

I nodded, "there's one here." He stared at me puzzled.

"I mean do you remember that locked door next to my room?" He nodded and stared at me like a lost puppy. I cringed at how good looking he was compared to me.

Our height difference wasn't too different but considering I was quite tall and he was quite short. His eye smile was adorable and he had flawless pale skin.

"Taehee?" I looked at his face and noticed he looked a little worried.

"The locked room is actually a dance practice room." I stated.

"Really? Can I use it later?" His voice filled with excitement. I stared at him blankly as he licked his lower lip, looked at me with determination to have me say yes in his eyes and held his hands closely together.

I nodded and smiled. I continued chopping up the ingredients until he tapped my shoulder. Jimin grinned and took the knife out of my hand. I stood there awkwardly, not knowing what to do.

"What are you doing?" I asked, confused about his sudden actions.

"Helping you." He said bluntly, I smiled.

He seemed like the type of boy who would make you fall in love with him even through you would know it was impossible to go out with him. I should know from experience after all those jerks tried playing with me.

"No don't worry about it. You're a guest." I defended and took back the knife successfully without cutting myself.

"No I insist on helping. I have nothing else better to do anyway." He admitted. I shook my head and gestured my hands to tell him to go play.

"I'm not a kid, I can help~" he whined and pouted. I bit back a smile and shook my head again. Jimin attempted to take the knife again but as I was also refusing to hand back the knife, the knife slipped and cut me a little on my hand.

"Ouch!" I yelped as blood began gushing out of the cut. Jimin panicked but was able to get the first aid kit for me. "Thanks." I smiled, trying to calm him down a bit.

Luckily the cut was only minor and this wasn't the first time I was cut by someone else but I rather not discuss that.

Jimin looked down and shot me an apologetic expression. "Sorry Taehee." He muttered.

"It's alright, it's my fault in the first place. If I had just let you help me this wouldn't have happened." I assured him but the apologetic expression didn't leave his face for even a second.

He put the alcohol on my leg and looked at me to see if I was in pain. I winced once as I gave him a fake smile. I glanced at his hair and ran my hands through it. It was so soft and smooth.

I looked at Jimin noticed he was staring at me strangely. My cheeks burned as I noticed what I was doing. I pulled my hand back to my chest and bowed.

"I'm sorry." I apologised. Jimin chuckled and shook his head.

"It's strange I kind of like the feeling." I sighed in relief as he didn't think I was a freak show.

"Okay, then can you start boiling the dumplings? They're over there." I said as I pointed to the plate full of pork dumplings.

Throughout the whole time, there was only silence with the occasional sound of a scream from Taehyung and Jungkook. I secretly took glances at Jimin once in a while but each time I did I felt flustered by just staring at his back.

Is it normal to think that your brother's best friend is super handsome?

Of course it is, especially if he's also an idol at the same time.

"So..." I started, trying to break the ice between us but still unsure if what else to say"how's life going with BTS?"

He grinned, showing his eye smile "it's fun, we're all loud so it's always exciting in our dorm. Especially V even after everything in Daegu."

"Everything?" He covered his mouth with his hands. He looked at me as if he had committed a serious offence.

"V didn't tell you? You really don't know about the past?"

Okay, now I was really curious.

"What happen in Daegu?" I asked.

"V was still called Taehyung back then but he was a bad boy, you know he would get into fights and such. Until he met Sun-" He was about to speak but Taehyung ran into the room and covered Jimin's mouth from further speaking about his past. Now that I think of it, I know nothing about what Taehyung after the divorce.

"Jimin don't you think we should have a little talk?" Taehyung asked and nudged him on the shoulder nervously.

"Eh?"

"Come on Jimin." He forcibly pulled Jimin away with him to his room.

A few minutes later they still didn't go out of the room and of course I was dying to know what happen to Taehyung in Daegu.

I sighed and continued cooking until something caught my eye.

A spider.

"TAEHYUNG ! HELP ME!" I shouted stretching out the 'e' in me. I dropped my glasses on the floor as I climbed onto higher ground.

Taehyung and Jimin bursted out the room and back into the kitchen with Jungkook tailing behind. "Taehee what's wrong?" Taehyung exclaimed. I covered my face and pointed to the giant spider in the corner hesitantly.

The three boys sighed, rolled their eyes and was about to leave me alone. "Wait Taehyung ~ help me." I said in aegyo.

I stopped covering my face and jumped on one of them, like literally I jumped on the one of them to stop them from leaving me. I sat on the him as he was lying down on the ground, flat on his stomach.

"Make it go away." I pleaded.

"Okay, fine get off of me first." I got off of him and smiled that he had given in.

"Noona why are you so stubborn?" Jungkook asked as he helped Jimin up from the floor.

"It's just a gift." I said proudly. Jimin rolled his eyes and let the spider outside. Jimin looked at me, ready to say something but he stopped as he looked straight into my eyes.

His mouth dropped open widely and I gave him a puzzled expression. His cheeks were tinted with pink and he had a suprised expression plastered on his face.

"Are you okay?" I asked him. He slowly nodded.

"It's just that - actually never mind it doesn't matter." He looked away.

Do I look that ugly without my glasses?

I frowned and silently went to put my glasses back on. "Are we having dessert too?"

"Yes of course, I think Jungkook wanted Jam cookies. Oh and Hoseok also told me you couldn't eat jam so I made you some -"

"Hey Taehee what's up with that?" He cut me off as he frowned and furrowed his eyebrows. I raised one of my eyebrows. He seemed like he was disappointed and upset. Did he want something else to eat?

"What do you mean?"

"Why do you call Jungkook and even Hobi hyung by their name but you call me by you? Do you perhaps hate me?"

I shook my head. "Jimin-ssi, I'm sorry if I upset you." His frown didn't disappear.

"Just forget I said anything okay?" With that he left me alone, dumbfounded.

What did I do wrong?

Author's Note

Sorry it's another boring update. I really have no idea what to write about.

But Taehyung has a secret and what is he keeping away from Taehee? Why was Jimin upset with Taehee?

Before this chapter ends I want to say something.

Dear Haters, how dare you freaking be a little asshole to Taehyung. Why do you guys keep making a big deal over nothing? Telling Taehyung to be normal is basically telling you not breath. So shut up and let Taehyung be himself
