It was the next day and after training at lunch you sat with everyone.

It was different being back especially now with you and Hange in your secret relationship.

You sat next to Moblit and Hange while Erwin and Levi sat across from you guys. Erwin was about to announce some good news.

"The commander wanted to see me today after training and told me that my position would be changed. He told me he was impressed with my work lately and that I will now be a section commander." He said proudly and even though he had a serious expression you can tell he wanted to smile.

"That's great, I'm proud of you!" You said cheerfully as the rest of the table agreed.

"I'm not even surprised!" Hange said, giving him a light playful shove to his arm across the table.

"They also said I was allowed to pick an assistant to help me with my new duties so I picked Levi as he is just as skilled." He said, looking over to the man sipping his tea.

"Woah Levi!" You said with a smile. He just looked the same as always not caring but you couldn't be more proud of them both.

"Well, when I become a section commander, Y/n and Moblit will both be my assistants and we will learn so many things about titans!" Hanges eyes gleamed at the thought and Moblit just smiled nervously as he wasn't too much of a fan of titans but did admire his friends idea.

You smile at the thought of you and Hange always being on each other's side working together. You both were inseparable. You wanted to keep it that way.

At night to celebrate the good news of your comrades, Hange had snuck in booze from town.

"Four eyes, do you really think this is a good idea?" Levi asked as you all relaxed in Erwin and Levi's room. You all had decided to meet there since they had the biggest room out of all of you now.

"Relax, Shorty! This will only be a one time thing! We are celebrating!" They said as they opened it pouring glasses for everyone.

"Cheers?" You asked, putting yours up.

"Cheers." They all said clinking all your glasses together. You then quickly down it as you felt the sour, bitter taste in the back of your throat.

You all drank and shared stories of your times of when you all had just become friends and were just little scouts that barely knew anything of the world beyond.

It was now later in the night and you and Hange had said your goodbyes as you were now both drunk in the hallway walking to your room.

Your arm was over Hanges neck as theirs was the same as yours. You both walked slowly trying to keep each other balanced as you laughed quietly.

"Stop stepping on my foot Y/n." They whispered laughing at you as you laughed along.

"I'm not trying to!" You whisper yelled.

You made it to your door, as they let go and you leaned on the wall outside of your room, as they got the keys out of their pocket. You could tell they were having trouble with the lock as they kept skipping through different keys.

"Hange." You called out to themslurred looking straight at them. The window in the hall letting out a shine of moon light on their bare face and they looked up to you with half lidded brown eyes and a smile.

"Yes." They replied. They looked so hot in this moment that you just couldn't help yourself. You grabbed them by the collar as you placed your lips on theirs, surprising them, and made out with them as you forced your lips onto theirs as they did the same. They placed both their hands on the side of your face as they moved their lips with the same motion as yours.

They let go to look at you as you just looked at them back. You could see the fire lit in their eyes and they saw the same in yours. You both wanted each other so badly.

They started at your jaw, giving a bit of pressure and leaving marks all over it as you gasped at the feeling. "Hange.." You sighed out.

They kept going as they met your neck which made you have to cover your mouth. They sucked and nibbled on the most sensitive spots of your neck. You could feel their hooked nose brushing over the bruising, and they kept going down all the way to your collarbone and you couldn't help but feel so much pleasure from this.

They stopped, looking down at the marks they had put on you proud of their work, and smirked at you. "Beautiful, my love." They said low, as you smiled. They then kissed you on the lips softly and you wrapped your arms around their neck in an attempt to bring them even closer than they already were.

"What the hell-" You both jumped up releasing from each other's arms looking at the night guard that stood before you.

You both were too drunk to even think about getting caught. "Shit." Hange said as you just looked so embarrassed looking between Hange and the guard.

"Both of you, go to bed! The commander will see you in the morning." The guard said walking off.

You slid down the side of the wall burrowing your legs against your chest. "We're.." You felt as if you couldn't breathe trying to speak shakily.

"Hey, Hey.. It's okay Y/n." Hange said crouching down next to you, putting their hand to yours. "Nothing will happen. We will get through this." They said with a weak smile helping you up.

Your head was now pounding as you were getting back your senses. Hange then unlocked the door and you both got dressed for bed.

"Don't sleep with me tonight.." You quietly said, regretting saying it as it came out.

