𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝟒

We both held hands for a seconds not until I felt something awkward. I look away as soon as we let go of each other's hands.

"Ahmm..." Mark tried to speak up to lessen the awkwardness.

He added, "Do you want me to send you to your house? It's too dark on this part of the road, since this is also my way home."

"No, there's still a taxi to go by." Fourth refused.

"Then... I'll accompany you here first, until you get a taxi." He even suggested, which I looked suspiciously at him and couldn't believe what is exactly he want. Until I had no choice but to accept his offer because it was 2 a.m. and there's no taxis in the area.

As he was driving, I couldn't help but sit and keep close my mouth. But, then my eyes widened in shock when I saw in my peripheral view that Mark removed his face mask while driving.

"Mark? Mark Pakin?" I was too dazed to speak.

"You know me?" He chuckled.

"How could I not know you? You're a famous actor. You work at GMM, right?"

"Yes. I didn't expect you to recognize me." Mark can't help but smirk while focusing on the road.

"Just put me down here, you might get issued." I hesitated.

"Calm down. You might probably one of my fans." Mark said confidently.

"How can I idolize someone like you, Your issue is every monthly." I said blunts, little offensive.

Fourth added, "You had a latest issue last week, didn't you?"

"I don't know. I didn't know I had an issue." He grin, innocent of knowing.

In a few minutes later, Mark's car stopped in front of my house, I get out of the car right after he park.

"Thank you for sending me at home." I smile, before I goet out and close the door of the car.

When Mark drove away, I went inside the house, and when I turned on the light, I saw Gemini sitting on the sofa and gave me a deadly stare.

"What are you doing here? How did you get in here?" I asked, full of confusion.

"It's 3 a.m. in the dawn, is it still the student time to go home?" His face was quite serious when he glance at his watch.

"There is no taxi, so I just got home." I spoke with a polite tone.

"You should have called me. Auntie Pan might think I'm neglecting you." He scold me.

"I thought Mint was with you, so I didn't bother you anymore. And another thing is that you don't have to worry, I can be by myself."   "Excuse me!" His eyes narrowed, "Who said I was worried about you?" He remarks.

"I thought..."

"Not because I'm scolding you, I'm worried about you... Your dad asked me to take care of you, I just doing my duty." He utter defensively.

"Oh... Duty." I feel sad and can gaze at him in shame, "I'm sorry." I grin slightly after realizing what I thought was possible. And I was fooled for the part that I expected this person in front of me to be concerned and scolding me.

"You're here now, so I'm leaving... I told Mint I'd be here for a moment." He sigh. As he came out of the door of my house, my chest suddenly felt tight as if it were being squeezed from a lot of pain. It was difficult for me to cry and let out my tears, I kneel down in trembling.

Do I need to feel this pain?

It's very unclear that he wouldn't really take care of me on his own. I'm aware that he can only do that because of my father's favor for him, but I feel that he doesn't really want to take care of me like he used to.

The next morning, I was busy taking care of my things for school when I realized that something was missing. I thought carefully about what was missing, but I couldn't remember, so I put it aside. When I came out of the house, I saw my husband's car parked in front of my house. He immediately got out of the car and took Fourth's bag to carry in the car.

"Hop on, I'll bring you to school." He said coldly as he returned to the car with my bag.

He was driving the car, and he noticed that I was anxious and restless as I yawned. I could not get into my resting position no matter how I adjusted the seat.

"Knowing that there's school tomorrow, you still have time to hang out." He stated. Wanting to scold me again. But, he stopped in front of a convenience store on the side of the road.

And, before he got off, he wear a mask to cover his face and even changed his clothes to disguise himself from public. Right after he came out of the store, he hurriey walked into the car and woke me up for the hot chocolate he bought.

"Ai' Fourth, wake up!" He patted my arm.

I woke up and I smelled the cup that Gemini was holding, I sat up properly and took the cup that Gemini handed to me.

"Hot chocolate, get rid of your hangover."

"Thank you," my drowsy voice.

While I was drinking, I opened my phone and my eyes widened after I saw the time on the lock screen of my phone. "Ai' Shia! My first subject has been dismissed, why didn't you wake me up!!" I complained him.

"Even if I wake you up, I still can't get you into the first sub. Do you think your professor will let you in?" He added, "Get over your hangover, your next subject is still at 12 o'clock."

Gemini started to drive away to go straight to school, After a while someone called my phone which I immediately answered.

