CHAPTER - 6

14:19, 2 September 2025

Next Day at College :-

Jungkook walked into class, his bruised face heavy with yesterday’s memories. Every step felt heavier than the last. His seatmate, Jimin, noticed immediately.

Jimin - Jungkook… why weren’t you in class yesterday? And what happened to your face?

Jimin’s voice was soft but laced with concern.

Jungkook didn’t answer. His gaze stayed fixed on the floor, the words caught somewhere in his throat. He shifted uncomfortably in his chair, fingers twisting in his lap, avoiding Jimin’s eyes.

Jimin - I know we’ve only met a couple of days ago

Jimin pressed gently

Jimin - But you can tell me anything. I won’t judge you.

Jungkook’s lips twitched. It wasn’t that he didn’t trust Jimin—it was that he couldn’t bear to paint his Taehyung or his father in a bad light. His silence stretched between them, thick and unspoken.

Finally, Jimin gave a small, understanding smile and decided to let it go, trying instead to lighten the mood.

Lunchtime :-

The cafeteria was bustling. Jungkook followed Jimin, tray in hand, when his eyes landed on Taehyung.

For a fleeting moment, every bruise, every sting of yesterday faded. His heart pounded like a drum in his chest. Taehyung’s sharp gaze swept across the hall—and then locked on him. Just a glance, and Jungkook felt weightless, dizzy with happiness. His lips quivered with a shy, involuntary smile.

Taehyung, meanwhile, noticed the dark bruises marring Jungkook’s face. His chest tightened, guilt striking him like a cold fist.

Taehyung's p.o.v - Did I… hit him this hard? I only punched once… it wasn’t supposed to be this bad…

His thoughts shattered with a soft, familiar voice.

? - Hi, Taehyung.

Jennie.

Annoyance curled Taehyung’s jaw, but he swallowed it. She plopped onto his lap without asking, and he froze, lips pressed into a hard line, eyes flicking away. He couldn’t push her away—not here, not in front of his friends.

Kai’s voice snapped him back to reality.

Kai - Yah, nerdy!

Jungkook’s smile fell. He stood, shoulders stiffening, and looked down as he approached the group.

Jungkook - you need something?

Jungkook asked, voice low, cautious.

Jack - Yeah, piggy. Go get me some ice cream.

A spark ignited inside Jungkook. Not at being ordered, not at the usual bullying—but at the name. Piggy. The nickname that belonged only to Taehyung. No one else could call him that—not Jack, not anyone.

Jungkook’s eyes lifted, fierce and unwavering.

Jungkook - Jack… don’t ever call me piggy again. Only my master can call me that.

The cafeteria froze. Jack’s jaw dropped. Even Taehyung blinked, stunned by the audacity of the “weak nerd” standing tall. Ego bruised, Jack’s voice thundered.

Jack - WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY? YOU’VE LEARNED TO TALK BACK TO ME NOW?

Jimin stepped forward, protective, confused.

Jimin - What’s happening? Why are you yelling at my friend?

Jack - Friend?

Jack scoffed, sneering.

Jack - Do you even know him?

Jimin looked at Jungkook, then back at Jack, eyebrows furrowing.

Jimin - What are you talking about?

Kai, feigning innocence, smirked.

Kai - Oh, right. You’re new. Let me explain about Jungkook.

Kai - No one talks to him

Kai said, stepping closer.

Kai - No one even wants to be near him. He used to sit alone… until you came.

Jimin’s eyes widened.

Jimin - But… why?

Jack’s voice pierced the air, malicious and loud.

Jack - Because he’s GAY! He wants to take DICK in his ASS! And you know whose dick he wants? It’s—

Before he could finish, a fist like steel slammed into his face. Blood exploded from his nose and lips, hot and shocking. Jack’s knees buckled; the world spun. He crumpled to the floor, dazed, mind blank for a second as pain radiated through his skull.

The cafeteria froze. Every student’s eyes widened in disbelief. And there he stood—Jungkook. The “nerd,” the timid, weak shadow who had endured everything silently. And now… he was a predator.

A boy who had been beaten, mocked, and ignored—unleashed. His eyes glinted like dark fire, pupils sharp, burning with a terrifying intensity. The fury that had simmered for years had finally exploded, and it was raw, unrestrained, lethal.

Jack’s fear was instantaneous, creeping into every nerve. He had never seen Jungkook like this. Not a trace of the shy, obedient boy remained. Only pure, terrifying rage.

Kai, blind to the danger, grabbed Jungkook’s collar.

Kai - You ugly—! How dare you punch my friend! Are you scared we’ll tell everyone whose dick you want in your dirty little mouth? It’s none other than—

Kai’s words died on his lips. Jungkook’s fists moved like a wild animal, sharp, precise, and unrelenting. Each punch struck with the force of years of pain, anger, and humiliation. Kai’s head snapped back again and again, blood dripping down his face, eyes wide with terror.

The students tried to pull Jungkook back, hands grasping at his shoulders, but he was uncontainable, a storm of fists and fury. His movements were almost inhuman, fluid, unstoppable, as if every strike had been carefully stored in his body, waiting for this moment.

Jimin finally tackled him, dragging him away, but not before Jungkook delivered several last, brutal hits, leaving both Jack and Kai battered, bloodied, and pale with fear.

Jungkook’s chest heaved, every breath ragged, fists trembling with residual energy. His eyes, dark and blazing, scanned the cafeteria.

For the first time, he wasn’t the nerd. He wasn’t the weak, bullied boy. He was something else entirely—terrifying, untamed, and dangerous. Anyone who had underestimated him now knew: Jungkook was not to be crossed.
