"If you don't confront your feelings, they will confront you" -Leonard Snart

"Okay, either we were kidnapped or we were placed in the series. Probably the first one" Lyra assumed as they walked towards town centre, in search of any house or maybe a bar.

Dorian nodded and groaned as he asked "How much longer are we supposed to walk? I am not wearing the appropriate clothes."

Lyra hit him on his arm "Stop complaining. We've had to walk a lot more before and that was at night, be happy it's daytime."

"Okay fine, but that was in the olden days. Before we were celebrities, luxury cars with shaded windows so no-one could see us" Dorian smiled a bit at the old memories "God. I miss that sometimes, when we actually had a bit of free will and no paparazzi at every corner."

"Remember when we drove for hours for that gig, only to find out that it had been canceled" Lyra giggled as she remembered the car ride, all of them singing on the top of their lungs and whining every time James needed a bathroom break.

"Yeah" he smiled and grabbed something out of his pocket, it was his wallet "We took this picture with the four of us while we waited on our food."

She grabbed the old picture and mumbled "We were so young... You really kept this?"

He huffed a laugh and asked "You think I wouldn't? This was one of our last normal memories, before all the fame, the tours and the expectance of perfection."

She smiled and shook her head "Everyone wishes they were like us, but they don't know the actual pain and exhaustion that comes with it."

"Yup" He nodded and joked "'the celebrity dream' What a joke."

Lyra slowed to a stop as something caught her eye, she pointed towards it while saying "Okay. Does this exist in the real Mystic falls Virginia?"

The Restaurant/Bar that they know so well was right in front of them, the Mystic Grill.

"Hold on let me look online" Dorian started to search his pockets for his phone, but didn't find it "Uh, have you seen my phone."

She frowned and started to search for hers "Wait, let me grab mine" After patting herself down, she looked at him in confusion "Mine isn't in my pockets, I swear I put it in my pocket!"

He slowly turned to her and inquired "In what year was The Vampire Diaries?"

Lyra thought about it and answered "2009 to 2018, I believe."

"Iphone 14 didn't exist until March 2023, why do I have a feeling our phones didn't get stolen instead they disappeared?"

Lyra's face turned into one of realisation as she pleaded "Please don't say what I think your going to say."

Dorian shrugged and grabbed her hand while dragging her towards the grill "There's only one way to find out!"

Lyra made a sound of protest when they arrived and Dorian opened the door. It was packed full of people having lunch and nothing looked out of the ordinary.

She turned to him and held up her hands while saying "See. Looks normal to me, no Vampire Diaries in sight."

Dorian pursed his lips, he grabbed her shoulder and turned her around while pointing "What about that?"

Lyra looked in that direction, only to almost faint. Michael Trevino and Steven R. McQueen were sitting together at a table and talking, but they looked way younger then they are originally supposed to be.

Ignoring Dorian's 'I told you so' look, Lyra walked up to a waiter and asked "Hi! Just a quick question, have you heard of the band Broken Melodies?"

The waiter looked at her and shook their head "No I'm sorry?"

"Really? Never heard one of their songs?" Lyra tried again, but faltered as the waiter shook their head once again.

Lyra gave the waiter one last smile, before turning around and walking towards Dorian.

Dorian gave her a smug look, but she just grumbled "Shut up, come on."

She grabbed his arm and pushed him towards the exit of the grill. They walked towards an alley and she continued "What the hell are we supposed to do now?! We are literally stranded in a universe of make believe, this isn't supposed to be real!"

"Okay, calm down. We'll figure it out like we always do" Dorian comforted as he put a comforting hand on her shoulder.

She shrugged him off and looked at him with tears in her eyes "No one knows us here Dorian, we have no fame and most importantly, not our billionaire money!"

"Lyra please calm down" Dorian tried as he held up his hands.

"What about James and Reggie? Oh my god, they'll be crushed!" She cried out as wind started to pick up and Dorian could swear he saw some sort of black mist in the corner of the alley.

"Lyra! Lyra, hey!" Dorian shouted as he grabbed her shoulder and forced her to look in his eyes "It will all be okay, we'll be okay. It's you and me, till the end of the line."

