That night Beatrix stood in the bathroom as she took off her makeup as her hair stayed in a messy bun.Her mind spun as she thought about Caius.He was like a curse and he had already taken over her.She knew this was supposed to happen.The mate bond made the two people obsessed with each other and Caius wanting nothing to do with her only made it worse because she knew she needed him.Now that she had met him there was no going back.She looked in the mirror as she felt something trickle from her nose to her lip.She looked at herself as she realized that one day of trying to get Caius to find her the littlest bit interesting gave her a nose bleed in a tower full of vampires."Dammit," she muttered as she grabbed a cotton ball to hold to her nose so she didn't irritate her nose.She tried to keep calm as she heard the room don't slam open.Suddenly she saw Caius at the bathroom door looking panicked."I smelled blood," he said."Oh god, im so sorry.I'm having a nose bleed" she said as she felt so much embarrassment for bleeding.He grabbed her wrist and ripped the cotton ball away from her nose to see the blood pour from my nose."What caused this?" he said."Stress," she said.He let her go so she could stop the bleeding again."You should be more careful, we wouldn't want a newborn to smell your blood and tear you to shreds," he said with no sound of remorse in his voice.She wanted to say that he caused this but knew that would end well so she didn't."I believe you would want that," she said."What makes you think that?" he said."I'm a human, im nothing to you," she said softly.He tensed his jaw "You do not speak to me like that" he said."I'm not being mean Caius, im sorry if you think im trying to be passive-aggressive.I'm not bothered with you hating me, im used to it" she said causing Caius to stand there shocked.She went being disrespectful, she was truly just talking normally.It made him think mabey she wasn't as bad as her sister.He still hated that she had a pulse but that could be stopped so easily."I will be working in here tonight, do not interrupt me," he said before walking out of the bathroom.He lied Caius wanted to keep her safe after smelling her blood but he didn't know how to let that part of him in so he didn't.She looked at him before removing the cotton ball to see that the bleeding had stopped.She threw away the cotton ball before taking off her dress and tights leaving her in a black lacy thong that Jane insisted she wore.Beatrix got changed into a baggy black shirt and black cotton shorts that she packed.She was happy as she wouldn't have to wear the lingerie that was in the closet someone set up for her.It was like everyone expected Caius to love her right away but that didn't happen and she wasn't that annoyed at it as it was less rushed this way.She looked at Caius as he sat at his desk already working.She walked to the bed and pulled the duvet back before getting in causing her entire body to melt into the matrice.It was like a cloud.She looked at Caius as he quickly looked at her.She knew something was there, there had to be.
