62. Jiraiya's Torture Plan

19:54, 9 December 2019

There's like two major problems with being an author. One is the writer's block and the other is when ideas can NOT stop forming in your mind.

And the worst part is.. when you know what to do, but you just can't write it because of some unknown reason and AGAHAHAGHQS-

*smashes keyboard repeatedly*

Am I dreaming? We're getting close to 200K..

Me: All happy at the views until I realize that its nearing 200K reads--

Dedicated to akatsukislut because her books are fucking legendary. Check them out, hoes.

On with the plot.

Enjoy!

.-.-.-.-.-.-.

Akina walked through the gates of Amegakure with poise. She had an aim. Arranging her Akatsuki cloak, she avoided stares of the few curious onlookers by lowering her head.

She couldn't get caught, especially by Obi- er, Madara.

One day, the Senju knew that she'd end up spilling his real name and that's how she will die. She had no control over her tongue when in anger and thinking about Madara made her think the worst.

When she was in her early Academy days, she used to daydream about bringing Obito back to Konoha, somehow. Akina now knew that could never happen. In entire honesty, she underestimated the Uchiha Clan's curse of darkness or whatever the fuck that really was.

It wasn't a curse, per say. It was more of a lust for power and a lack of emotions which drove them to this state. In fact, she'd bet her entire fortune that anyone would go down the same path as the Uchihas if treated the same.

However, for the oddest reason.. Sasuke didn't. And that bothered Akina greatly.

Did she in all reality really make such a big impact on Sasuke Uchiha's life that he changed.. for the better? Or is he actually attempting to use his brains now for once instead of being manipulated?

Sure, she did manipulate Team 7 into working together and cherishing bonds because their time was limited. She did tell them that the entire world was going to collapse once they turned 16/17.

A white lie.

And now, she doesn't even know if its true since so much of the plot was fucked up.

She of all people, made Konoha shinobi and the Akatsuki work together. Well.. not exactly seeing how Deidara muttered curses at Sakura and Sasuke, yet the blonde oddly seemed relaxed as well.

Almost like.. playful banter. Except Akina knew Deidara and Kisame wouldn't hesitate to chop them up on spot if she asked so.

It was truly confusing. The entire scenario seemed like a dream to her. It was too unbelievable, too.. odd to be considered 'normal'. But perhaps, Akina had passed the stage of normal a long time ago once she aimed to befriend the protagonist of the entire show.

Yeah, that's when she fucked up. But she didn't regret it, not one bit.

Akina had absolutely to little no idea when Jiraiya would infiltrate Amegakure. And if he already did.. he should be gathering information from a brothel or Pain/Konan nee would've found him.

Instead of heading towards Nagato's chambers, she took a left and went down the stairs, looking blankly at the slow waves in the small canal flowing through the city. The Senju's are good sensors, hell Tobirama was probably one of the best sensors in Konoha till date.

She wondered how her lineage got fucked up and she didn't get his chakra sensing. Without trees in the district, her sensing was weak. Pain didn't make her work on it and instead he focused on her stamina, speed, ninjutsu, taijutsu and fuinjutsu.

Kenjutsu was something she worked on alone and genjutsu was a lost cause in all its entirety. Honestly, she couldn't fathom why her genjutsu was so weak even after years of trying to learn it.

She was part Uchiha, wasn't she? In fact, she was more of an Uchiha than a Senju yet she somehow got wood style.

One fourth Senju, one fourth Uzumaki and a half Uchiha.

Yeah, Death was on drugs when he gave her this lineage.

Her chakra control wasn't immaculate and Tsunade was an amazing, if not the best iryo ninjutsu in the world. Just why couldn't she do the things which were supposed to be passed down to her in the first place?!

Her mother wasn't good at it either, just like her. In fact, genjutsu made her really weary. Kana hated  genjutsu deeming it to be 'really dangerous' which is another word for 'fucked up'.

Ironic how she married an Uchiha.

It was all a cruel trick by Fate. Speaking of which--

Akina walked towards the water and peered into it curiously, seeing the water ripple oddly.

The last thing she expected was to get eaten by a big toad and traveling through a slimy slide, aka its throat.