"Till the end" Lyra nodded and took a deep breath. After a few minutes, she visibly relaxed and calmed down.

"Let's find a place to sleep, relax and get our energy back. We'll discuss what to do tomorrow" Dorian planned and she nodded as they walked towards an motel.

Luckily for them, Dorian still had some cash in his wallet so they had enough money to buy a rooms to spend a few nights.

After having a goodnights sleep, they both had decided to have breakfast at the grill and make sure to watch out for any of the Scooby squad.

They both sat down after ordering and quickly scanned the restaurant for any Salvatore or Forbes, considering they're the only vampires.

When they found none, Lyra immediately went to business "I found something strange this morning."

Dorian leaned towards her in interest and asked "What did you so miraculously find?"

"A tattoo. 4 stars on my lower back, I know that I never got a 4 star tattoo" She confessed.

He tilted his head and told her "Funny you mention that" He grabbed the edge of his shirt and showed her his shoulder, revealing 4 stars as well.

She squinted her eyes as she noticed "Yours are different then mine"

Dorian hummed with a frown "We'll figure that out later. Now onto yesterday, when you had the slight panicky moment. I can promise you that I saw some sort of black mist in the alley."

Her face contorted as she sat back and asked "What are you trying to say?

"I'm saying you have magic girl" Dorian looked at her wide eyed and realisation dawned on her face.

"Oh. Well that makes things... Easier" Lyra smiled. A waiter came over and gave them their orders, both of them smiled politely and took their food.

When the waiter left, Dorian looked to Lyra and narrowed his eyes suspiciously "What does that mean?"

"I did not sleep well last night considering the severe anxiety this entire situation gives me and I thought. We have a fresh start, no paparazzi, no crazy fans, no rules of an agency to follow and even better yet. If we figure out what 'episode' we are then we can mess with the plot and change things that are just wrong" Lyra rambled and took a sip of her drink.

Dorian pointed at her "Like the death of two certain Originals?"

"Exactly!" Lyra beamed and started to eat her fries.

"I like it, but how are we going to figure out what episode we're in?" Dorian questioned as he grabbed a few of her fries.

She gave him a short head tilt while also pointing out "And we also need to get some money."

Dorian hummed and nodded. He stood up and Lyra looked at him in confusion as he walked off towards a teen that looked about their age "Hello there gorgeous."

The teen looked up at him and blushed while pushing her hair behind her ear "Hello.

"Just a quick question, are there any new town festivities that are up-coming?" He leaned down on the table and gave her a seducting look.

"Uhm-uh" the teen stammered and if she was standing then her knees would have failed her "T-tonight is the masquerade, at the Lockwood estate!"

He smiled and left, not before saying a quick "Thanks gorgeous."

As he approached the table, he smirked and revealed a stolen wallet while Lyra commented "You sly sneaky seductress."

"I have no idea what you're talking about" He smiled and they shared a quick laugh, before he informed her "Tonight is the masquerade, the one with the whole moonstone and Katherine problems."

"Ahh" She made a sound of interest and planned "We should go get some formal clothes and mask's then."

Before Dorian could respond. A man came up to their table, completely ignoring Dorian, and turning to Lyra "Hi, you're new here."

Lyra shared a look with Dorian, before gritting her teeth and replying "Yes, I am. Now can we help you sir?"

"Just wondering if I can have your number" The man brushed his hand against her cheek and she slightly flinched.

Dorian cleared his throat, successfully drawing the man's attention towards him, he raised an eyebrow and stated "You're bothering us Sir. Leave."

"I wasn't talking to you now was I? Anyways. You can just leave this poor guy and join me at a table if you-" He was cut off as he gripped his chest. Lyra frowned and looked towards Dorian, he had his fist clenched while glaring heavily at the guy.

She put her hand on top of his and whispered "Dorian" His eyes slashed with hers "You're making a scene, come on let's just go."

He grabbed her hand and walked out of there while glaring at the man.

They stood outside and Dorian took a deep breath to calm himself, Lyra squeezed his hand in comfort.

After a second she spoke up "Well looks like we both have some sort of magic... This is going to get chaotic."

He looped his arm in hers and agreed "Yep, but that makes everything better!"
