"Did you get it?" Alec asks Jace, Clary, and Liv as they run to us. We were in front of the police station.

"Theoretically." Clary says.

"Theoretically?" Me and Alec say at the same time.

"Yeah. I found the card. I just have to figure out how I reached into my notebook before." Clary says making Liv glare at her. "It's... it's not an exact science."

"Correction, I found it since I had it the whole time." Liv says. They ignored her.

"Can't you just pull the Cup out?" Alec asks.

"I can, theoretically. I just...it's not as easy as it looks, Alec." Clary says to Alec.

"Listen, you two can discuss theories as much as you want when we get back ti the institute. But right now, considering we just stole from the cops, I suggest we get home." Jace says looking around.

"Guys..." Izzy says. "I think the mundanes might be the least of our worries." Izzy says as her necklace pulses.

"Well, at least we know the demon necklace works." Alec says.

"Never a dull day. Let's go." Jace says so we all walk fast well me it's sprinting as I'm short as hell.

"Guys hold on." Clary says.

"Yeah, you guys walk to fast. Give me a piggyback ride Alec." I say.

"No." He says so I pout. I turn around because of a weird noise.

"What you do to grams?" I say sarcastically.

"Grandma?" Jace says making me crack up with Liv. He stabbed her making her screech.

"Oh shit." I say surprised. She turns into ashes.

"What the hell." Clary says.

"Language. Not in front of Grandma." Jace says in amusement making me laugh. Liv snort.

"How did it find us?" Alec asks as we see a police officer look at us.

"I don't know...but she brought friends." Jace says.

"How can you tell?" Clary asks Jace. They walk making me groan. I jump on Alec's back. He shakes his head and grabs my thighs to hold me up.

"It's like seeing through a glamour. You just got to pay attention to the details." Jace says behind us.

"But I can't see anything." Clary says annoyingly.

"Behind us." Izzy says.

"I...I still can't see them." Clary says. I roll my eyes.

"Just shut the fuck up. Your voice is giving me a migraine." I snap at her.

"Okay, there's too many people." Clary says as we stop walking.

"Oh, so now you can see." I say sarcastically.

"I don't say this often, but I agree with Clary." Alec says me scoff. "We gotta get out of here."

"Hey, this way!" Clary says running off. I go up and down as Alec goes down the steps.

"What's the unlock rune again?" Clary asks as Jace kicks the door open.

"Open sesame." He says sarcastically and raise both eyebrows. He walks in making us follow, again they followed I just look at my nails.

"Aw, one chipped." I say sadly.

"Go." Jace says. I smell the air.

"Yuck." I say as I get off Alec's back. His arrows appear, so does his arrow.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Jace asks Alec.

"Holding them off. Take Clary back to the Institute. Also Ariel." Alec says making me look at him.

"No, if your staying in staying." I tell him grabbing his arm.

"We fight together." Jace says.

"Don't be stupid. If the demons get the Cup, we're all dead anyways." Alec say. I scoff.

"The only stupid one here is you." I tell Alec.

"I'm not leaving anyone behind." Jace argues with him.

"You don't have a choice." Alec tells him.

"I know you guys are having a moment, okay? But we really have to go." Clary says.

"Shut it carrot head." I say to her.

"Don't worry. It's not like this is the first time Alec has saved your life. I doubt it'd be the last." Izzy says walking away.

"Go." Alec tells us. Jace walks away but I stay.

"I don't care what you say, your an idiot and I have my knives." I say looking away from him. I pull up my skirt and grab my knife that was on my thigh knife holder.

We had found Luke walking around. I peek over Alec's shoulder and see clary looking at the ground. "Clary!" Luke says. She turns around scaredy.

"Get back." She puts her weapon up. "How do I know you're Luke?" She asks.

"I got you spray paint for your birthday." He says.

"What happened?" He asks her as she looks around scared.

"Uh, demons. Long story. Um..." she breaths heavily. "Where you come from?" She asks Luke.

"Jail." She answered. "I ran into Alec and Ariel. Said you might be down here. Thought you might need some help." He says.

"Apparently not. Looks like she took care of it." Alec says.

"Shouldn't we be going? Or something." Clary says making me roll my eyes.

"More demons could be coming, right?" She asks.

"Oh, don't worry about it. I got the pack out the lookout. If there's any other demons we'll take care of them." Luke assured her.

"Look at you leader of a pack." She says smiling.

"We'll, you know, it has its perks." He shrugs.

"Shall we?" She says. Luke walks away and she follows.

"Yeah, right." Alec says.

"This is getting boring." I say next to him.

"Right now, Clary is the only thing that matters." Jace says as we get near him.

"Aw, isn't that so cute." I say sarcastically.

"Jace!" Clary says exaggerating.

"Clary." Jace says. Clary goes and hugs him making him hover his hands over her back. I see Liv walk out the room. He pulls her out of the hug.

"I did it. I got the Cup." Clary says to him. I roll my eyes and go next to Alec.

"They disgust me. They'll be dating next week." I say to Alec.

"That's if your sister doesn't fight for him." He says. Clary pulls Jace into a kiss.

"I guess it's too late." I say. He chuckles. I look at him surprised.

"I guess that 'kiss' she had with Jace was 'meaningless'." He says. My eyebrows furrowed.

"Kiss?" Izzy asks looking at us.

"With my sister?" I say surprised. "But her-"

"She hasn't been writing in her diary." Izzy tells me. "Wait, you don't care?" Izzy says Alec.

"I've moved on." He says then walks away.

"I'm going to beat the crap out of Jace." I say mad.
