43. My Life Really is F*cked Up

20:25, 3 August 2019

uwu I made this edit of Akina by myself!

Lol it was my first time making an edit so don't judge too harsh >///<

I've made an edit of Kana and Daichi too.

Enjoy Reading!

<3

PS: written by a sleep deprived author who has slept for a total of only 16 hours in the past week.

So lemme know what mistakes I've made n I'll edit it!

.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.

The rest was history.

Everything happened in slow motion.

I was about to touch the tree with my fingertips and my teammates were jumping to catch me.

My rinnegan was activated which I'd totally forgotten about.

Kakashi held my cloak and pulled me back and I let out a startled yelp as the tree became further from me.

I made eye contact with him.

Big mistake.

His single eye widened at my purple colored ripple pattern spreading over my two eyes and I just realized how I broke Pain's orders.

He slammed me on the ground and each one of my teammates held my wrists and ankles as they put a piece of chakra restrainers on me.

Chakra handcuffs.

I had no weapon.

No ninjutsu.

No genjutsu.

And I couldn't possibly defeat them all with taijutsu.

As I lay panting on the ground, thoughts raced in my mind on how to escape this mess.

I promised them I'd come back.

I needed to go back.

Sai picked me up and whispered in my ear.

"We're going back to Konoha, traitor."

I smirked. "I'll never talk. The Akatsuki is my family."

A slap from Sakura.

I chuckled and spat the blood on the ground.

"Is that all you can do, forehead?" I taunted her.

"You're in chains, Akina. I don't think you get to talk." Kakashi said.

I shook my head. "I held back way too much."

Naruto just walked ahead and I noticed his body quivering.

From anger or sadness, I don't know.

Sasuke turned to face me.

"I hate you."

I smiled at him, words hitting me hard.

Way too hard.

"I hate myself too."

His eyes showed dark anger and he grabbed me by the collar and brought me close.

"You.. made us trust you, believe in you for fucking forever and this is what it leads too? TELL ME AKINA!" He shouted.

Nervousness danced in the pit of my stomach.

Looks like I have to go all Itachi style on them huh?

I bit my lip harshly.

"I was always with the Akastuki. It was my mission to get close to the Kyuubi and-"

I was cut off with a punch to my stomach.

Naruto had punched me.

I gasped and coughed loudly, bending down to try and ease the pain.

"That was for lying again and again. No one can fake the way you felt about us, Akina." Naruto's voice was extremely cold and harsh.

"I am telling t-the truth." I said wincing.

"No, you're not." He said simply.

I stood up straight ignoring the pain in my stomach.

"And what makes you think so?"

"Because I trust you."

His teams eyes flitted to him in shock.

"You trust me? This is ridiculous! You're supposed to hate me and get stronger to-" I cut myself off.

"Get stronger to? Complete your sentence Akina." Sakura said, tears in her eyes.

Naruto looked at Sasuke.

"I told you, its a future thing."

Sasuke's eyes bore into mine once more, his gaze dark.

"Akina.. Is that really it?"

I snapped. "Of course not!"

Sai looked at us curiously. "The future?"

We ignored him.

"You guys think its all about you but it isn't! I need to do something desperately. And if you guys don't let me go now, I promise that one of you guys will die. A Konoha nin close to you guys will die."

"How?"

"I have to kill him!" I shouted.

"What is going on Akina? Tell us!" Kakashi tried reasoning with me but I shook my head and kept shut.

"Fuck you all." I simply said and shut up before I revealed any more information.

A fluttering of paper wings.

Team 7 looked around.

I laughed. "Nee chan, I told you to leave. I could handle them on my own."

"Yet you still got captured." Her soft velvety voice came from a paper butterfly.

I shrugged. "I didn't go all out."

"You still have a lot to learn." Her voice became rough.

Within a second, Konan had Sakura surrounded with paper.

"Fire style: fire ball jutsu!" Sasuke made a fireball to save her as Konan merely did a few handsigns and made a wall of water around Sakura, preventing the water from reaching her.

Konan took out a cloth from Kami knows where as paper restrained Sakura from moving.

She thrashed violently, trying to use her chakra to escape.

