𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝟏𝟏

"You're looking for Gem? He's not here, he's still sleeping in my condo." she blurt out.

"You're the one who sent me here, right?" I asked.

"Yes, I used my boyfriend's phone. That's why we're here now." Mint answered philosophically.

"What do you want?" I straight to the point.

"You're so fast, we haven't been in the room the entire time." Mint said,

"I don't care. I can't bear to be with you in the same room and you still want another half hour? Who are you?"

"Ow! I like that kind of personality." Mint smirk.

She added, "Gemini came to my condo last night, and he was sottish. Don't worry, nothing happened to us."

"Then?" I spare my words.

"Don't you realize that your husband still comes to me without considering your feelings?" Mint asked frankly.

I gulped at what she said while staring at her, "Shouldn't I be the one who ask that question?"

Mint didn't speak but she reacted as if she had no idea.

"Gemini and I had an arguments last night. You? Don't you realize that my husband came to you when we had a fight. Are you a girlfriend or a rebound?" I proudly answered.

"Ai' Fourth!" she pissed off.

"You know what I always tell Gemini that I respect you because you're my husband's girlfriend, why it sound like a flirtatious?" I smiled as if I want to provoke her intentionally.

"You're just a husband on paper, Gemini's only right is to take care of you as your father will. If your dad doesn't sick, Gemini would have no intention of marrying you." Mint whispered tremblingly.

I suddenly lost my mood when Mint mentioned my dad in our conversation, I was holding my pant tightly because I was holding back my anger with Mint.

"Cancer is not a joke." I speak daringly

"Really? Are you sure your dad has cancer? Or is he just pretending because he is supportive of his son who likes a man." Mint's tongue slipped.

"Ai' Mint! don't bring my dad into this shitty conversation. He cancer has nothing to do with him!!" my voice trembled.

"You know I felt sorry for you, because you waited for your dad to get sick just so you could get the person you want, and even forced it." she insulted my dad.

I was speechless at what Mint was blurt, I forced myself to keep quiet and not move even though my chest was already tight from what was coming out of his mouth about my dad.

"Don't get me started, Fourth. Maybe you forgot about me being the reason for Gemini's career, and Gemini loves his career.

Gemini only responsibility is to take care of you, right? so once I find out that someone is intervening with you and my boyfriend, His beloved career will distroyed by myself." Mint threatened.

She added, "Don't use your fucking marriage as an advantage to have something between you. Always keep it in your mind that you are only married because of responsibility!!"

Mark's POV:

I came out of the room and hanging in the hallway while talking to someone on the phone, a few minutes passed before I hung up. I was about to open the door to go back inside, when my peripheral view caught a glimpse of Mint who came out of the room next to my room.      "Mint?" I wondered as I looked closely at the girl who came out.

less than a few minutes later, I was stunned to see Fourth who also came out of the room where Mint was from, Fourth was walking slowly as if he were lethargic, out of confusion, I followed Fourth while walking.

Because of the confuseness and concern about Fourth's condition, I followed him until he was driving on the road, so I could make sure if he would be able to get home safely. When I followed his car, I didn't realize that I had already reached the sea.

I followed him all the way to the sea shore, I was far away but I already heard his heartbreaking screams. His cry was filled with resentment, frustration, and stress as if he was tired of everything.

"Ahhh!!!!!!!! why is the world so unfair!!!!!!" he shouted into the air.

I want to approach him, but I prefer to let him shout out everything that hurts him until he gets tired and calms down, I can feel the pain in his screams. I didn't expect the weight of his feelings, because he smiled and laughed in front of me the last day we met.

"I want to rest!!! I'm really tired!!" he growl.

Fourth's body was slightly bent down while holding his knees as if he was tired of shouting, I slowly approached him and stopped behind him. I raised my hand to hold him on the shoulder, but I was still having doubt.

 "Fourth."

He slowly turned to me and looked at me with dull eyes, "P' Mark."

I saw the pain on Fourth's face when he looked at me and hugged me without thinking twice, Fourth cried while hugging me very tightly. I did nothing but caress his back gently to calm him down.

"Fourth, it's okay." I whispered.

His tears breaking apart, all the resentment he had let out and he would cry it out on my shoulder. I waited for him to feel ease, I didn't want him to be in shocked especially if he wasn't willing to tell the reason for his tears.

Fourth's POV:   I sat on the sand near the sea whilst mesmerized by the stars and the bright moon. After a while, Mark approached me and handed a can of beer, as if he was inviting me to drink.

"What are you doing here? are you following me?" My voice was sluggish when he sat next to me.

"Actually, I accidentally saw you at the hotel with... Mint." Mark's hesitated voice.

"You saw us?" I wonder, when I stare at him.

"I didn't know you were there, believe me. I didn't know anything." he explained hurriedly.

I grin at his reaction because his face overreacted while speaking.

"It's not that important."

"If you don't mind my question, why are you with Mint?" he asked me.

"Because of Gemini." I said unquestioned.

"Gemini? Norawit?" he's wondering.

I grinned and nodded at him, and he seems to be confused and surprised.

"Would you believe me when I say Gemini is my husband?" I ask without hesitation.

"What? Huh? Wait–" he looks so stunned and speechless.

I leaned on Mark's shoulder very comfortably and I closed my eyes to relax, no matter how hard I tried not to cry, my tears started falling on their own.

"Gemini is my only childhood friend. My dad is in the hospital, fighting his cancer. Do you know what his will from Gemini?" I sob.

I added, "He wants me and Gemini to get married, so that someone will take care of me when he's gone."

I lifted the ring from my finger and showed it to Mark, I was trying not to cry but the tears that were falling down my cheeks didn't stop me.

