Chapter 5
02:30, 27 February 2019Loki ended up stabbing the pedophile in the neck. He didn't make it very far, before being cought. He's got a week in solitaire.
As we sit at the breakfast table, the first meal after the locking mechanism was replaced, I ask "What happens in solitary?"
They share a look, before Stark states "Depends what you're in for." he moves to get comfortable "I got put in for fighting for a day, fully clothed, no pat-down."
"For murder with a weapon is worse." Steve states, before shaking his head "Loki won't get much time added on, because guy was a chomo, but he's gotta do the time in the pit."
"But since he had a weapon, he was stripped of his clothing. Do you get his stuff, yet?" Stark asks and I shake my head "You'll get them in the next few days."
Steve shakes his head "The guards use solitary inmates as punching bags. The chains insure the prisoner doesn't fight back."
"Chains?" I ask and Roger hums.
Stark sighs "Shackles that connect with the ceiling. Anything out of dead center, you've gotta crawl."
I scrunch my nose at that "This place really is fucked up."

Five days later, I'm coming back from the yard. The guard opens the door for me and I step in to find Loki in my bunk, his back to me.
"Hey." I smile and he hums, before turning to me. He has a bruise on his neck, that looks to be from the chain "What the hell happened to you?"
He gulps, gripping his side and sitting up "Solitary guards aren't too nice to prostitutes." he winces, before asking "Do you mind if I take the bottom bunk for awhile?"
I give a weak smile, before sighing "Do you need your book?" I ask and he nods. Silently, I step forward and grab his book from the top bunk "Here you go."
"Thanks." Loki smiles and I sit at the foot of the bottom bunk "What happened while I was down the rabbit hole?"
I point to the door "A whole lot of nothing." I state, before remembering "A Chitari stabbed a Skrull in the middle of the yard, few minutes ago. That's why we're in lock down."
He frowns "The beginning of a revelation?" I shrug and he snickers "What great holiday is this that we might sleep soundly at night?"
"Okay, Shakespeare." I remark sarcastic, before sighing "We have an hour until lunch. What do you want to do?"
"Probably just read." Loki nods, before sighing "I'm starving." he grovels and I notice that he doesn't look slender, any longer, but almost sickly. As if he dropped ten pounds.
Silently, I grab the bin from under my bed and hold it up to him. His eyes hunt the packaged snacks "Take what any and all you like."
His book is tossed aside and he dives for the snacks. He starts with a few packages of sweets, before diving for weird combinations. A salami stick with a granola bar.
"Calm down, I'm not taking it away!" I declare and gives an embarrassed look "What did they feed you down there?"
He shrugs, before sighing "Only about one meal was out of my reach." he states, before tossing something into his mouth, before pointing to the radio on the table "Turn that on, would you?"
Obediently, I turn it on and return to the edge of the bed. A little smile appears on Loki's lips as I do.
We sit in silence for a long time, before Loki asks "You are very comfortable around me." He narrows his gaze at me "You must have a sibling."
I nod, and am about to explain, only he holds up his hand to stop me "You're open to me, so I must remind you of your sibling. The way you sit closer to me than the other two, means you probably only have one. The way you respect me, means they are your senior. Lastly, the way you subconsciously support my back, not to far down, or far up, in the hopes of not accidently disrespecting them, means it's a sister." he smirks mischievously "You have a older sister, am I right?"
I stare in amazement, before sighing "Her name is Helen, but she'll punch you if you call her that. Everyone calls her Hela. She have black dreads, and green eyes, and tatted up arms."
Loki snickers, before asking "That explains it. So, what does she think about you being here?"
I scoff, before shaking my head "She hated Sif to begin with." I check my watch "She's actually supposed to visit today, but I don't know if she'll make it."
He hums, before looking at me fondly "Thor?" he asks, a bright smile playing on his lips "You know, I'm very content with your's being the first face I've seen in a week."
I frown in confusion, before asking "What is that supposed to mean?" he shrugs and I scoff "Is it an old-timer, thing?"
He shakes his head, before grabbing his book "When you get out of the hole, the first person you see, is a god, pulling you out of hell?"
"Are you calling me a god?" I ask and he nods, playfully, causing me to laugh. When I stop, I look to him "If I didn't know better, Loki, I'd say you're flirting with me."
He rolls his eyes, before moving his hips to get comfortable "Please, I know you have a wife. I'm not flirting with a black widower."
I fall silent and he changes the subject "What do you want to do?" I hum and he explains "We are locked inside a cage, together, for the next nine years. What's our wank schedule?"
"Pardon?" I ask and he sighs "Our wank schedule? Why do we need a wank schedule? What wanking?"
He gives me a knowing look "Don't you dare say that you don't wank off. Hell, even Steve wanks off." he motions towards Rogers's cell.
"Do you?" I ask and he looks at me like an idiot "Who am I kidding, you quit sex. You'll be jerk off all night."
"Nah." Loki shrugs "Maybe once or twice a night." he gives a weak smile, before declaring "We could have a don't ask don't tell policy." he shrugs "Or we could talk openly about it. It's not something to be ashamed of."
I narrow my gaze at him, before looking away.
We're silent until the guards come to gather us for lunch. As we walk towards the lunch area, Loki whispers "Take Steve and Tony for example, they're prison gay."
"What the hell is prison gay?" I ask and he gives a look, before I get it "Then which one of them bottoms?"
Steve leans back as he continues walking "Tony." he declares and I nod as Loki snickers behind me.
"Yes Steve?" Tony asks and Loki leans into me to insure Tony wouldn't see him laughing. His cold hands rack over my lower back and I can't stop myself from smiling.