"Its no use, my dear. My chakra paper absorbs your chakra." Konan said calmly before dabbing the cloth with water in the wall and placing it on Sakura's face.

I stood rigidly, already knowing the outcome.

Konan nee was powerful. She had earned her way into the Akatsuki.

And I could see why.

Sakura's face flushed a bright red as she thrashed even more, not able to breathe and Kakashi sprung into action.

Konan sent a barrage of paper towards Kakashi, which formed a large dragon warrior spitting razor sharp kunais at him.

Sasuke and Naruto leaped to protect their sensei and I took the chance to raise my legs and kick Sai in the balls.

He let out a sharp yelp and I grinned before half running, half stumbling towards Konan.

Sasuke noticing activated his chidori and ran at me.

Oh fuck no!

I am NOT gonna die like Rin.

He ran quickly, sharingan activated as he let out a snarl.

"I'd rather have you injured in Konoha, than safe with the Akatsuki."

I closed my eyes, defenseless without my chakra only opening them to see blood.

Blood?

Konan nee was in front of me, rasping heavily as the chidori went through her right arm and I screamed.

"KONAN NEE!"

Blood slid down her mouth as she gave me a weak grin and suddenly, my chakra handcuffs came loose as I felt my chakra freely.

I growled and everything, only for a moment fell absolutely right as the thrill of fighting and the fear of losing a loved one traveled through me.

I raised my hand...

and let the chakra take over and control my actions for once.

Team 7 flew back, Sakura unconscious as Naruto held her, his eyes blazing in dark fury.

I gently lay Konan nee down.

She'd survive.

"R-run." She whispered weakly.

"They injured you." I said quietly.

My mind was filled with the sharp, familiar ache of confusion.

Which family should I choose?

I could return to Konoha, show them my memories and let fate decide everything.

But then, Itachi would be alone.

Or..

I could complete the mission the Sandaime gave me.

"Seriously, life is such a pain in the ass. I'd rather be dead right now."

I was annoyed and I swore mentally at myself for choosing to relive in a world filled with 12 year old kids who fight and kill.

Why couldn't I choose an erotic one or a less violent anime?

At least I'd have fun.

Grabbing Konan nee, I shot them a cold look and touched a tree.

"You touch her again, and I'll destroy the damned village with Leader sama if I have too." I flashed my rinnegan eyes at Kakashi, making sure he got a good look.

At least they won't be defenseless when Pain attacked Konoha.

"Rinnegan.." I said softly as Konan blacked out.

Kakashi looked confused and hurt.

Well, who could blame him?

I was fighting him and giving him a hint at the same time.

Aish.

My life really is fucked up.

3rd Person POV

Team 7 returned to Konoha, their mission unsuccessful.

Tsunade wasn't surprised.

The rinnegan is a secret kept between Tsunade, Jiraiya and Kakashi only.

Sasuke, Sakura, Sai and Naruto had noticed the new kekkei genkai of course and were secretly researching about it, finding a way to try and defeat Akina without letting anyone else know.

Weeks passed by, as Naruto trained with a new technique with Yamato, after meeting Sora of course who was another keeper of the Kyuubi.

Sasuke was increasing his speed and working on his kenjutsu, in fact working on his well known jutsu, chidori stream.

Tension ran high in Team 7, especially with each focusing on their own goals.

Sakura had gotten a lead on her parents killer, and after asking Tsunade for a mission to complete her revenge, it was granted.

Sakura set out with Sai who was jobless anyways and Tsunade wanted her to have some support as she wasn't a field ninja, rather a support or a medic.

Sasuke and Naruto by now had realized that their other female teammate had a new kekkei genkai.

From what they knew about it so far was that it belonged to the Sage of Six Paths and no one alive in the shinobi world had it.

Sasuke's jealousy for Naruto's use of bunshins and increasingly large amount of stamina increased. And so did his impatience for reaching Itachi.

And Akina.

Kakashi and Yamato now had new jobs.

Keep Sasuke and Naruto away from each other at all costs or it might just lead to a fight to death.

The Akatsuki on the other hand was busy training their latest female member.