"Woah, the stomach of a toad is much more different than I expected." Turning around, she spotted a stern faced Jiraiya before giving him a little wave.

"Hey! How's Icha Icha going? I'm waiting for the next book. I have a bet goi- Okay.. damn that's harsh, Jiraiya-sama." Akina giggled slightly as she got sucked in half way into the internal walls of the toad, not being able to move her limbs. He pressed a kunai deeply against her throat, a trickle of blood exiting her neck.

"Don't test my patience, brat." His jaw twitched in irritation and she shut up, opting to whistle instead.

Okay, now how am I getting out of this mess? Instead of those random shinobi stuck in here, its me.

"Tell me about the leader of the Akatsuki and explain the letters you've been sending us. Who was the spy giving me information in your organization and what are your plans with the Jinchuriki's chakra?"

Akina considered his questions seriously, wondering if now was the right time to answer them or not. The timing and actions taken should be perfect, or else she'll end up losing the match.

Like a game of chess.

"No. I can't tell you anything. Figure it out for yourself."

"Oh?" He raised an eyebrow and reached into his satchel, taking out a white weapon.

She snorted. "What will you do, torture me with a flogger?"

He seemed amused. "That's a great idea. If you weren't an enemy, I'd have taken you with me to write Icha Icha, without Tsunade's knowledge of course."

Akina grinned. "Maybe in another universe.. or maybe when I return to Konoha?"

"Maybe and no to your last question." He relented taking a step closer to her and narrowing his eyes, his hand still grasping the 'torture weapon'.

"90 cm. Not bad, not bad at all. Tsunade-hime is 106 cm."

She chuckled darkly. "You damn pervert. Stare at my tits again and I will kill you instead of Pain."

He twirled the feather in his hand. "If you don't answer my questions.. I will tickle you."

"Oh dear Kami," The Senju spoke with sarcasm lacing her voice, "- please help me before I get tickled to dea- Fuck! Hell no! This shitty feather tick-" She giggled uncontrollably, twisting her body to try and get away from the feather.

"Answer me. Who is your Leader?"

"You'll -ack!- meet him in -stop this!- in a few moments."

"Hm," He removed the feather and asked her. "What do you mean by that?"

She sighed. "You know, you should really have captured the other shinobi instead of me. His memories can provide you with answers if you send him to Konoha."

Jiraiya smirked. "Who said I haven't captured him already?" The pink ground beside him uncovered itself to show an unconscious man.

Mischief glinted in her onyx eyes and she smiled. "Do you really have no idea who your new Akatsuki spy is? Its me. Now, I really hope civilians have evacuated Konoha because people will get flattened over there, quite literally."

Jiraiya's easy going face turned hard once more and he spoke lowly. "Not on my watch."

Akina lowered her head, nodding at him. "Fine. You wanna know about Pain, here's a little hint. Nagato, Konan and Yahiko. Your three students in Amegakure are at the center of this entire mess."

His body tensed. "That's classified information. Only sensei and my teammates knew about it. How do you know?"

She shrugged. "Because they told me. They are alive and well. Your Intel is wrong."

Jiraiya's eyes were wide open with disbelief and all was silent for a few minutes as she tried using chakra to get out. The usage of chakra only made it tighter for her to escape and she swore under her breath.

"Look, I get that you're shocked but if you don't release me now I can't distract Pain."

"So, his name is Pain?"

"No shit, Sherlock. Do you want a prize?! GET ME OUT OF HERE!"

"Distract him from what?"

Akina looked away. "There's no way I'm answering that. I suppose the infiltration should wo- who am I kidding. They're gonna fucking die."

"I can only assume you're talking about your teammates. Maybe you should have a little trust on them."

She returned her gaze to Jiraiya. "Don't talk about shit you don't know. I can trust them, but not when I'm the main distraction. I have to distract Pain. So, I'm asking you kindly. Please, let me go."

"Perhaps I should send you to Konoha." Jiraiya raised his eyebrow. "Yes, that would be best."

"I seriously didn't want to do this, but I see no choice. Jiraiya, for my team and Itachi, I'm ready to sacrifice you." She activated her rinnegan, the dojutsu glowing a bright purple.