"Actually, Gemini doesn't want anyone to know that we are married because of his career. He told me that there is no reason for me to let others know about the marriage because his only responsibility is to take care of me."

"I don't know whether to believe it or not, but you don't deserve to be in that situation." Mark still confused.

"I always question myself, why me? Why do I have to go through this? Do I deserve to be hurt?" I cried and gulped down the beer.

I added, "the people I want to be by my side now, are gone. My friends have a grudge with me. Thank you because you are here now, thank you because you are always there when I have a problem."

"I'm tired! I'm tired of pretending that I'm okay." my frustrated voice.

"Why didn't I meet you sooner, so you wouldn't have to experience this feeling." his said filler of regrets.

He held my hand and intertwined our finger before he said, "I'm ready to listen to you, I'll go with you anywhere. Just for you to be okay."

I was lying on Mark's shoulder when I tilted my head to look at him, he wiped the tears on my cheek while staring into my eyes.

"Hold on." he whispers to me.

While he was wiping my cheeks away, he suddenly struck into my eyes as if he felt something. In a deep of his eyes temptation, he intend to touch my lower lips and open my mouth as he grabbed my jawline closer to his, and suck his lips against mine.

He kissed me so deeply,

I was hiccuping and sobbing while he was kissing me, I could feel his lips sucking mine but I didn't bite back due to the blank mind.

I blinked my eyes until I regained my senses. I removed my fingers that were intertwined with his finger and slightly push to stop him.

"P' Mark..." I cover my lower lip.

"I like you." he confessed to me that I made me more stunned.

"P' Mark, you just got carried away with beer. Let's leave before anyone sees us." I act fool.

"I've wanted you for a long time since we first met." his serious look.

"P' Mark, I considered you a friend." I said clearly.

"I don't want to be your friend. Please, give me a chance." He please.

"But... I'm already married, I don't want Gemini to think I'm cheating."

"But Fourth, I can give you what Gemini lacks." he pleads so badly.

"P' Mark. I'm sorry, I can't fool Gemini." I refused.

I removed my hand from his and directly walked away, leaving Mark alone because of the pressure I felt.

Mark's POV:

I was left alone in the sea, I wanted to drown in the sands because of the pain of Fourth's rejection of my confession, the only burden is the feeling that he only thinks of me as a friend.

Although I felt better because I was able to confess to him about my feelings, but it still hurts, especially when you are friend zoned by the person you like.

I want to forget this night of my confession because I don't want to be awkward with each other when we see each other again, even if it hurts for me, it's better if we're just friends.

I left even though I knew there was no certainty, what I felt about Fourth was true. Only with him I feel free, I feel like the prison of showbiz did not exist when I'm with him.

Fourth's POV:

It was midnight when I got home, when I stepped inside the house, I glance Gemini sitting on the couch and came near me.

He squeezed my shoulders so tightly as if he were furious.

"Is it true that you insulted Mint? Huh!!" He yelled.

I didn't respond immediately so he got even angrier and yelled at me, "Ai' Fourth!!"

 I held my breath at his yelled just to calm myself and looked at him with lazy eyes.

"Yes, I insulted her-

I was surprised when he raised his hand as if he was going to throw a punch at me, I just saw Gemini that he almost raised a hand on me.

I didn't flinch or react because I knew he wasn't going to lay his hand at me.

"Can you let go of me, I'm hurting." My voice was tired when I struggled with his squeeze on my shoulder.

I added, "believe everything she says, I'm tired of explaining my side. You won't listen to me either."

After a while, I was stunned to see a hand wrapped around Gemini's arm and Mint standing beside him.

"Gemini, that's okay. Don't hurt Fourth." his pretense of sarcastically.

"Why she's here?" I asked fill of exhausting.

He didn't speak, but just look at me with fierce.

"Don't just look at me. Answer my question. Gemini, I asked you? What's she doing here?" my voice broken.

I couldn't stop until I get the reasonable answer because Gemini didn't say anything to me. It was like stabbing me with many knives in the chest, like there was something heavy on my chest that I couldn't get out.

"Didn't I say that you don't bring anything else to the house? even her?!" I pointed out to her, while holding back my tears.

"Ahmm... I'll go ahead Gem, fix your problem with Fourth first." she act innocent in front of Gemini as she let go of his arms,

"Stay here." Gemini said bluntly, he held Mint's hand and right in front of me.

I don't know what I'm going to do at that time, I want to leave where I'm standing because I feel so much pain. But I chose to stay in front of them to show them that I am strong enough to face them, but my tears can't.

"From now on, don't bother me anymore. I don't care about the will that my dad gave you!! If you don't want to send Mint away, I will leave." I answered him bravely.

I passed them and went up the stairs to the bedroom, when I got inside I closed the door and put my suitcase on the bed.

Mint's POV:

I smirked a little when Fourth left in front of us, I was surprised when Gemini suddenly let go of my hand when Fourth left.

"Go home." Gemini sparingly, he let go my hand and head out to the living room.

I realized that he want to provoke Fourth and use me by halting to leave, and when Fourth left he act he doesn't mind me.   He left me standing in front of the door and sat on the couch, I was wondering because Gemini looked frustrated and stressed after what happened.    Fourth went down the stairs lifting his suitcase and he walked towards the living room, I can't look at him when stood in front of me.

"If you want to get a divorce, just message me, and I'll sign." his voice cracked, when he put his wedding ring on the table.

He sob, "I'm willing to let you go."

I do not speak any more words so instead I just let Fourth go out of the house, until I heard he start the engine of his car and drove away.