"Hello, Auntie Nhai." I answered the call,

"Are you with Gemini?" Auntie asked over the phone.

"Yes, Auntie. He's driving next to me." I looked at Gemini, and he also looked at me.

"Can I talk to him?" Auntie said with soft voice.

"Khab, Auntie." I turned up the volume and put the phone close to Gemini.

"Why?" He speak.

"Your dad and I have to go back to Canada, your brother and I are just going to take care of something." his mom informed.

"When are you leaving?" he asked again.

"Our flight is tonight, it will take us a while to get back. Take care of Fourth." Auntie said over the phone. I quickly look away and avoid eyes contacts when Gemini look at me, I act like I didn't heard anything.

"Okay, mom." My husband answered seriously while staring at me.

"N' Fourth, call me when Gemini does something to you." Auntie chuckled,

"Khab, Auntie." Fourth answered the phone.

As we arrived at the school's parking lot, there were quite a few people who noticed the car because it was lunch break when we arrived, the students crowded Gemini's car, I didn't know how to get out of the car.

"Get out before the students crowded here!" Gemini complained.

"How can I get out there are many people watching, why did you even drive that car inside the campus parking lot!!" I justify and demand it.

"Get down now, so I can leave!" Gemini's voice was irritated.

"You get off, and I'll drove away. You're so demanding!" I still argue.

After a while, the school bell rang to signal to the students that it was time for second subject and they had to go back to their respective classrooms.

"Ai' shia Fourth, your dead." Prom's suspicious glare at the distance, when he notice the car.

Little by little, the students on the campus were running out and I decided to get out of the car since the students were walking out to their rooms.

"I'll pick you up after school, we'll talk at home." Gemini warned before he sent me down.

"Okay." Fourth rolled his eyes when I opened the car door.

I partially opened the car door to get out, but Gemini suddenly pulled me back because of the students passing by and try to peeking inside. As his pulled me back, technically, I also pull back the door because of his force. He only intended to block me from the students that they almost caught him, and I turned up very quite closed to him to the point the tip of our nose touch together.

Our faces were so close to each other, it took a few minutes for us to look into each other's eyes, we even though couldn't blink because they both too stunned. I gaze his eyes down to plump lips, whilst he checking out at the students walk away who almost caught him.

He noticed that my gaze was different from hisx so he pushed him a little, "Fourth!! What are you doing?!"

"Why me? You are the one who pulled me, maybe you want me to kiss you." I answered confidently, a teased. "I haven't kissed you since we got married, I'm confused how you kissed."

"Are you crazy! You open a door so widen that why someone could almost see me." He excuses.

"What should I expect, your career is more important to you than me. So even you're going to cripple me by pulling my arm, it's okay... Just don't ruin your image." I grin, I was offended by him. I'm fucking pissed off.

I opened the door slightly and got out of the car, I walked straight away as if nothing had happened. As fast as I got out of the car, but, suddenly someone jumped behind me and put his arm around my shoulder.

"Ai' Fourth!!" Prom appeared from nowhere.

"Ai' shia Prom! You really scare me to death!!" I startled.

"Who is in the car, you know I doubt it. Is it an artist with you? Or... Maybe mafia? Is it business man?" Prom predicting.

"I can't let you know so... just doubt it." I smile at him.

"Hmm...  I know! Maybe it's a sugar daddy or a sugar mommy, you're terrible Fourth!!" He guesting Gemini makes me laugh so hard. I hit his head as I couldn't help but laugh so loud because of his suspicion, His first predict was right but I just act fool to make him doubt more.

"Fuck you! It's just Daddy." I take back my teasing.

I whispered with a grin after something came to my mind, "Daddy Gem... Narak!!"

After class, I was walking on campus with Prom and Ford to go out of school but I saw my husband's car parking in the distance.

"Go home first, I forgot my laptop in the room." I excuse.

"I will go with you." Ford said.

"No, you might get tired walking, go ahead. Bye!" I waved to them, pretending to go back inside the school.

Prom drove his BMW, followed by Ford's Porsche, out of school. After making sure that the two left completely, I came out and walk straight to Gemini's car. When I entered inside, we were speechless to each other. I throw my bag on the back seat and put on airpods as if I couldn't see him.

"Use your car tomorrow, Mint and I have a date... I might not be able to pick you up." He informed me while driving.

I removed the airpods from his ears and faced Gemini bravely after hearing what he said.