Akina trained under each and every member and mastered A and B ranked jutsus- her only problem being genjutsu and iryo ninjutsu.

She quickly moved up the ranks, and was hell bent on mastering her kekkei genkai, within a year of possible.

Or before Pain died.

"Shishou, its time to teach me that!" Akina requested him, a steely look in her eyes.

He considered her for a moment.

"Fine, but only on the condition that you capture a Tailed Beast."

Her relationship with Hidan, Tobi, Kisame and Deidara grew stronger and she knew she'd have to make an important decision in some time.

She tended to leave Kakuzu and Zetsu alone.

Other than that, Akina would go missing quite often.

Not even Tobi or Zetsu could locate her, thanks to the fuinjutsu training she was going through with Pain.

Keeping a seal at her on all times, tattooed on to her stomach, she couldn't be tracked easily, unless one was using dog summons.

Itachi and she had small, quiet discussions quite a number of times in secret.

He disapproved with her plan thoroughly, but she was adamant as her will grew stronger and so did her bonds to the Akatsuki.

"Its perfect." She whispered to herself, staring at her masterpiece.

Akina had been working hard on this project for a long time, deeming it to be the only place safe for her.

And others.

The place was untraceable by all means.

Not even a sense smell could help in tracking.

It worked better for Akina's case since no one knew she was here. Not even Itachi.

Her once rusty fuinjutsu skills, due to lack of practice had now been polished to close perfection.

Like Naruto, she was a decent seal master and now officially the fuinjutsu specialist.

However, Jiraiya had some other tricks up his sleeves.

His thoughts, primarily racing around Akina.

If she had the rinnegan...

It was time to teach Naruto something other than rasengan.

Something more.. close to his bloodline.

As Sakura's thirst for blood and her irritation increased, the platoons from Konoha dispersed as they tried to seek out the members of the Akatsuki, the ones who had killed Asuma's close friend.

Chiriku, one of the members of the Twelve Guardian Ninja.

"Is that really the bijuu you'd like to capture?" Pain asked.

"I've devoted myself to this cause. However, I will not participate in capturing the Kyuubi."

Pain nodded, understanding her problem.

"Well then, accompany Hidan and Kakuzu to capture the two tails, Matatabi sealed inside Yugito Nii from Kumogakure."

"Hai!"

"Sakura." Sai tried to interrupt her.

Sakura's bloodshot eyes traveled to Sai.

"We're close, Sai. I am quivering with the damn rage." She snarled.

"He stole my childhood innocence, my parents from me and he will die."

"I do not understand your blood lust, but seeing as you'd hit me if I objected to it, I fully support you." Sai said monotonously.

"What makes you think that?"

He tilted his head. "Haven't you noticed? Your blood thirst reminds me of Kira whenever she'd see a man in a mask."

"Kira.." She said softly, before turning back to see her target who'd lead them to her parent's killer.

"Well, lets just say Team 7 is a bunch of orphans who understand each other."

"CHIDORI STREAM!" Sasuke shouted, as he practiced new techniques and methods to defeat wood style.

Seeing as fire is the only way, he was lucky to be an Uchiha.

Sasuke stared at his hands.

Maybe that's not the only way.

Jumping into the air, he closed his eyes and threw the kunai on the trees, as it hit the center of the target range.

"Itachi... I'm catching up." He growled lowly, as anger consumed his actions once more.

His demeanor was changing slowly but surely.

Even if he lo- liked Akina, he'd make her pay.

Naruto panted heavily.

"Tajuu Kage bunshin no jutsu!"

A thousand clones appeared on either side of Naruto as they all tried to split the waterfall into half.

I'll bring you back, Akina.

The thought of getting his best friend back was the only thing keeping him going.

At times, Hinata would come and leave a few snacks and herbal medicines for him to consume which actually tasted good.

"Oh Hinata! Thanks." He gave her a boyish grin.

Hinata blushed bright at the sudden attention.

"I-its o-okay Naruto kun." She stuttered.

Yamato watched them with a smile on his face.

Kakashi's clone was next to him.

"Maa, this way I can read Icha Icha, train Sasuke and Naruto. I don't know why I didn't so that before." He was cheerful, giving a closed eye smile.