"Those eyes.. Nagato.." Jiraiya took a step back, his eyes narrowed. All the fun and games were over. Now, he needed to defend himself. Akina focused the chakra on her hands.

The toad to say simply, exploded in a matter of intestines and blood as the both of them were left standing in a narrow alleyway. The blood fell on them like little raindrops as the both of them stared at each other.

"You could've lived, however, you'll be my distraction now." Akina spoke quietly.

The origami sheets which were observing the duo began forming into a shape of a woman with purple hair and orange eyes, the Akatsuki cloak and hat on top of her head to conceal her true identity.

"Deactivate your kekkei genkai, Akina. Seems like you found the spy first, or rather he you. Pain and I will take care of him." She murmured softly. Jiraiya got into a battle stance, his eyes narrowed on the two females.

"Should I contact shishou?"

"He's already on his way. Stay if you want, but if you do then you'll have to fight this man. Pain has been suspecting you." Konan whispered quietly, her eyes flashing towards Akina.

"Suspecting me?"

"I don't know what you're upto, dear, but whatever it is has angered Pain. Its regarding Sasuke Uchiha's escape. You helped him. Madara was quite amused at the situation, oddly. My advice to you is, run."

"You won't stop me?"

Konan closed her eyes, a tired sigh leaving her mouth. "I'm tired of war. All I want is peace and Pain will bring that in some time. I'll see to it that you'll be punished when this entire country is under his rule."

Akina blinked. "I see. Then, I'll stay."

Konan breathed in heavily. "ARE YOU MAD?!"

"If its to prove my loyalty, then I'll stay. But mind you, I never wanted Sasuke to join the Akatsuki. He should be in Konoha already. I don't regret my decision."

"Very well. The consequences will be dire. You know how we needed those set of sharingan."

"You already have Itachi's." Akina replied sourly, her face scrunching up in annoyance. "How many do you need?"

"Ask Madara."

"Fucking eyeball collector. He's like the cheaper version of Kakuzu. At least he did all the killings. All Madara does is go around acting like a gay retard with eye fetish."

Konan giggled slightly, her attention shifting back to Jiraiya. "Oh, I'd quite forgotten about you."

He deadpanned at her. "Indeed, I noticed."

"Last chance, Akina."

"I'm staying with you, Konan-nee. However, I'd advice you to summon all the Paths of Pain. He's tough since he uses sage mode."

"Fine."

I'll be the distraction you need.

Her eyes flickered towards Kokomi who nodded at her silently, the bird's red sharingan eyes spinning wildly.

.-.-.-.-.-.

"Akina has intercepted one member, a female. She says Pain is coming." Sasuke stated, opening his eyes.

"Konan. She's a formidable fighter, however I haven't fought her." Kisame admitted, staring out into the streets. They were under transformations to hide their identities. The shark man looked quite odd without his blue skin, gills and pointy teeth. The both of them had repressed their chakra to one of a civilian's, drinking tea.

"Where did Akina say Itachi's body will be?" Kisame questioned.

"She didn't."

"Ah, that's a major problem."

"Hn. However, she did tell Konan to summon all paths of Pain. They reside in the highest tower of that building and its safe to assume they'll be there. Itachi's body should be there seeing how she mentioned a few shinobi carrying bodies towards the mortuary."

"What if he isn't there?" Kisame glanced at his partner, his cool demeanor returning.

"That's what Sakura and Deidara are here for."

Sasuke closed his eyes, concentrating on the blue robin's eyes to link it with his. After a short moment, he spoke. "They've begun the battle. Akina is trapped underneath paper against a wall."

Kisame raised an eyebrow. "She'll be fine."

"I'm not worried about her."

Why you Uchihas always gotta say that? Why you lyin'?

.-.-.-.-.-.-.

"I can't fucking believe that I'm stuck with you! " Deidara groaned for the nth time in a day as Sakura grit her teeth. The duo crept inside a dark alleyway, their bright hair covered with brown wigs.

"Stop fucking around or else the mission will be compromised." She silently cursed at him inside her mind.

Bloody dickhead.

"Seriously, what was she thinking?"