"How about me?" I asked.

"Huh?" Hid voice was confused.

"Me. Do you have a plan to ask me out on a date?" I act seriously.

"Are you serious?" He asked incredulously.

"Do I look like I'm kidding?" I really want to heard the answer.

"Even if it's just a dinner date, I have no problem if you take me to a private hotel. I respect your career, so if you ever ask me out, it's okay in private." I deliver my words in a way for kidding a side but I'm serious to ask that,

Gemini was speechless at what I've said, I frowned after I realized that I should not talk about that. I put back my earpods and listen to the music while looking at the places were passing by. At night, when we got home, he carried my bag and he got out of the car. As I went directly into the house and sat in the living room.

"You said we had something to talk about, didn't you? What is it?" Fourth's withered voice, as Gemini entered the house.

"No, I forgot." He says. He put my bag on the sofa, and walked straight out of the house, But I immediately called him to stop.

"Are you going to sleep with her again?" my voice cracked.

Gemini halted and turned to me, asking, "Why?"

"Maybe you can stay here with me." I please, "even just until I fall asleep... Then you can leave and see her." I forced to smile.

I just looked away when I couldn't stand the tear up after what I plead. I tried to put a smile on my face, and went straight up the stairs to the bedroom because I couldn't hold back the tears in front of him. I left my husband dumbfounded by my words, he followed me with his eyes as I walking upstair.

"I'm sorry. I cannot go tonight." Gemini's voice, he call his girlfriend.

After a while, Gemini got up and went straight to the bathroom to take a bath, while I was lying down and waiting to fall asleep. My attention caught in the phone ring, I heard Gemini's phone ringing next to the lamp on the left side of the bed. I didn't touch the phone, but I saw that Mint's picture appeared on the phone screen with the nickname 'Love', I turned on airplane mode and powered off Gemini's phone after Mint voluntarily ended the call.

"Me first, I'm sorry."

I heard the door open, so I went back to lying down as if nothing had happened.  Gemini sat down on the left side of the bed, we both laid down and tilted our body facing each other.

"Goodnight, N' Fourth." Gemini's deep voice.

"Goodnight, P' Gem." I utter feelingly.

The next day, I was barely adjusting my sleeping position when my hand accidentally touched something hard. I can't explain what my left hand felt, in curiousity, I opened my eyes, I was shocked when I touched Gemini's chest.

I blinked twice while looking at my hand placed on his chest and swallowed saliva because It was so stunning. I lifted my head slightly, but his right arm wrapped around my waist, and his left arm was open and placed under my head. I didn't intend move for a few seconds during that time, I just stared at Gemini's face while sleeping soundly. I couldn't help but smile and bite my lip as I looked at him very closely.

"Narak." I beam.

The smile on my lips erased when our eyes met right after he open his eyes. I gulped down and hold my breath for a few second, he still processing his mind and look down. He was surprised when he realized that our body was too closed, it's because he hug me earlier. He was shocked and kicked me with his strength, I fell on the ground.

"Ai' Fourth!" his was confused and shocked.

"Ouch!" Fourth reacted when I fell on the bed.

I looked at him with deadly stares as soon as I sat on the floor, holding my head due to the pain after I bumped into the small drawer next to the bed.

He took an cold compress from the fridge and give it to me.

"Put it on your head for a cold compress." He handed me an ice pack.

"Thank you," I said sparingly. And, applied it to my nape so that pain wouldn't swell too much.

"What time will you leave?" I asked.

"Around 10 a.m."

After a while, Fourth suddenly turned into a serious face and said, "Thank you."

"For what?" he asked.

"You stayed here all night to accompany me...    You can now spend your whole day with her." My voice was breaking, "Enjoy your date." I put a smile on my lips, but my eyes filled of tears.

He didn't respond anymore, so I returned my room. I did not go to school because I was going to visit my father in the hospital, while Gemini was left at home to prepare his date with Mint.

I drove my Lamborghini to the hospital, and when I entered the room, I found my dad resting on the patient bed and my mom sleeping on the sofa. I slowly stepped closer to my father's bed and sat on the chair next to his bed. I took his hand and slightly bent down my forehead to rest and recharge my strength.

"Pa, I'm sorry. Sorry." I spoke with a hushed tone. My tears couldn't be avoided while holding my father's hand tightly. I was having a hard time stopping the tears from my eyes because I don't want to face my father in such a situation.