Yamato gave him a deadpan stare.

"That's really not how clones work, senpai."

"Maa, if Akina and Naruto could use them each to brush their teeth, take a bath and wear their clothes, why can't I use them?" He gave him an icy stare.

"Naruto thought of all that?" Yamato asked surprised.

He shook his head. "Akina did. Her clones made up for her laziness."

"I'm not surprised." Yamato thought back to the time as he saw Akina's clones do the oddest of stuff.

Most of them were failed attempts at pinching Kakashi's ass but hey, at least she tried.

Tsunade stood in front of the platoon groups as she ordered them to find the members of the Akatsuki.

"Be careful." Tsunade shot them a proud smile and raised her hand to the side, her blonde hair fluttering in the direction of the wind and leaves rustling.

"Show them the power of Konoha!"

Asuma stood up after removing the lit bud of his cigar, pushing it to the ground and stomping slightly over it.

Shikamaru glanced around and soon released a yawn.

"Let's get started then."

Ino and Choji nodded as they did a group hug, courtesy of the violent Yamanaka.

"Stay alive. Even if you should fail... just stay alive." Choji told his team, tears in his eyes.

Asuma laughed and patted him harshly on his back.

"I still have a long way to go before death."

(lmfaooo you thot! //gets slapped//)

Ino and Choji nodded, satisfied before running off to join their platoon.

Shikamaru shook his head as Asuma took out a cigar and was about to light it, before closing the lighter and placing it in his pants.

"Sensei, I've never seen you refuse yourself a cigar?"

"Ah, its not for me.. but for someone else."

Shikamaru merely raised an eyebrow as Asuma thought of his black haired, red ringed eyes lover.

The platoons set out as they all covered different regions of the Land of Fire, using pigeons to communicate with their Hokage and neighboring troupes.

Meanwhile, the Akatsuki were on a roll of their own.

Akina, Hidan and Kakuzu walked silently in the forest, the Jashinist shooting her questioning looks.

The girl was usually bright and hopeful but over the past few weeks, she was going silent and had a rage in her eyes.

Hidan was a good friend but..

He was the type your parents would warn you to stay away from-

'The Bad Influence'

So, when he saw that dangerous look in her eyes, he knew it had to go on.

He wanted her to experience the joy one can achieve by torturing others and the pleasure too.

Kakuzu had noticed this behavior change as well, however he didn't completely buy it.

The old man was on a secret mission from Pain himself- observe Akina.

So far, in the fight against the Jinchuriki, she hadn't done anything other than observe from a distance.

"You both can defeat her easily, so why do you need me?" Her answer to his question as to why she didn't help.

Her eyes were sharp, cold and calculating.

He'd seen that look far too many times.

Her keen eyes were observing everything and under the intense stare, he knew- call at intuition- that she knew more than she let on.

Almost as if she knew what was gonna happen.

Akina hummed. "Where is the bounty station anyways?"

Kakuzu grunted. "We're here."

They walked out of the forest, into a large field with a building in the middle, with the old man carrying Chiriku's corpse on his back.

Hidan sat down on top of the steps, grumpily. He was bored.

Akina made her way to Hidan.

"Hidan, don't look so down." She said quietly.

"I'm fucking bored, stripes! You wouldn't even let that old bastard try and knock my head off. Fuck, you made sure everything was peaceful and you know how much I hate peace."

Akina felt her lips tug into a small smile and she stayed silent.

"Aww nasty. I can smell the damn stench from here itself. And I don't know if its the fucking body or the piss."

She hummed.

"True that."

Q: If you were reborn in the universe, what would your name be and what would your clan be?

SmH

I would've chosen the Hatake clan.

I mean, they are powerful AND smart. And hot asf.

PS: does anyone know when the events of the movie A Road to Ninja takes place?

Coz oml I have amazing ideas for that arc.

*snickers*

Yeah, y'all are gonna die due to CRINGE!

Anyways, Imma start focusing a bit on Sakura as well because she's pretty important in the future chapters.

I kinda downplayed her whole involvement in the first part but now, she's getting her screen time soo...

expect character development for both females!