Hachiko, a hummingbird of Akina's summon was flying overhead, her eyes zoning down on possible sites for Itachi's body or sharingan eyes. Entering the tallest building, she chirped, acting like a normal bird instead of an animal summon.

Kokomi-san, there's a door here. It reeks of death however, I'm not sure if this is it.

Every summoning has their own special abilities. Tsunade's slugs could make clones which were connected to each other. Likewise, the birds could talk to one another provided that they're within a certain range of one another.

Thank you, Hachiko. I'll be sure to let Deidara-san and Sakura-san know.

Kokomi chirped, flying away from the battle and Akina watched her. She had no idea what was going on but the fact that Pain and Jiraiya were exchanging greetings meant the plan was working. Stuck under a wad of paper, the Senju sighed feeling useless.

Seeing Kokomi fly above them in the air, Sakura and Deidara nodded to one another and bolted. At the same time, Sasuke and Kisame stood up, walking out of the shop.

The suicide mission begins now.

.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.

Tsunade blinked at Izumo, her eyes feeling heavy under the influence of alcohol.

"What.. the hell did you say?"

Izumo gulped harshly. Tsunade had been the Godaime for at least three years now and she was terrifying as ever. God damn him for losing to Kotetsu in stone-paper-scissors.

"Asuma Sarutobi is back. He is currently in the T&I sector being questioned by Ibiki Morino, Inoichi Yamanaka and Shikaku Nara."

She stood up, taking a sip of her sake. She was frowning. "That's impossible. He's dead according to his team."

Izumo shrugged. "He looked pretty alive to me, breathing and everything."

"Take me to them. And don't inform Kurenai or his team of any developments regarding this. If he turns out to be a spy or a person impersonating him, they'll be heartbroken again."

"Hai, Tsunade-sama!"

"So what's the matter with him?" Tsunade frowned at Asuma strapped to the chair, a serious yet accepting look on his face. He was confused, as were the others.

Ibiki grunted. "Mind techniques. Yamanaka mind techniques, mind you."

Inoichi scowled. "I swear to God Ibiki, if you are insinuating that my daughter had hand in his supposedly fake death-"

"I respect you guys, you know that as well anyone Inoichi." Ibiki's tone was laced with annoyance and suspicion. "But have you or anyone from your clan taught an outsider Yamanaka techniques?"

"Of course not. Its a kekkei genkai and no one can use it unless they have some Yamanaka blood flowing through them. Or unless they-"

Ibiki raised an eyebrow. "I trust you know what I'm thinking."

"Unfortunately, I do." The blonde man sighed heavily, the tension in his body making his shoulders slump.

Did they have a traitor among them, from their own clan?

"Whoever it is.. has to be well versed in seals." Shikaku spoke after ten minutes of random speculations, his eyes narrowed on the whistling Sarutobi.

"Seals?" Tsunade questioned.

"Yes, the reason Inoichi can't access the locked memories is because its guarded by a seal. That's my conclusion."

Inoichi hummed, thinking it over. "Now that you mention it, I remember seeing a lock. However, it was a fleeting glance and I didn't make much of it."

Ibiki growled. "Seals eh? We need a fuinjutsu specialist."

Tsunade spoke up immediately. "Jiraiya isn't available, and he's the best we have."

"What about Naruto? Wasn't he a student under Jiraiya himself?" Shikaku questioned.

She shook her head. "Naruto's training, but I'll send him a sample anyways. It'll be like a puzzle. If he unlocks it, he gets ramen."

Inoichi chuckled. "That boy.. really is something else isn't he?"

The Godaime looked back at Asuma, her lips quirking up slightly. "If anyone can bring Akina back, its him. He's training non stop to battle her. In fact, he mastered Sage mode and is working on a new jutsu, another one true to his legacy."

Shikaku's eyes widened. "You mean.." He trailed off, sighing in amazement.

She does have the rinnegan after all. Its gonna be a hell of a battle.

"Hey guys, could you like remove my restrains or something? I'm cooperating with you guys and it kinda hurts my wrists." Asuma spoke up from the white room, the only thing in front of him was a one way mirror.

Ibiki turned to the Godaime for permission.