Hange just slowly nodded as they went into their own bed.

"Night." They said turning towards the wall.

You did the same biting your lip as it quivered trying not to cry.

"I can not believe this. This is so unprofessional and unacceptable." The commander said to you both as you stood before him. "You should feel ashamed." He said sternly.

You both stood there awkwardly taking in what he was saying. "I understand if you both liked each other but making it into a relationship just won't do. Even with this kind of job. I don't need distractions. Especially on expeditions. Do you understand?" He asked as you both nodded.

"I am very sorry to have to do this but you will both be separated. Y/n you will now be on a different squad and have a new roommate." Your jaw dropped a bit as you looked over at Hange. They kept a straight face.

"Relationships in the past always caused a lot of commotion. We just can't have it. You both are excused. I hope to never see you interact as you did last night again."

You walked out of his office right away with Hange following behind you. Tears rushed down your face and even with the amount of people in the halls you didn't care.

"Y/n! Wait up!" Hange called out to you as you rushed back to your room.

You forced the door open. You right away started packing your stuff angrily as tears kept falling.

"Y/n please-"

"This is all your fault!" You yelled as your heart broke to the way Hanges face fell as you yelled at them.

"Y/n.." They said reaching out for you but you backed away.

"I'm sorry..it's just.. I can't do this right now." You said folding your clothing aggressively together as you then took out other stuff you would need to pack.

"I didn't mean to cause this. I wasn't thinking." They said calmly standing watching you pack.

"Neither was I and look where that got us." You said back a bit harshly.

"Fine." You heard them say and you looked over to them crossing their arms as they sat on the bed.

"Fine what?" You asked.

"Keep blaming me for everything Y/n. But I really thought you felt the same way for me as I did for you." They said making your tears sting as they came back to your eyes.

"Hange..I do! Of course I do! I'm just upset!" You yelled uncontrollably.

"So am I Y/n!" They stood up taking off their glasses as they pinched their nose in frustration.

Silence then filled the room as you both stood there. They looked at you as you looked back at them. You slowly walked up to them wrapping your arms around their neck and they wrapped theirs around you and put their head on your shoulder. You could feel their tears as it ran down falling on your shirt but you didn't care.

"I'm so sorry." They cried in a whisper. "I just-" You then shush them as they put their head up to look at you, and you look into their brown eyes as they look back into your E/C eyes.

Both of you had red eyes from crying and sniffles. "It's not your fault. We will get through this." You said combing your fingers through their brown hair.

After packing you were moved to a smaller room and this time didn't have a roommate. You felt so alone as your room was so bare. You missed Hange so much and just imagining you on a different squad tugged at your heart. You couldn't live without them.

You heard a knock at the door getting up right away as you hoped for them to be on the other side of the door as your eyes glowed with hope.

You opened the door to see your short friend Levi.

"Sorry, I know I'm not who you're hoping to see." He said. You smiled at what he said even though he was right.

"Yeah but you're still always nice to see too." You said at which he smiled a bit at that, letting himself in. He sat on the chair in the corner of your small room as you sat on the edge of your bed.

"I'm sorry. But I can't say I didn't see this coming." He said and you nodded.

"I just don't know what I'm going to do." You said honestly, sighing. "I miss them so much."

"I know you do." He said.

You smiled a bit appreciating Levi. Even though he didn't show it he cared about your feelings and wanted to make sure you were okay. He was a really good friend.

"But you know Hange is crazy about you and that they will literally do anything to see you." He began and you eyed him as he took a note out of his pocket unfolding it giving it to you.

You took it carefully looking over Hanges' messy writing while starting to read it.

I know I should be more careful and shouldn't be writing to you like this but I can't help it. I miss you too much. Just looking at your side of the room empty makes my heart break. I miss your scent. Your laugh. Your lips. I could go on and on but I won't. I looked at your schedule and the only time we can see each other is at night. So tomorrow night meet me on the roof and of course watch your surroundings before you leave your room and be extra quiet my love.

You smile like you were a little girl who had just got a new toy kicking your feet in the air. Levi just smiled getting up heading for the door.

"Well my work here is done." He said, closing it behind him.

You laid back on your bed excited to just go to sleep, as you just wanted it to be tomorrow already.
