Chapter 5

  We had been flying around looking for Miguel everywhere when suddenly I got this sharp pain in my chest that shot throughout my body. I inhaled sharply and gasped loudly. Mamá Imelda instantly landed Pepita and she slid off first, then I did, and I tried to stand on my own but my legs gave out and Mamá Imelda caught me and lowered me to the ground slowly until I was sitting, leaning again Pepita.           "Mija! What happened? Are you okay?" Mamá Imelda was asking but I just closed my eyes tightly and took deep breathes. After about five minutes I opened them again and could see Mamá Imelda looking very worried at me.             "Miguel, something happened and it's Miguel" was all I said and so she helped me back onto Pepita and somehow managed to find Miguel in a matter of minutes.            "Miguel!" I said while slightly leaning over. "Héctor" Mamá Imelda said in a tone that was like it disgusted her to even hear his name coming out of her mouth.              We got Miguel and the 'Héctor' guy out and I was next to Mamá Imelda but was listening to Miguel talking with Dante and when I heard Miguel yell I turned and saw Dante falling but then he was back up on the other side of Pepita!             Miguel saw I was watching and he started talking to me, so I moved over next to him but it took some effort. I guess that sudden pain really took a lot out of me.              "Héctor is our great great grandpa!" Miguel said excitedly and with a wide smile, he was practically bouncing. I said nothing, I just leaned over slightly to see Héctor dangling from Pepitas tail and leaned back to look at Miguel with a black look.               He looked kinda worried about my reaction but all I did was quirk a brow and turn back forwards.
